Dropped my car off because it was having electrical issues. I dropped it off the day before the appointment so that it would be there. I then had to call every day for the next 10 days before they looked at the car. I called today and they told me that it was ready for pickup, and that they put a new battery. No quote, no estimate. I show up and they charged me $1,100 to change the battery, including $550 in "battery storage". Not only did they take 10 days to look at the vehicle, they charged me without first giving me a quote. Had I known it was just the battery I would have changed it myself and saved $1,000. worked with Paul Depontes to buy a used car and would NEVER recommend working with them as they are not honest. On the bright side, he IMMEDIATELY agreed on a 10% discount so please do negotiate as the prices are inflated. Here just a few of the red flags: - my car was offered and priced with a detailing that they didn't perform. I told them 5 mins after I took the car and promised to look into it. They never scheduled to complete and are being very shady about it (as with anything else). - 10 hours into buying the car, I noticed a small windshield crack. Of course they denied it was there (I drove 9 miles at that time and certainly didn't cause it) and will do absolutely nothing that is fair. So, if you buy from them as you have no other option bring with you a car inspector on the day of pick up as they're cowboys and won't be fair. - I even paid for a full gas tank and the tank wasn't full at all. Not a biggie; just more stolen money and I didn't receive a reimbursement. - under Lemon law, they owe you a warranty in writing. They won't it to you unless you threaten them. Ask for it and do start a Lemon Law claim against them immediately if they do anything wrong. You'll be helping future buyers, at a minimum. All in all, don't buy here. read more

I was a customer of Storms Motors for more than 30 years and bought numerous cars from them. A couple of years ago it was sold to a company called Georgica Auto Holdings who has multiple dealerships. Today I had an appointment to have my car fixed; I usually don't go there but I do have an extended warranty and some of the items are clearly covered. The appointment was made on Jan 6; I held off for three weeks so I could get a loaner and so I could schedule during my vacation week and would not lose a day of work. When I called at 9AM to confirm that the loaner was in fact available before I left to drive there - takes me about 40 minutes - I was told my car "wasn't on the schedule." I found that strange since I had called in on the 22nd because in addition to the initial issues my phone charging port had gone dead; the appointment was confirmed at that time. I was then transferred to scheduling who confirmed that it was, in fact, on the schedule and with a loaner. I called back but Service did not pick up so I called sales and spoke to the Sales Manager. He said he would find out what happened, try to straighten it out, and call me back in about 5 minutes. Since I was sitting in my car in Bridgehampton, which is about halfway to the dealership from where I live and was waiting for the call back that never came to see if I should continue towards Southampton or go back to East Hampton, I called Paul back after 20 minutes had passed. He told me the scheduling department had contacted me three days ago and I had cancelled. I told him that was not true. I then called back the Scheduling Department and spoke to Fernando, who is supposedly the supervisor of that department. He said he did NOT see any calls to me to confirm or cancel, but there was a call from me on the 22nd that was about the phone charger not working and confirming the appointment for the 28th. I had to reschedule for the 6th but I asked for a confirming email stipulating that the appointment was made and that I would get a loaner. Fernando said he was not able to send an email while he was on the phone. Fine. The call was terminated. I expected the email within a few minutes. The email never came. I called back half an hour later. He insisted he sent it. I get emails all day long. No, it was not in my spam folder and there is still no email. I called Paul back who told me I was "borderline harassing" them by calling back to get this resolved and that his sales people are "busy trying to earn a living." He actually raised his voice to me and his tone was threatening. I told him I am quite sure he would never speak to a man like that and when I asked him what he thought I do with my day he said he had no idea. I assured him I wasn't sitting on the beach eating bonbons. I am, in fact, a 73 year old woman with small local business in East Hampton and I am also "busy trying to earn a living." I deliberately scheduled this appointment during the only vacation I have taken this year so I would not lose a day of work; since I am in the middle of a project and coordinating about 10 people my time is as valuable as anyone else's time. Now I have to deal w this again and will lose a day of work but before I drop the car off I want them to see if parts have to be ordered; I do not intend to waste more time than is necessary. The most pressing item is a window issue; when I raised it the rubber weather stripping inside the door came up stuck to the window and now the window scrapes against the interior of the door and squeals like the proverbial pig; I managed to get most of it off so it didn't impede my vision but the phone charger is a total inconvenience as well. Those issues, and whether they require parts should be clearly discernable to anyone who works on Jeeps. This dealership has become too big for its own good. It functions like any other mammoth corporation; it has too many layers and it is too hard to reach people. Deliberately. Off site scheduling is a nightmare of counterproductivity; the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing and there is no coordination between departments. The way I was treated is completely unacceptable; the SNAFU was on their end, not mine, and I should have gotten an apology at the very least. read more

My Family has had terrible experiences there. From going to look at cars to buy and not getting any help from anyone to terrible service on the car that was bought through them. I brought my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee to have recalls attended to. Since it was there had an oil change and inspection done. When I received my bill I found a $56 charge for tire rotation I did not authorize. The dealership refused to provide a refund for the unauthorized service. Last time I'll be going there. read more

