This is one of the best clinicians I've ever been to. The office is impeccably clean, even before Covid. They are kind, helpful, organized, they always get scheduled in quickly for appts. Though I have been reticent to visit some clinicians during Covid, this office feels incredibly safe with very strict protocols. Everyone on their staff is great- from the schedulers and check in, the techs and the doc. Very thorough, and always willing offer new a variety of treatments (weighing out pros/cons, Rx pricing etc). They even called another specialist to get me scheduled "just in case" I needed it. Honestly one of the best Docs in Tucson. I always feel like they're treating me like I was a family member, not just one of many patients. I refer them whenever possible. Took my 82 year old father to SAO after he had been to 2 other ophthalmologists without getting a conclusive diagnosis as to why his eyesight was failing. In fact, he had been told that it was "most likely" macular degeneration and he should prepare for the worst outcome. It felt more like a shoulder shrug than medical care. At SAO we were greeted by a professional and warm staff. Dr. Teeple was kind, knowledgeable and proficient. He gave our dad a diagnosis backed by test results. I have been a patient of Dr. Teeple since he first opened his ophthalmology business in Tucson several years ago. And even though I have to drive for an hour to reach his office, it is totally worth it. Dr. Teeple is friendly, personable, competent, and knowledgeable. Dr. Teeple and his staff are courteous and efficient. He has invested in up-to-date equipment, which is reassuring since I need early detection of the eye diseases that are common in the elderly. I have not been checked for correction but I wouldn't hesitate if I needed that. Another reviewer mentioned that the location is hard to access from eastbound Grant. I'm retired so that's not a problem for me - I don't schedule an appointment during the rush hour. Glenn eastbound to Sahuara would be the best way to avoid a u-turn if you don't have that option. read more

The service was professional and consistent. Dr. Steeple was very direct and covered all bases. Not to mention observant on his patients. His recollection of my past appointment four years ago was quite comforting to know that he is concerned about his patients and their well being. He was direct and explained to me the final result of his exam to were I understood what was wrong, giving advice on what steps I need to take to resolve my problem. 3rd time visiting Dr Teeple and his awesome staff. Very cordial. This time around I've been having more floaters and getting more migraines in the last 2 months. Was worried I was heading toward retinal detachment in the right eye. Dr Teeple could see the floaters and said I'm very close to 20/20 vision, no problems with retina, which I was a little sad to hear, want the retinal bridge performed so I could start my journey to becoming a cyborg, lol. read more

Was seen by Dr Teeple in 2018 and through their Optos machine found a couple ruptured vessels around both eyes. Probably caused with high bp when having abscessed teeth problems. One with bp in ER 282/202. This time, new eye exam for glasses with the very nice tech and then Dr Teeple examining and finding no changes. read more

Dr Teeple has been caring for my eyes for years. He took care of my cataracts and does my annual check up for new eye scripts. I would definitely hate to have to replace his expertise. This practice is tip top. Thorough exams that include refractions for glasses, if needed. Thorough screenings, so important to persons 60 plus, like me. Friendly and attentive staff all around. I ended up needing retinal surgery, and they referred me to an excellent surgeon. Highly recommended. read more
