I limped my car over here on a rapidly deflating tire in the middle of the day on a Saturday. I showed him what was wrong (air leaking out of the valve stem), and he was like, "oh, ok," went into the shop for a tool, twisted the thing in the valve stem, and said, "there you go, all fixed." I am not exaggerating to say that it took him under two minutes from the time I pulled up, and he would've had me back on the road in under five minutes total if I didn't take the time to ask him to order 2 new tires to replace my aging ones. These guys are amazing. Every time I have gone here for an emergency tire repair they have saved the day, they're very accommodating, and they're very fast. I got the error message on my instrument panel that I was losing tire pressure--on a Sunday afternoon. :( First location I went to said they were open, but was in fact closed. I found a listing for Tire House & it said Open - on a Sunday! I called but no answer. Started to feel very discouraged, but then my phone rang and it was the technician from Tire House calling me back!! how refreshing is that?! A returned phone call! I told him I could visibly see a nail and needed to have the tire looked at and hopefully repaired. He asked that I come back in about an hour, and I happily agreed. Upon arriving, I was directed to pull forward into the lift area. He helped me find the special tool/key needed to take my wheel off (which I didn't even know was required). He got the tools out and removed my wheel, verified that it was a nail that could be removed and the tire plugged. He did all of this in about 20 minutes. This is the BEST tire shop I've ever been to. Very reasonably priced and he gets the job done so quick. I had to get one of my tires replaced because I completely shredded it, and he found a tire with the same tread/wear as my other tires so I wouldn't have to replace all 4 of them. Don't let the appearance of the Tire House fool you. I highly recommend the place. My low tire pressure light came on and I tried to get into one of the "big" name brand tire places to check my pressure and see if there was a leak. I was told I could schedule an appointment for three days from now and to bring the car in an leave it, maybe we'll get to is today, maybe tomorrow. Called Tire House and he said to bring in the car. I did and was seen immediately. Luckily it was just low tire pressure and, after he put air in, my tire pressure light turned off. Tire House is now my go-to guy for all things tire-related. I've been to a couple of tire places in north seattle, but stopped by at the suggestion of my mechanic. He was able to source the tire in less than 24 hours (everyone else said it would take a week to get the tires), and fix it quickly. I think the owner can read a bit gruff, but I found him friendly and honest. If you're making reservations at bigger chains for a few days out, try this place first. read more

What a great experience here at the Tire House! I noticed that I had a low tire the other day and went to a gas station to get air. It wasn't working and the tire wasn't taking any air. Went to a tire service center and they told me that the tire was actually torn and needed to be replaced (it was a run-flat tire, so I was okay to drive slowly). I called Ilona over at Best Service where we take our car and asked who she recommends (I trust her judgement fully). She said to call Tire House. I am so glad I did. The owner was extremely helpful and offered a number of options for getting the tire replaced. He could order me a set of new tires, replace the single tire with a used one with relatively the same amount of tread left, or go with a full used set with 80% tread left. I went with the used set and the car drives great. All-in-all, it took a wee bit over an hour and cost a fraction of the amount it would've been at a big name-brand tire store. I highly recommend Tire House for your next tire needs! New or used, you'll leave in good shape! read more

I would rather pay Tire House a small amount to repair my tire properly then wait hours or weeks for LS for "free". I took my car to the other guys and they missed a nail which I told them was there, they assured me there was only one. Waited hours. Took my car to Tire House this morning, no appointment. Mohamed showed me the nail and repaired it right there, all done it about 30 minutes! He's a very nice guy, didn't try to sell me on new tires, he said they're fine for now. The Tire House on Aurora is one of the best small buisniesses Ive come across in years! Ive gotten 2 tires from him now and last one was an emergency. I had a hole in my tire down to the thread. I drove up and he was working on something else, stopped, and took care of me. It took less than 15 minutes! This morning I popped in as I had a slow leak in my tire, he showed me the nail and said it only needed patching not a new tire. I really appreciated that as I was told (not even being seen) that I'd probally need to have the tire replaced and most likley a new tire on the other side to balance it out. Had a flat tire. Took it to another shop with great reviews and was told my tire wasn't fixable and I needed to buy 4 new tires for almost 1k even though my car had less than 10k miles on it. I took my tire to Tire House for a second opinion and not only did they test my tire and say it was completely fixable, but they said if I had needed a new tire, they absolutely could have ordered just 1 since my other tires didn't have a ton of miles on them. Best part is it cost me less than $30. I have been telling everyone I know to go to Tire House if they have tire issues. read more

Went in for a tire and wheel balance. He damaged my lugs and did a bad job balancing my wheels. The lift they used could easily damage someone's exhaust and undercarraige. He also charged extra for new lugs to replace the ones he damaged. read more

The gentlemen here said that he could repair it quickly depending on whether or not there were other customers. Admittedly, I never got the chance to have a service completed by them/him, but my experience was an unpleasant one. I arrived about 1pm on a Tuesday and there were no customers present, no work being done. As I approached the door the owner walked out whilst on his phone, and without even making eye contact just held up one finger, as if to say, "hold on a minute and I'll be with you". He proceeds to walk over to a fence and through the gate, closing it. I stood there approximately 12-15 mins, then started to walk to my car and leave. As I got to my door, he reappeared, again, holding up a finger as if to say, "just a moment", so I decided to wait another 4-5 mins. He was still on the phone when I left. About an hour later I came back and to my surprise he was off his phone and behind his desk. I proceeded to explain the service I needed, attaching my TPMS sensor to a new valve stem, and he tried to tell me with my make of car (Mercedes), I had to buy a whole new unit from the dealer, which is blatantly false. That was when I walked away from this place and will never return. As either the owner or employee, he should be educated on a repair such as this, and if not be honest and admit either a lack or experience or knowledge in said repair. But to comment to such as fact, when it is not, is unprofessional and dishonest. Whether he simply didn't want to do the repair or was trying to grossly overcharge for an unnecessary part, I don't know. Either way, it's a good enough reason for me never to patronize, nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had a nail in the sidewall of my tire and went to Discount Tires. The guy there barely looked at it before ushering me inside to sell me some tires. Knowing where the nail was I figured he was probably right but I decided to get a second opinion before committing to new tires. Tire House agreed that location wasn't repairable but he took the time to ask if the tire pressure light had come on and when I said no he looked closer at the nail. Turns out it just looked like a nail and was really a short tack that hadn't penetrated the tire. Pulled it out, no charge! Saved me $700 since I really doubt Discount Tires would have double checked the situation once I bought some tires. read more