Moving back to southampton was so stressful due to covid19 . I needed a new car and decided to get a used Jeep. I noticed a great looking one with low miles at southampton Jeep. The dealership was closed but the GM Paul Depontes was there working alone. I called the dealership and got the best service I ever received buying a car. First the Jeep was opened for me and I went to the lot and checked out the Jeep. It was just what I wanted. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay but that wouldn't get in the way as Paul totally worked with me and sold me the Jeep at a fair price. Jerry ( finance guy) did all the paperwork over the phone and when the time came to pick up the car Paul had all the paperwork laid out in a private sterile office where I signed and picked up the Jeep. The Jeep was serviced and spotless. All I can say is if they are this good in a pandemic they must be amazing when things are normal. Thanks Paul and jerry. You are an essential service to me. This review Is for service, not sales. I recently dropped off a Jeep for recall service using the dealership's night drop service. We listed two customer paid jobs (a new key) in addition to the recall and provided two phone numbers for them to reach us. Three days later we never heard back and my wife called them and spoke with Anthony in service who told her that they had not been able to complete the detail but the key was done. He then asked my wife, who thought I had approved a ridiculous ($378) fee, for payment. When I called today Chris the service manager told me that their policy was not to ask for customer authorization or provide a price for customer paid labor in the night drop. He was also incredibly argumentative and rude from the outset. So much so that I actually thought he was either not who he said he was or in some way incapacitated. When I suggested this he hung up on me. So beware, apparently this dealership has an unwritten (I checked their website) policy to charge whatever they like to night drop customers without asking for customer authorization. I'm only grateful that they weren't able to complete the detail since I suspect it to would have been priced randomly and completed without authorization. Perhaps the worst of this is that the dealership clearly took advantage of our desire to do contactless work given COVID-19. According to Chris, if we had come in in person, they would have provided a price, but they felt no need to call us and have the work authorized. So the process they are following eliminates customer authorization for contactless work. Unethical, opportunistic and rude would be a great description. read more

As a loyal customer of this dealership since 1986, I have not only purchased all of my Jeeps and my Porsche from this dealership, I have also for 35 years serviced all of my vehicles there. I travel 84 miles round trip for each service work done. The following is a recap of the HORRIFIC treatment I received from Southampton, Chrysler - Jeep on 7/24/2021. We came in to pick up my 2014 Jeep Sahara ( with 14,000 miles ) and asked Anthony, the service writer, to see Chris the service manager so that my husband Sam could meet him, as he wanted to thank him. He said that "Chris was on vacation". Anthony showed me the bill and pointed out how much Chris covered under warranty leaving a remainder of "uncovered" charges of $990. I said that "I was very grateful for what he did for me". As I was about to pay the bill I asked about the rotors, Anthony said that he "replaced both of the front rotors because that was their policy". The covered parts caused the other parts to be replaced which was a cost to me. I told him how the front brake locked up at an intersection and almost caused me to be in an accident. Anthony said it is "usually the back brakes that are problematic". I then asked if I need to worry about the back brakes also failing... he said yes, it will "DEFINITELY happen". He used the example of the guy who came in before me as he had the same problem with his Jeep. He continued to say that "this has been a problem since 2007 and that you better keep an eye on the rear brakes". I asked him how to do that. No reply. Sam, my husband said, "if Chrysler knows that this has been a problem then why wouldn't Chrysler cover it"? Anthony, said "ask Chris on Tuesday". "I am done answering questions, just pay the bill"! He became hostile and threatening. I told him that "I have to drive 40 miles". He screamed "I'm done and you're not getting your keys, Drive your 40 miles". He held the keys up in the air and yelled "I don't like the way this conversation is going". He then pointed to me and yelled "I don't like your attitude" and then pointed to my husband and yelled "I don't like yours either". My husband said "who are you to talk to us that way" to which Anthony aggressively replied that "he will talk to us any way that he wants to" and walked into the other room with my keys and the bill. My husband responded, "You are holding our car hostage"? All this time, while waiting to pay, I am asking Anthony to "please calm down, I don't know why you are acting like this"...it was so surreal. After he walked away with my keys I asked Mari (behind the counter) if he "is always like this"? She looked at me in disbelief, shook her head. I asked to speak with the general manager, Paul. While in Paul's office we recounted the course events to him. His response being that he could not believe what he was hearing. He told us to wait. He got the keys and the bill from Anthony and we paid it. He assured us the matter would be taken care of. On the way home, my husband called Paul asking that we get an email of apology from Anthony, to which he replied that it is a "reasonable request". As of today, over 2 weeks later, we have not received any communication from Anthony, Paul / general manger, Chris / service manager or anyone else from this dealership. 35 years of loyalty - so disheartened... I have purchased Jeeps, and had them serviced at this particular Jeep dealership for almost 30 years: originally it was Mayo Motors, then Storms and now, for a number of years, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Southampton. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism during all this time. I think I'm on my 7th or 8th Jeep in a row! The sales staff is very knowledgeable and I can't speak highly enough about the service staff (some have been there all these years) and they have "rescued" me numerous times when I have had service issues/problems. All of the service work on my vehicles is only done at this dealership. The current Service Manager, Chris, is outstanding and completely knowledgeable. I very highly recommend them.
