This place has gone way downhill since opening last summer (2023). They proclaim themselves to be dog friendly, but a woman who claimed to be an owner was incredibly rude and shrilly yelled at both me and my dog when we walked in, and barked 'no dogs allowed' at us and kept gesturing very aggressively at the door. After going here ~8x in the last year, and this last time receiving a sad salad with giantic full-head sized leaves of uncut lettuce and such unwelcoming service, I will not be back. Save yourself the trouble and go to North Bend for a far less expensive and far friendlier experience! read more

The ambiance at this place was the best. There's indoor seating, covered outdoor seating, outdoor seating, fire pit and Adirondack chairs, and has a huge park as the backyard. Families and pets are welcome. There are two separate places you can order food and drinks from. We came on a really busy day so our food did take long to come out and they did run out of many options. The food itself is solid but could've used some more flavor. read more

This is a fun spot for breakfast and dinner, especially for families. When the weather is nice, our 2 and 5 year olds play in the sandbox outside. Food is good and nicely cooked, but the menu is a little random, especially at dinner. Most of the dinner menu is on the heavy side, although delicious if you're in the right mood. We have been here a few times now. I love how family friendly it is. Their back patio has lots of yard games for adults, a boomerang, fire pit, gravel area with toy trucks for kids. It's laid back with how you order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready but the food is more gourmet/farm to table feeling than your typical burger place. We were looking for a place to grab a fun lunch and maybe make a quick stop over at the Falls while we had family in town. Scrolled over to South Fork on Yelp and wow are we glad! Think like if REI had a restaurant, it would look like this. Close to the old golf course South Fork is not only super cute but the food is really good. The back A few tables with heat lamps which was perfect as it was a little cool out. There is tons of seating especially if you want to have an event. There's also in there for room for kids to run around in a little while parents can easily keep an eye on them. Everyone working there, so friendly. I had the Crispy Chicken sandwich. Served on a fresh Brioche bun with Calabrian Chili Slaw and pickles. Super tasty. Personal preference I would have added a small swipe of sweet chili sauce but that's just me. The fries here are epic!! Cool shape and lots of surface area for maximum crunch potential. Nice seasoning too! Grain bowl was good too. This is a fantastic venue. The setting is lovely, almost pastoral. Well at least 250-300 people in the place but it didn't feel crowded in the least. Many smaller spaces that catered to the groups that were there. We were here for a friend's birthday and had a full tent reserved for us with a dedicated server for our party of around 40 or so. Our food order was limited to fruit, a charcuterie board and wings but all were fantastic. Again , cannot say enough good about the staff! Just amazing. read more

