In town for a quick family trip and this spot was near our hotel. We wanted an easy breakfast that wasn't the Wendy's down the block so we figured we would try this place. I appreciate that they have a ton of vegan and vegetarian options since my wife is vegetarian, which is why they get one star. But they really should not call themselves a bagel place. I'm sorry but they just make bread shaped like bagels, these aren't bagels. If you've ever been to New York, this will disappoint you more than a grocery store bagel and cream cheese. I ordered sausage egg and cheese with veggie cream cheese, pretty standard order, right? WRONG. When I got back to my hotel and took a bite, there were PEAS in my schmear! Peas?! Who puts peas in a veggie smear?? Upon further investigation, there were peas, carrots and corn in the schmear! Yup, the same veggie mix like in a Cup of Noodle. I'm sorry but it would be better if you just didn't offer veggie cream cheese at all. This was such an off putting experience, I am afraid to try anything else we got from the restaurant. Really tasty bagels and croissants. I especially like the caprese croissant sandwich. I've been on multiple occasions, and some staff are friendly, others less so. In the afternoon when it's slow, one employee had an AirPod in. There are a few high-chair seats but definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place. read more

After walking past this bagel place every morning, I finally decided to give it a try. This is a very small storefront and there's 2 kiosks to order by the window. Unfortunately, this did not satisfy my bagel craving. They seemed pretty busy with many orders of bagels and coffee, but they were quick to get orders out. I got a toasted asiago bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The bagel was pretty flat, but slightly crisp on the outside from being toasted. It was a bit chewy, but didn't feel like you were eating much. Overall, I'd recommend finding another breakfast spot in the morning. read more

A good bagel sandwich hits the spot! I have only tried one of them so far but it was packed with flavor and fairly priced. The pastries looked amazing and we got the pistachio muffin but sadly it was not as delicious as the bagel sandwich offerings. Lots of drink offerings as well. I got a bagel sandwich delivered from here today and it was pretty good. I got an everything bagel toasted with each, cheese, turkey bacon, and avocado. The turkey bacon, avocado, and cheese all tasted fresh and great. The egg was so so. The bagel was certainly better than a grocery store bagel but nothing crazy. Food: Both my husband and I had the Boston common with egg whites. Mine was an everything bagel with bacon and added chive schmear (extra cost). The food was delicious not too much schmear the bacon was not in strips so you had bacon in every bite. The bagel was lovely and the egg whites were not extra and there were eggs in every bite. Drink: the limited time golden tumeric latte (iced) with almond milk. It tasted great and was a decent size. Vibe: There is artwork throughout the shop. Artsy vibe compliments the bold yellow chair cushions etc Price for 2 bagel sandwiches and a drink $29. Not too bad and worth it. Service: The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was a bit of a wait for our food (we were there at 11am on a Sunday) about 20 minutes. They were slammed with doordash orders. Fyi, the drink came out before the food. Honestly, I was not impressed with Manhattan Bagel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and added cream cheese smear onto it - this was my mistake. The chive cream cheese overpowered the entire sandwich, I couldn't taste any of the other ingredients. Additionally, the egg they used was super cheap and despite having an option for egg whites, the regular egg was basically all egg white. Bagels themselves weren't fluffy or fresh either. My girlfriend's sandwich also was completely overpowered by the cream cheese taste. $25 for two cream cheese tasting sandwiches was a complete letdown. read more

Upon a arriving, it was quite small and the employees were busy getting open. I got the beetroot latte which was pretty good. Nothing special. My friend got the turmeric latte which she also said was pretty good but again nothing special. The pastries and food looks delicious although I didn't try any. They did have a nice assortment of to go drink drinks and food that you could just grab out of the refrigerator, which is very convenient. I didn't see much room for street parking however I just walked from my hotel and so it was easy to find. Overall, I would probably pick a different spot, but it was still pretty good. read more

First visit wasn't the best....teh service was friendly enough, thought I had to repeat things 2-3 times till they got it. I ordered an everytihng bagel, toasted, with veggie cream cheese on the side, and a hot earl grey tea. When i got my order, i tried to go to the dining room side (around the back and on the other side of the stairs to the apartments above, and was told "the dining room is closed" (at 4:15pm). Don't know why that was, but I realy wanted a sit down break from work, and had to take my order to go, because the two window counter spaces were taken up. So here are the + and -'s of this place: + - Open later than both Tattee and Pavement (which inexplicably on a college campus close at 4pm) - Devent array of baked goods and drinks, mostly done well (based on the bagel (Pavement gets this order wrong half the time -- not a hard order either.) - - veggie cream cheese seems to be the same as the vegggie cream cheese at Dunkins, wich means a little bitter and processed looking / tasting (vs the fresh veggies in Pavement's) - The Everything Bagel didn't have much "everything" on the top, and none on the bottom. (Pavement and Jaho in the South End both serve much better bagels) I'll try it again, but only because it's open later than the places i'd rather go.... read more

Best sausage and egg bagel in Boston, hands down. I always love coming here. The little eating area is nice and cozy, too, with big windows for people watching (always fun around Berklee). Do yourself a favor and get a proper bagel here. read more

I'm so glad this new coffee shop opened up here, located right in the heart of Berklee campus. It immediately catches your eye as you walk past, already filled with students and people looking for a quick bite to eat. There are 2 large screens near the front door that allow you to place your order (which in my experience don't have all menu items listed), or you can opt to order directly at the counter, which I would recommend. The first time I stopped in here I tried a bagel, which I wasn't very impressed by, so the second time I visited I ordered a cold brew coffee and pressed sandwich which were both excellent. The coffee was HUGE and I really loved the cup it came in. I asked for a little bit of milk and sugar and it was prepared perfectly for me. For the sandwich (called the "Indulgent"), I was given the choice of bread between sourdough, whole grain, or ciabatta. I chose their whole grain bread which tasted very good and fresh. The sandwich was packed with meat and other toppings and left me feeling super full. The ambiance here is really nice, they have lots of seating in a separate room, and it's a great place to catch up with friends and eat some good food. read more

Well I went back. I took a few photos. You can come inside and order from one of the two machines instead of ordering from a person. Not sure I understand this but that is an option. This time I decided to pass on the coffee and I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. I was not impressed with the bagel or the cream cheese. The veggies weren't fresh veggies like in Pavement's cream cheese more like processed canned veggies. Since Pavement is literally down the street and around the corner I won't be back a third time. read more

The workers are very nice but the bagels are just bread in the shape of a bagel, and the eggs are not real, they are microwaved. The lox cream cheese tastes like it has pounds of added sugar in it. Not worth the money AT ALL read more

I ordered a decaf latte for pickup and the worker asked questions which indicated that she was clueless about how to make a latte. She then referred to another co-worker who did not seem to offer any helpful information. The result was a horrible lukewarm cup of almond milk. If employees are not trained to complete orders correctly, should not be hired. I will never spend my hard earned money in this place again!!! read more
