The staff was very welcoming, and we appreciated that they told us the pricing upfront--no surprises there. The drinks were a nice touch, and the salon had a friendly and clean atmosphere. My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.

1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at this salon…read more I came in with a very specific inspiration photo/video for fall-colored cat-eye nails. I showed the nail technician the pictures before we started, and he said he understood what I wanted. Before he started, I asked about the pricing because I knew each nail would have a different color. I was told it would be $15 for the entire set, so I agreed. I also explained the shape I wanted and specifically asked him to make sure the nails were not crooked. While I was explaining what I wanted, his attitude seemed visibly annoyed, and he told me to have patience because he knew what he was doing. At one point, I pointed out one of the nails and asked if it looked okay. He laughed and asked if it was good enough for me, and I said yes. When he started applying the colors, I noticed they weren't really matching the inspiration pictures I had shown him. I showed him the picture again, and instead of correcting the colors, he told me that he knew what he was doing. I was then told that adding more colors would cost an additional $25 I let him know that in the beginning he let me know it would be 15 he's reply was well now it's 25 more I Said no thank you it's fine . Once he finished, I honestly hated the result. The nail technician laughed at my nails and asked if I liked them. I said they were fine because, at that moment, I thought I could just live with them for the next couple of weeks. I paid $110 and left. After sitting in my car and thinking about it, I realized I really wasn't okay with the nails because they looked nothing like the inspiration I had shown. I went back inside and politely explained to the woman at the front that I was sorry, but I really didn't like the set and asked if they could remove it and put one solid color on instead. I was told that would be $50. I asked if that meant $50 for removing the existing color AND applying one solid color, and she said yes. She then mentioned that she was already giving me a $20 discount. At that point, I was confused because I had literally just paid $110 for a set that did not turn out anything like what I requested. I would potentially be spending another $50-$70 on top of that just to fix the service. I explained that I didn't think that was reasonable and that I didn't feel I should have to pay that much more to correct a set that didn't resemble what I had originally shown the technician. Her response was essentially to let her know whenever I was ready. There was no offer to redo the nails, no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue, and no refund!!!. I ultimately left because I felt completely dissatisfied with both the service and the way the situation was handled. The biggest issue for me wasn't even just the nails--it was the customer service. I clearly communicated what I wanted, showed multiple reference pictures, asked questions about the pricing, and still left feeling like my concerns were an inconvenience. I paid $110 for a service I wasn't happy with and was then expected to pay even more to have it changed ($70-$50). Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return to this salon or recommend it to others they take advantage of you and your money.

On top of that, the French tip design was charged as $20 instead of the $8 listed on the website.