This was such a cool and unique spot! We came in for lunch on a Sunday, it was busy but with two fully operational counters to order it went very fast. Service was very friendly and helped decisions to be made. We ordered the chicken poblano and blackened salmon sandwiches. Both were excellent!!! The potato "chips" were a fun surprise and really well seasoned. They have a great selection of beers and drinks to choose from. On the way out we both ordered iced mochas for the road which were also excellent. Where Southfork really wins is the cool set up. Inside and outside seating. Picnic tables, high top and tables. Area for kids to run and play, and an area for no kids. Dog friendly. Just felt very much like a place to stop in after a hike or a bike ride. We loved it and will for sure return. Food, drinks, ambiance are really good! Friends and I came here for Saturday brunch before hitting the Summit, ordered the Quinoa Bowl, Avocado Toast, and the Monkey Around Waffle. Drinks were the Bloody Mary, the Spiced and Spiked Chai, and a vanilla latte (for me the DD :)). The food was so tasty and friends reported the alcoholic drinks were fantastic. As a part of the fun for me as DD I get to pick the drinks for everyone, to my surprise when I ordered the Marys as doubles (to ensure my friends were properly brunch toasted) I was informed they were made that way to start! Sprinkle top quality food, robust menu and coffee with a casual inside and outside atmosphere and you have South Fork. I have had a taste of a few things and find the food very tasty. This time I had the corned beef hash with poached eggs. Big pieces of corned beef, just enough hash browns (not too much) and cool looking poached eggs cooked this side of hard with some horseradish sauce. This is a top corned beef hash in my experience - and that is my go to breakfast food. Highly recommended. Coffee is also excellent (Cafe Vita) which is obviously important and sets this place at a higher level to start. Full bar (haven't been here in the evening). I went to meet some friends for their daughter's birthday. Her mom had made a beautiful cake with sprinkles and pink frosting. Everyone ordered dinner, and then they wanted to cut the cake and share it with us. But the employee at South Fork said there would be a $30 charge for them to cut their own cake! Service has always been friendly. You order at the counter and grab your food when you're called. They have a nice drink selection and the menu is varied for many palettes. I enjoyed their hash breakfast. The moco loco was ok, rice was very mushy. They have a wonderful Bloody Mary and if you're out skiing or mountain biking they have some hearty lunch things that have all been delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic! What a surprise! Super fresh and tasty food, great drinks and coffee and even some nice places to sit outside in the summer. We had no idea this place existed and we're blown away by the food. The Black Garlic Cesar salad was crisp and fresh with a super tasty dressing, very yummy rye bread croutons and tender grilled chicken. What a treasure. Supper Club - A MUST. The Chef's Tasting Menu was phenomenal and such a rare gem in the valley. It was a flavor journey from across the globe and we did not leave hungry, but we did leave happily buzzed from the fantastically selected beverage pairings from the DeLille Cellars. We had arranged with friends to attend this event, so a great double date idea! However, the folks that same as solos looked like they enjoyed making new friends over dinner. The service, as always at South Fork, is full of great energy and attentiveness. I feel the value was beyond the price point. They are struggling under the weight of well-earned popularity and our last wait was 90 minutes, 30 minutes of which was spent standing in line to place our order. The 30 minutes of actively waiting in line really soured the visit, especially because it would have been a fraction of that time if they had just separated taking orders and serving drinks. I hope this changes. Parking is a mess, tables can be hard to find, and ordering food is a nightmare but you can see that they are working on this (there is a separate slider food truck with faster service and additional parking a couple blocks away has been added recently). Once you get through that, this is one of the only restaurants that mixes a kid friendly atmosphere with an adult friendly restaurant. The restaurant is a baby and kid friendly location that has a large sand box, open field, and abundant outdoor seating which also features beer, wine, burgers, salads, clams, and rice dishes for parents who really need a break. Stumbled upon this restaurant after an early hike at Twin Falls on a Saturday (brunch time) - enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Walked in, was greeted by the staff. Grabbed a menu and chose a table to sit at. After looking at the menu, simply just walked up to order at the counter where they handed a beeper so I'd know when the food was ready. There's a condiment bar where you can find water, utensils and napkins. The wait for my order was not long at all, and there was a good amount of people there. The first time we went, our server steered us away from getting the Thai smoked chicken salad as she said it was very salty. So I opted for the Caprese salad which was a bit bland. The next time, I had the Thai salad and it was delicious. Today I had the Thai chicken salad again and it was extremely salty. I mentioned this to one of the servers and she said it was because the dressing has fish sauce and soy sauce. Surely someone tastes each batch of dressing to make sure it is ok? We needed coffee and food after a drizzly hike. South Fork delivered! Staff were approachable, helpful, fast! I ordered the brisket sandwich and salad, my friend got the grilled cheese. The brisket was so tender, and just the right amount of Mama Lils peppers on top with the slaw. The bun was crispy perfection. I don't usually order dressing but their salads were lightly dressed, full of fresh ingredients proportioned just right, and it was delicious. The grilled cheese looked homemade and amazing and neither of us had any leftovers because it was all good. My latte was smooth and so yummy. It was starting to pick up around noon and staff were hustling so nobody seemed to wait long. Grab a table and a menu and order at the counter for a relaxed vibe. Stopped here before heading to rattle snake peak for a coffee. What a cute spot with a really cool outdoor area for eating. A nearby grass area had a huge boomerang for kids to play with.
