This spot is so cute, I would recommend! Very friendly staff and tasty drinks available.

Hot decaf latte. Not what I ordered.

I walked in for the first time to get a coffee. I ordered a decaf iced latte. The gentleman then took the order of the girl behind me. She ordered soup and a sandwich. He filled her order before mine, okay, maybe she was in a hurry? Then he filled my order incorrectly. Nice looking place, but not the best service.

    Caprese on multigrain

Great neighborhood breakfast spot. Caprese (5/5) - Perfect breakfast sandwich, ingredients were all fresh and simple. This typically comes on a biscuit but they were out that morning so I got it on multigrain, which worked great. Tomatoes were my favorite part of this sandiwch, fresh and tangy.

    17 dollars for this!

I usually come here for cookies and pastries, which are delicious, but today I ordered a chicken sandwich. 17 bucks, no side of fries or anything else, small, dried chicken breast, cold, chewy bacon, wilted lettuce, stale sesame roll that was burnt on the edges from trying to toast it up.

South end buttery was a place I heard about from many of my coworkers, and I was so excited to try it! Cappuccino was great (i have high standards for coffee), but the food was meh. Everything in the menu looked wonderful, and I ended up getting the Caprese breakfast sandwich (which looked really interesting). The sandwich was good, but nothing special (the biscuit was not great, but the filling inside was yummy, loved the slow roasted tomato-even though it was cold). My dad got the scone and overnight oats, which were fine, but also not great, and my mom felt similarly about the quiche she ordered. I think there are better local cafes in Boston, but it's a nice neighborhood joint for the south end!

Great breakfast spot. Went here for the first time this past weekend and really enjoyed it. I got the buttery country biscuit with bacon and tomato. Biscuit was soft and doughy and I loved the touch of the roasted tomato. I just got a regular iced coffee to drink which was good as well.

Stopped in on New Year's Day for some caffeine after brunch. Was able to find easy street parking on a quiet holiday so that was nice. The people behind the counter were friendly and efficient. My group got a few double espresso and a chai latte. The espresso were okay, for me it wasn't quite hot enough I like it to be steaming hot. There is a counter to eat food and a few tables as well. Overall an A-Ok spot to grab a coffee with friends.

Coffee is pretty okay but pastries are good. Nice outdoor seating when you can get a seat. Good option here.

Steak tacos are - as someone else has mentioned - to die for. My filet mignon was juicy and VERY tender. I mean, it was so easy to cut apart. My dinner partner had the foie gras dish, and it was also great! I definitely want to come back. Just do not order cocktails, haha. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we walked out of the door, the attention to detail was exceptional. The food was absolutely excellent and worth every dollar. I had the steak frites and my husband ordered the halibut. Both were Fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. We also ordered a side of Brussels, crisp to perfection. The decor and ambiance are gorgeous. I had two cocktails: the lychee martini and the 1928, both were delicious and well portioned with spirits. The service was fantastic. We never had to ask for our glasses to be refilled, our waiter was attentive and professional. My husband had indicated on the online reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and that was the only mention of our celebration. And yet when the dessert came out, it was a happy birthday, custom dessert. So without having to remind a soul, the team remembered and incorporated the celebration without having to be asked or reminded. Phenomenal attention to detail. One of the best dining experiences we have had. Already thinking about our next visit!
