We used their private room for a board meeting of 40 people

We had a party of 40 for a board meeting and appreciation dinner. The waitress was very expedient of getting all of our food out. She was very pleasant and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food and we stuck to a good schedule because of the good planning of the restaurant.

Had dinner here this evening. We ordered the half rack of ribs and I was told they were very good. I had the pulled pork platter was up to par, I like that they give you cinnamon butter for the sweet potato (also used the cinnamon butter for my corn bread). This is a typical southern barbecue place nothing fancy, just clean and homey. The service was friendly, very good and prompt. I definitely will return in the future.

I didn't know what to expect when my parents came home with food from here, but I went all in and it was delicious! The ribs were seasoned and cooked to perfection! I also enjoyed my Mac and cheese as well as my coleslaw! So good and I finished everything, also don't forget to get sweet tea and lemonade! I love to combine it and make an Arnold Palmer! Can't wait to have this again!

A buddy selected Southern Pig to meet up on a Friday night. I got there first and selected a table. The wait staff seemed a bit unsure who was supposed to take care of us, but Katie eventually came over and was so kind and friendly. The food was just alright, nothing special. I ordered the turkey with cole slaw, green beans, and cornbread. The turkey seemed like sliced deli turkey and was pretty salty. Surprisingly, the green beans were very good! This restaurant has an 80's or 90's vibe and does not strive to be hip or modern. Nothing special, but a good dinner.

Service was excellent, and dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were accommodated with advance notice. This would be a great spot for an anniversary dinner or other special occasion. Everything my family ordered was excellent, from the dense, moist loaf of walnut sourdough to the wahoo entree. Each entree is served on a thick wooden cutting board with an artful array of garnishes for maximal flavor and textures. My vegetarian board was "chefs choice" (you get what you get, no requests or options possible) and it was excellent! It basically had all the fun garnishes and veg components of the other entrees plus whole roasted sweet potato. It was so nice that the veggie board wasn't an afterthought - it had the same level of intention and detail as the regular menu items.

A Meal So Good Heaven Might Ask About It…read more Some dinners fill you up. Some dinners impress you. And then there are dinners like the one we had at Chef's Table in Stuart--the kind of meal that feels like it was designed by someone who understands that food is more than nourishment... it's memory. We went to celebrate my son's birthday, and before the first bite even arrived, the experience had already begun. The menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and his name, a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. It felt personal, intentional--like the night had been prepared just for him. And then the food arrived. I ordered the Bolognese, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the kind of dish you quietly pause for after the first bite. Rich, layered, perfectly balanced--every strand of pasta coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering since the Renaissance. Comforting but refined. Rustic but elegant. It was the sort of plate where conversation stops for a moment because everyone is too busy appreciating what's happening. Across the table, the beef Wellington was a masterpiece. Perfectly pink at the center, wrapped in golden pastry that shattered delicately with each cut, surrounded by a sauce so good it deserved its own applause. The entire meal felt like one of those rare experiences where craft, hospitality, and atmosphere align perfectly. The lighting, the pacing of the courses, the warmth of the service--it all made the night feel like something special was unfolding. If someone told me this would be my last meal on Earth, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd probably smile knowing that when I got to the gates, the angels might lean over and ask: "Wait... was it really as good as they say?" And I'd tell them the truth. Yes. It absolutely was. Thank you to the team at Chef's Table for giving my son a birthday dinner we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

