What this place lacks in street presence, it makes up in food quality! It is inconspicuously tucked away behind an appliance store. Without the signage on their store front advertising food, you would assume it's part of the appliance store. Anyhow, I had the Mushroom Cloud burger meal. Burger was hot and juicy with plenty of cheese and mushrooms. I got the jalapeños on the side. Fries were excellent and had that fresh cut taste/texture. Made it before the lunch rush so wasn't busy at all and took about 10min to get my food. A few parking spots in front but there was a sign saying additional parking in back. Okay, I was starving, I'm guilty of running around all day, then realizing I'm dying of hunger. I saw an article about this place and it's near a rental house we have. It is cheap, classic, nothing fancy. I ordered a cheeseburger however they usually make it. Next time I would order a double cheeseburger with grilled onions because the raw notions were so heavy, but that was an easy removal. I'm okay with a little raw onion but the grilled onions would've made this something special! Since I only had a cheeseburger, I'm basing the review on the price, quick service, convenience, and that is is not a fast food chain. Great tasting burger but I would have ordered a double had I known the size of the patties but this was my first time there. They have great fries. Friendly service. Quality of whattaburger for about the same price. The fries weren't my favorite and I wouldn't recommend the okra but all in all if I'm going for a burger I would go here and just not get the meal rather than a chain. It's easy to tell the best thing about this easily-overlooked burger stand is their prices, but with so many other burger restaurants doing things even marginally better, you'd have to really be pinching pennies to make a justification for Southeast. The patties may be cooked to order, but they certainly didn't taste too fresh, and were bland as all get-out. Fries and onion rings were frozen, too, though the onion rings were done well enough for me to eat them all. Can't say the same for the rest of the meal. But yes, it certainly was cheap. read more

And something about the lettuce or onions has that taste of like I can't explain the after taste but next time I'll get mine on the side cause it put a funky after taste to my burger and me and girl didn't like it we both said the same thing and that's not good. This is by far my favorite burger place. The new owner is personable. I enjoied the new burger of which I tried both. He still holds the classics but is trying something daring. The Yippy Kay Ya Ye is like a cowboy burger complete with BBQ sauce, an onion ring and bacon. A great mixture of tastes in one burger.
