My 2 of my 3 Goldens do have underlying medical conditions. I lucked out. A stranger recommended the hospital. I reviewed their website and quickly noticed that Dr. Lopez had a connection with my breed. That's important to me. Even before I officially was a client, I called them to see if they could work one of my Goldens in b/c I thought he had injected a foreign object. They couldn't see him, recommended the local ER where the problem was resolved. Yet, even though I wasn't a client, they called the next day to see how my dog was doing. Now, that's above and beyond!! My appointments are always timely. If there's a problem, they work me in. I'm the first to admit I am a high-maintenance client. Always have questions, and often have suggestions. They always take the time (either in person or by email) to answer concerns and explain why or why not my recommendations are appropriate. Typical emergency vet scenario: I am out of town and my dog gets sick on a Saturday night two days…read morebefore Christmas. My mom has taken her dog here before so we tried it out. The customer service was superior. My husband called and they suggested that we wait an hour to come in because he vet would be in surgery for another hour. It is shocking when a health care provider is cognizant of its customer's time. When we arrived we went through the standard medical history and check-in. Then the tech went back and forth from the vet (still in surgery) in order to get an idea of the type of tests that the vet would order. The tech then provided us with a detailed cost estimate of what the visit might cost us. (I was again pleasantly surprised- In the past I had an emergency vet ask for permission to shave my dog, but did not tell me the procedure would be $800). We waited about 15 minutes and the vet came in and discussed the case. My dog was given a shot, medicine, and ongoing care instructions. We were in and out in under 1 hour and $300 under the estimate. Really the most positive emergency vet experience ever.

The team is so patient and they handle our feisty little Pomeranian with such love and compassion-even though he barks and bites- they truly do not seem to mind and seem to love him anyway. It's nice to feel like my dog is not only ~being taken care of~, but he's being genuinely ~cared for~ by a team who even recognizes and greets him with a laugh and smile every visit! We've seen all four of the vets on the team throughout the years and can say they're all amazing! And most frequently see Dr. Vinge who is wonderful! Special shoutout to her vet tech, Grace, who is a lovely ray of sunshine, one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and takes great care of our dog! The office is very good about communication- answering calls, replying to emails, keeping up with check-ins for after service care. Very good about appointments as well; rescheduling, squeezing us in, moving appointments around to accommodate schedule, etc. The office itself is very nice and has a homey feel, with a community chalk board, 'meet the staff' and compliment wall, and an office pet as well! They approached the " patient "with so much patience and caring. They took much time to explain the problem and what to do about it. The fee, including the medications was nominal. All in all, A very positive visit. We can highly recommend them., and if we need help with our pets, will ONLY COME HERE. We had the worst time at a place on 207. There supposed to be a veterinary hospital that takes a different approach to deal with difficult pet's. I didn't understand that they couldn't even do nails or shots unless the dog was heavily sedated. So I spent 75 dollars for them to do nothing and anther 45 dollars for meds I wont give him just to have shots and a nail trim. These vets charge some much and do very little. I dont know why they get paid when they do absolutely nothing. Very disappointed with this place and wont return. He didn't even end up getting shots or his nails done at all. I refuse to have to drug up my dog to have him treated for shots and a nail trim. Then they didn't even refund any part of the visit. Unbelievable
