Cheap shmear for a $6 bagel. Bagel itself was smaller than surrounding bagel joints. Shrinkflation.

1. Compared to other places you get the feeling they don't want you there. 2. They don't ask you questions like "toasted?" Again they're rushing you through and you look behind you and no one is behind you so why the rush? 3. I ask for a little bit of butter and it comes back swimming in butter! To the point that it has to be wrapped in aluminum foil because it was leaking. 4. I ask for a plain and I get an onion on it. An actual piece of onion. This is a great bagel store! They have the best bagels around the area! And their ambiance is good. Their bagels are hand rolled and made fresh on the premises. They are also carry huge variety and of course very tasty . The staff is very friendly, good prices and they also make great breakfast sandwiches and pancakes. This is my go to bagel shop especially when I'm heading to Jones beach bcuz this is place is a quick detour. Finally I love the way they offer free stuff especially to their instagram followers. read more

Owners (?) are pleasant and the line moves swiftly. The bagels are fat so you can actually make a chicken/tuna salad sandwich out of it which is a big plus for me. Some places make bagels you could nearly wear as a bracelet. The egg sandwiches are very good with enough bacon to satisfy any hungry appetite. It's become my weekly regular spot. read more

What a lovely bagel shop . I believe it is under new ownership. I discovered it while shopping at Salpino's , which is located right next door . Friendly staff and big , delicious heavily seeded bagels . I was also happy to discover fabulous coupons in my local mailer . I have many shops closer to my home but I've been back here many times because the bagels are wonderful . They have deli items and a large selection of various cream cheeses also . read more

Great bagels, but they should put some COFFEE in the COFFEE. It was pure water and I had to throw the entire cup out. Even flavored creamer nor Splenda couldn't do the trick. You want to make money, charge more -- Don't be cheap and save on the amount of coffee you put into the machine. Someone doesn't know how to measure. Must be the same employee who put ice in a cup for iced coffee which IMMEDIATELY MELTED once the HOT coffee is added from the spigot. Not all customers are stupid. No one likes to be tricked. DECAF doesn't mean watered down coffee. read more

This place is a pain in the butt. You go to the counter to order coffee and they yell at you to go to the side and make it yourself. I really didn't feel like making 8 large coffees on my own, and I feel like if a customer wants to order from the counter they should be able to (coffee is also behind the counter to be prepared by staff). Of course after wasting my time making the coffees and bringing them home I find out it taste like a mixture of mud and poop. The bagels are also subpar, nothing special, and you can absolutely get better bagels elsewhere. The muffins/pastries, don't even bother, they look fresh but the are actually hard as rocks. I wasted about 12 bucks on stale/hard pastries that ended up in the garbage. Overall the business owners should be willing to cater to the needs of their customers, which is not the case here. read more

We came here this morning at around 9:30am and the line was almost out the door so I was excited to try this place. When we got up to the counter to order, the woman took our order and then asked us two times to confirm the order, which is okay since it seemed they were trying to get it right. All the workers seemed extremely flustered since it was a busy time. When I ordered a large iced coffee, the lady gave me my cup filled with ice and informed me that I had to do my coffee myself, which is fine. However, the only coffee they had at the self serve bar was hot coffee; therefore, my ice immediately melted leaving me with lukewarm coffee. Ugh. My total came to $16 and change (SEC on an egg bagel, sesame bagel with butter, OJ, large iced coffee and a chocolate chip cookie- which seemed like a store bought cookie-very sugary and powdery, not gooey) and I paid with a credit card since I did not see a sign indicating that there is an additional fee if you use credit card. The woman did not provide me with a receipt until I asked for it and only then did I see that they charged a fee for using a card. By law, a sign is required indicating if there is an additional charge for using a credit card. As far as the bagels, we have had fresher and softer bagels, but I've also had worse bagels than this place. Glad I tried this place, but there are other bagel shops I'll visit before I return here (if I ever do). read more

I was looking for a chicken salad on a bagel and figured.... How bad could it be ?? Walked in and ordered 2. Price on the wall said 6.99 When I got my order, he tells me 28 dollars. I'm not really paying attention since I got a small coffee and a large iced coffee We'll I get in the car and look at my sandwiches and realize that not only did I pay 28 dollars but I got no sides. So I go back in and nicely ask a woman how much the sandwiches are and at first she tells me 7 then 10. I question my sides and she apologizes and gives me them. The gentleman who initially helped me seems to be irate that I'm questioning everything. He proceeds to spew profanities at me and kicks me out of the store. Totally unprofessional. I'm glad they're were no children there. I ask about the prices on the wall and she tells me they're wrong. What a racket they got going on. I WILL never go there again and I wanted to share my experience with this hole in the wall with the staff to match. No class , no professionalism. And to boot .... The food wasn't even worth the headache ..... Horrible!!!! Beware of this shady store ... so many other bagel shops down the road read more