They have that rich, buttery style of steak that we personally love cooked perfectly and served hot and fresh. The sides were just as impressive everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Steakhouse Peter's…read moreis one of those places that has been on my radar for a while now, so we finally had the opportunity to give them a try. There are a lot of reviews out there as this place has been in business a long time. You have to be doing something right in my opinion and well, they are good and they are meh - depends on your expectations I suppose. The story goes that Peter used to work at Peter Lugers in NYC - the holy grail of US Steakhouses. Does working at the best steakhouse in the US qualify you in any way to run a steakhouse? Not sure. But there were definitely things at Peter's that were spot-on as compared to Lugers. The place is set off the beaten path in Jensen Beach. Sort of a tropical vibe looking building and the decor inside is somewhat dated and hard to describe - beachy / Ocktoberfest is maybe the best way to put it. The staff consisted of three ladies the night we were there (a Saturday) and like that Meatloaf song goes, two our of three ain't bad. Two were just super friendly and personable - the third one just looked miserable. They all hit our table at one point or another during the evening and #3 just was not there mentally. she wasn't rude or anything - just blah. We got started with a nice glass of wine - the wine list is decent - not overly pretentious and there is something there for every price point. The menu is steakhouse standard with a few German dishes tossed in there - fine by me. Those are very complimentary cuisines. We started off with the escargot and the "Peter's special salad". Escargot came out swimming in a garlic sauce on top of a flaky pastry - a new spin on an old classic and it had enough garlic to lower you blood pressure like 50 points - outstanding. Salad was large and was enough for the both of us to work with. I went with the Porterhouse for two (med-rare), with sauteed mushrooms and Peter's hash browns. Steak was cooked perfectly and presentation was wonderful. The Hash browns were also a hit but the sauteed mushrooms lacked any flavor- I expected something a lot more sauteed looking - deep, dark in color and these were just meh. The meat is the star here and these steaks definitely hit the mark in terms of flavor and tenderness. All in all a very good night out. Prices were steakhouse specific and they offer valet parking. The crowd is older and the one they they did not have was a free standing bar- that is sort of a missed opportunity in my opinion, and a massive crowd generator in steakhouses in the north. Definitely give it shot if looking or a really good steak - those are exceedingly hard to come by on the Treasure coast. Valet parking in their lot, or park in downtown Jensen and stroll over.

One person in our party, ordered a side salad which wasn't delivered, it was questioned on where it was, we were told it was coming out with the main entrée. The steak was not cooked as requested. Yet everyone else's food was correctly cooked. I'm not sure why it took three hours, but that's how long we were there. After traveling all day it made for even longer day. There's a 16% service charge that automatically added your bill yet the hostess stated when she was seating us that they don't receive tips... not sure why she shared that. It was mentioned to management what occurred and our meals were discounted. I can appreciate management, especially when they want to right a wrong. We requested for our dessert to be boxed to go and we requested tiramisu only. It was later learned blueberry cheesecake is what we received. If you enjoy a loud environment, a long dinner at expensive prices this is the place for you. Took forever once seated to get food or any type of service. Eventually went to the bar to get a refill of drinks along with others in our crew. The menu is an absolute joke as there is a lot of fill on what they serve you but both my wife I chose the burger as it was the most likely to interpret what I'm ordering. One it came after about an 1 -1 1/2 hours the burger was ok and fry's looked like it was fried in old oil. They were cold and for the money it was not worth it. I think a Macdonald Big Mac would have tasted better at a fraction of the cost. $27 for a burger, cold fries and a small milk shake which I couldn't understand that addition. While sitting at the table I am getting dripped on by the AC duct as that portion is in front of the door opening and with humid air coming in hitting that cold duct it was condensation and dripping on the patrons. In this case me. The server was terrible in my opinion and didn't really cater to many of our needs but the restaurant feels obligated to charge 20% gratuities of 6 people or more. Now I understand that concept as foreign people don't tip like in their country or none at all but that is where the problem is. If a server is good or bad they still are get their tip and in this case there was no incentive for good service. If I am paying $27 for a burger and fries that server better attend to my needs quickly and efficiently. Not sure if I ever will return to this restaurant as it left a bad taste. I usually go by the baseball rule 1 2 3 strikes your out but what brought me over to 3 strikes is the stupid menu and pricing. I think I will make my own dinner at home and bring it to the causeway for a better view and cheaper food and much better food.
