Incredible vet care! Great vet team! We've been taking our dog here since he was a puppy (so five years now) and they've taken such amazing care of him (even though he hates going to the vet and puts up a fight every time)!! The team is so patient and they handle our feisty little Pomeranian with such love and compassion-even though he barks and bites- they truly do not seem to mind and seem to love him anyway. It's nice to feel like my dog is not only ~being taken care of~, but he's being genuinely ~cared for~ by a team who even recognizes and greets him with a laugh and smile every visit! We've seen all four of the vets on the team throughout the years and can say they're all amazing! And most frequently see Dr. Vinge who is wonderful! Special shoutout to her vet tech, Grace, who is a lovely ray of sunshine, one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and takes great care of our dog! The office is very good about communication- answering calls, replying to emails, keeping up with check-ins for after service care. Very good about appointments as well; rescheduling, squeezing us in, moving appointments around to accommodate schedule, etc. The office itself is very nice and has a homey feel, with a community chalk board, 'meet the staff' and compliment wall, and an office pet as well! Called the office 4 days ago. My service dog needs medical attention so he can take care of me. This business and the staff don't care. Spoke to at least 4-5 people to repeat the issue. They are too busy and disorganized to return the call to tell us what our choices are for care. They keep changing doctors, keep telling us the doctor will call. We are still waiting. Wish us luck with a sick service dog if our disabled family member needs help. read more

We LOVE it here!!!!!! Megan, a technician here, always remembers us and our Kaia girl. They know she loves treats and always has them at the ready. We took her in this week after receiving a bleak prognosis from Saint Augustine Regional emergency vet the night before. We had been told she had a bleeding tumor on her heart and when we arrived to Southeast the next day my husband and I were both still in tears, truly expecting not to come home with our beloved girl. Mrs. Dr. Timberlake quickly debunked the terminal diagnosis, and even did an ultrasound on her heart right in front of us so we could see for ourselves what was going on with her heart. Everything was thoroughly explained and Mr. Dr. T even came in to take another look. We felt so incredibly cared for and loved. They never make me feel like I'm overreacting, and always are sweet and professional. She's been given medication to treat her heart condition and also an antibiotic due to some other symptoms and I'm so happy to report she is feeling so much better and even played with her toys today! We love everyone here SO MUCH and are eternally grateful for everything they've done for us and for caring so deeply for our girl. I've been to many other veterinary clinics in town in the past and Southeast Veterinary is by far THE BEST experience I've had! I'd give them a million stars if I could! Awesome vet office! Everyone on staff is extremely kind and compassionate. The vets are top notch and take very good care of our three kitties. The prices are extremely reasonable. Pros: All around great vet. Provide their own prescriptions if needed at reasonable prices. Go out of their way to schedule you at a convenient time. Cons: Might be a little tricky to find. Now that the Publix is open across the street it is easier to spot the turn. read more

My dog had a mass removed mid July 2024. I elected to have a biopsy done on the mass. I received a voicemail from the office stating the mass was benign (unfortunately I deleted the message? ) After the surgery the Dr gave me a slip of paper with 2 names & phones numbered recommending that seek a skin graph once the wound healed. In September 2024 the removed mass appeared along with 2 more. At that time I was told all masses are 100 per cent cancer!!! I was shocked and asked for the July 2024 report which stated numerous times that the mass was cancerous. If I knew that I could of started treatment in July. It took until the first week in October to get an appointment with an cancer treatment facility. Shame on me for not asking for the July report and shame on SE vet for not telling me. My doggie "Lucy" suffered and passed on October 17th at home. I had her cremated at SE vet and didn't even receive a condolence card. read more

The worst veterinarian!! Took my 1year old healthy Frenchie in for a routine Rabies vaccine. The vet is "Dr.Taylor Vinge" she killed my beautiful Frenchie!! She over medicated her. She should never be able to treat anyone's pet ever!!!!! read more

My Dog had to have surgery what a great experience . The Mrs did my boy surgery they are very very thorough explains everything but it's gonna happen. Consider it because it was the weekend Labor Day weekend and they sent me options in case something went wrong over the weekend. They sit and talk to you and explain every step even if you go for a regular dog visit I love how they explain what they're doing what's gonna happen all the side effects that could happen they're just great people and I would go and trust my dogs with them forever read more

We were visiting St Augustine when our beloved Sadie, 13 year old goldendoodle, became ill. The office got me an appointment quickly even though I was from out of state. Dr. Brittany Timberlake was wonderful. Took time to explain everything to us. We ended up having her put down, and all the employees were very compassionate and caring. They made paw prints for us and clipped some hair, gave us plenty of time to grieve even though it was Friday afternoon, and provided a wonderful box for burial. I cannot say enough about how well we were treated, especially since we live out of state. They helped make a horrible situation better through their kindness. read more

Drs Chad & Britany Timberlake are awesome. I've known them for years and they have taken care of my animals for routine care and when I needed them the most. Dr Timberlake removed a large mass from my boxers neck. I was a nervous wreck but she assured me that she would take good care of him. She called me immediately following surgery to let me know that everything went well and that he was doing great. I was out of town during the time that it happened and I was so relieved when she called me. She took excellent care of him pre, during and post operatively. She also made recommendations for ongoing care. Not only are they very intelligent but they are also very down to earth people and will always be honest with you. Their clinic is beautiful and their staff is fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

Took our new 8 week old Golden for a checkup after being concerned about his soft poop. They did a very through exam and found a parasite in his tummy. Obtained the required antibiotics and now he is one happy puppy. Again the entire staff was friendly, caring and outstanding. Truman just loves going there and enjoys the puppy park as well. Had the same wonderful treatment a month ago when we took our 5 y o Golden for his yearly shots. read more

WARNING!!! These people are sadly in it for the money. Very few answers for a lot of money. I just spent 482.00 for them to basically give me the take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning treatment. I highly recommend finding a vet that cares. This was the 2nd time we tried using them thinking the first time was just a bad experience. Sadly that wasn't the case. read more

I have worked in the veterinary industry for 13 + years so, I'm pretty hard to impress when it comes to quality animal/vet care. I have now taken all 3 of my animals there and also my dads dog. I also have referred others there who were and continue to be equally impressed. Every time I visit, they impress me more. Great with the animals and their owners. State if the art facilities with very reasonable prices. Friendly, helpfull staff. Dr Brittany takes the time to explain everything and has a great personality . Dr Chad is also top notch. I took my old dog to this hospital. They off-the-bat commented about her weight, suggesting that she was fed too much. Not the case, but the vet seemed annoyed. Takes blood and finds that her liver function is elevated (she was on a pain medicine that can affect the liver--but that doesn't matter to them), so he sends me to a veterinary specializing in cancer, which we don't know she has, with an estimated cost of about $1000.00 for an ultrasound. Next he's screwing with the dogs thyroid, which I mentioned to him that she was on medication of a certain dose; so he doubles it. After another test, he finds that he's giving her too much so he cuts it back. So today, I called for an appointment and let the clinic know that she needs to be tested yet again and I needed some more medicine. They tell me to come by and pick up enough to get here to her appointment and charge me $11+ for three pills. Had enough of these thieves. read more
