As a follow up to my below review. I called these guys and I spoke to I believe his name is Ethan. He's the manager onsite. He was amazing with his customer service skills he owned up to it. He really is an amazing guy. We will obviously continue ordering from here as we always do. We love to get our cheesesteaks from South Philly, and generally they're amazing. Not sure who was making this sandwich today on July 31st at 7:20p. My husband requested a cheese steak with lettuce, tomato garlic aoli jalapeños hot, red peppers, and As a follow up to my below review Swiss cheese, and there is no cheese in it. No lettuce, no tomatoes, etc. like y'all need to do better. If we're paying for something we ask for we should get what we asked for and whoever was working there tonight you need to do better

We drove from Maitland to try this place out. It is nestled in beautiful Avalon Park, next to the YMCA and across from a lovely lake. I ordered The Sexy with melted white cheddar! I love that they have a sauce bar to choose whatever you want on your cheesesteaks! The fries was yummy. The staff was very friendly and inviting. There's TV's with sports playing inside so there was ppl inside watching the game. I recommend this place if you have a hankering for a cheesesteak.. they have wings too!

On and On, South of Philly! (twang) It's been a while since I reviewed this place and I'll say it's now a 5 star experience, at least during lunch. The staff is always friendly, the food is always made fresh, and it's quite delicious, even from someone from the opposite side of Pennsylvania. Their now $8.49 lunch special includes a 6" sandwich (including their cheesesteaks), fries (or chips), and a drink. It's a great deal in comparison to other lunch special around Avalon Park. They have other specials as well (i.e. 2 for 1 beers) and may even have some dinner specials that I'll have to check in to. But they're slinging up some delicious subs, hoagies, grinders and torpedos for the local community.

I was a vegetarian for many years but last year I started to eat red meats, pork and chicken. I eat meats here and there, my body calls for it. I don't really like red meat though, but every once in a while I remember my years as a carnivore and I like to revisit those flavors. One such unique dish that was lingering in my mind was a Philly Cheesesteak. I have even traveled to Philly to try the original ones, and they are amazing. South Florida has an amazing Cheesesteak culture, here in Orlando, well, we got South Philly Steaks. This place is as close as the real deal as it gets. We tried different variations and they were all good, but the favorite was the Miami Heat. No lie! If you order it, tell them to go light on the jalapeños because you'll get burned. We also got wings and they were decent. All in all a good spot to order from.

    Not Briantos but delicious nevertheless

Something like a three or four. They're definitely not Briantos, I sure do miss them (they used to be in this spot years ago), but they're pretty good and well better than I'd thought they'd be. Lunch took every bit of fifteen minutes but at least everything was hot and fresh. Plenty of well seasoned, hot dropped fries. Good meat to bread ratio on the Philly. Otherwise, only small misgivings. Had trouble ordering my usual Philly configuration but that's kiosk ordering for you. I guess I could have asked for help but didn't see anyone who wasn't easily available. At least they call you when your order's up. I don't even know why they ask for a tip, sort of felt like I ordered from a vending machine.

Philly Cheesesteak with their smoked Spicy Gouda cheese and bacon bits with Mayo and ketchup

WOW, where do I begin this place is Amazing. I decided to visit my friend and he ordered from this spot that left me stunned with great valor on my pallet. It was so good before driving back home I decided to have it again and it was even better the next day. I ordered cheeseburger bacon rolls with one of their many dipping sauces as a quick appetizer bite. This was the best roll I've ever tasted. It literally tastes like I was eating a bacon cheeseburger without having the actual burger present. Then I indulged in one of their cheesesteaks and just like the night before it was fantastically put together. I had the cheesesteak with their spicy smoked Gouda cheese which gave it that spice and smoked flavor with bacon bits and spicy Mayo with ketchup. Spice upon spice which made my first experience at this place a memorable one. I will definitely return to this place once I visit my friend again.

These roll were wonderful! Nice hot and crispy very tasty! My first time going to this spot! I live downtown so I don't get out here much but when I come back I'll definitely be visiting these boys again! The two dudes that work there were super nice!

Can I give this place 10 stars! Amazing food. I love the convenience of the parking when you pull up. Relaxing environment and it smells so good as soon as you walk in. You can order with a person or self order. I chose to self order because I didn't know what I wanted. Love how you can personalize your food which is amazing. The prices are very fair and great quantity of food. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with lettuce, onions and hot peppers and then the loaded cheese fries. AMAZING! Nothing was disappointing. The staff was great and got me a cup for my drink. I will be back when I am in the area. If you haven't been check this place out!

    The Sexy Sandwich Combo
    Barbie C.

I will honestly say that photos here on Yelp do not do justice to how good these sandwiches are so please don't go based on that. I almost did and would have missed out on a delicious Sunday meal with my family. We ordered their lunch special which was a 6in. steak sub with fries (substituted one order to have onion rings) and a drink and were very happy with our orders. Both sandwiches had "sexy sauce" on them, which was just melted white American cheese, but it was delicious. The onion rings were skinny, tasty and came with a zesty cream sauce and the fries were nicely seasoned and crisp. Overall the location doesn't look the most exciting and appealing, but is definitely worth the experience. Also, I love businesses that offer lunch specials even on the weekends not just M-F. So that's an added bonus!

My first visit was great! Very affordable lunch special. Love the peppers variety in the philly. Cooked to order and wings were fried crispy like I like them.

Clean establishment with friendly employees. Slightly above average philly's. It satisfied the craving, but wasn't nearly worth the $23.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

Stasio's is absolutely worth checking out if you're looking for an authentic Italian deli…read moreexperience. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the front entrance was incredibly welcoming and even took the time to show us around the market. The ambience feels like a neighborhood Italian shop, with shelves lined with imported products from Italy that make it fun to browse while you wait. It's a small, casual space that feels authentic rather than overly polished. We ordered the Italian sub with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the standard toppings, along with the chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka sauce. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor and tasted fresh. The sun-dried tomatoes were a great addition to the Italian, although I do think it could have used a little more meat. Considering the price, I expected it to be a bit more generously filled. The chicken cutlet sandwich was delicious overall, but the cutlet itself was a little dry. I asked for extra sauce, and initially the employee seemed reluctant and tried to charge me for it. After I showed him how dry the sandwich was, he gave me the sauce, which made a huge difference and brought the sandwich together. That interaction was really my only service-related critique. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the sandwiches are satisfying, and the market has a unique charm you don't find at most sandwich shops. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the authentic atmosphere and quality make it a place I'd happily come back to. I'd love to work my way through more of the menu on future visits.

After a 10 mile hike at Orlando Wetlands, I was ready to eat. I'd read about Stasio's on some…read more"best sandwich" lists and decided it was time to try it out. I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!

First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

Speaking of food, I definitely think this was the best Cavo's Philly Cheesesteak (Thinly sliced ribeye, sauteed onions, & white American cheese on a fresh baked hoagie roll) I've ever had. The hoagie roll was so soft, it held up so well to the wet ingredients inside, and the way the roll was cut was just perfect. I loved everything about this sandwich. We also had the French Bread Pizza (Fresh baked seeded roll split in half and topped with house pizza sauce, grande mozz, pecorino romano, and fresh basil (add pepperoni)). Very crispy bread, very cheesy cheese, and pepperoni that was packed with flavor. This was a lot of fun. I was super excited for the Pigs in a Blanket (All beef hot dogs wrapped in puff pastry served with chipotle ketchup & Bavarian sweet mustard).
