Food wasn't good at all. Ordered brisket and turkey. I think I got sliced deli meat for the turkey. They charged extra for brisket, but it was shaved so think you could almost see through it. Mac and cheese was straight from a can. Maybe if you've never had bbq before this would be ok... but it was way over priced and just not good at all. Giving 2 stars for two reasons. 1. The garlic bread seemed to be the only thing made in house and it was good. 2. The table bussers were hard working and very friendly. read more

First timer! I have to say this is the best BBQ I've found here since I moved from Southern Cali. I've been disappointed at every other restaurant. The server was slow. Like really slow, 15 mins to bring the drink order.... which was water. But food was phenomenal and the salad bar was, fetch! (Stop trying time make fetch happen! Ha!) but really, so so food. Coming in it just feels like a kiddy playground It's a buffet/restaurant feeling but atmosphere is great table is sticky feels a bit weird I got the barbecue burger the second one I tried the Mac and cheese first disappointed watery cheese which means usually just added water and heated up and really had just a bland taste fairly boring for Mac and cheese burger was REALLY tall I can mainly only taste the bbq pulled pork on top of the onion ring can't taste the burger and definitely dosent have the taste of greasy and juicy too many onions Atleast 7 stacked on top I'm eating a burger not a salad had to take them off they taste very organic our food came out around 10 minutes great server best part is they give free ice cream which is the best thing I ate here also the sweet tea was done perfect no complaints about it it comes in a giant cup literally thank you I'm gonna take this experience as a lesson that if you go to a BBQ place don't expect a burger to be made hopefully they can do better in the future (This was written in chronological order of my experience) read more

First time visiting this place. Great, delicious food!!! We ordered 4 full racks of Baby Back Ribs and they were delish!! Fall off the bone, finger licking good!!! They each came with two sides and a choice of garlic bread. We asked for sweet potatoes, fries, corn on the cob and mac and cheese. All were really good. The mac and cheese could be cheesier. It was a bit light on flavor but otherwise ok. All the food was low on salt which is nice to have the option to add to taste. Will definitely be back for more! The service was great! How many times can you eat BBQ in a week? The answer is " as many times as you possibly can" At least that is the answer if you are taking out from the southern pig and cattle. The food is great. The sauce is a tangy Smokey sauce that isn't to heavy on the sweet. Their meat is cooked incredibly well. We really enjoy the chicken and of course the pulled pork. I have prefer the prime rib sandwich but as of yet have I achieved the goal of getting it. They have been out of prime rib and have eaten the brisket which is very good, but wish I could my eatery into that prime rib. The sides are good but that is where it falls apart with take out. The fries are ok and the onion rings are good. The okra is soggy when we get home and the corn was drowned in water, like is was boiled for the entire time the brisket was smoking. We decided to try something new . This place reminds me of PoBoys when it was open.It smelled really good coming in . The atmosphere was more like a cafeteria with booths . They have an all you can eat salad bar and ice cream machine . We had the corn nuggets they were awesome . I got the half Bbq chicken all white meat, It was served stone cold . Jean got the brisket also cold. The brisket had good flavor but my chicken was very dry . The sides were the best served hot I got the greens and Mac n cheese jean got the BBQ beans and macaroni salad. I really liked the macaroni salad they used real mayonnaise. My husband and I agree. Best BBQ we have been to even before the time of Covid! We had smoked chicken, baby backs and brisket. Salad bar was fresh and I loved the coleslaw after I added an extra squeeze of lemon. Even the chicken breast on the bone was moist. And that is not easy to do. Price was right. I rated a 1 only because there were no negative numbers to select from. You know that picture of the ice cream cone on the website? Well, if you're there for takeout, and you attempt to take some ice cream with you, you will be embarrassingly reprimanded for the 30 cents worth of ice cream even though it is advertised that ice cream comes free with the meal. Apparently that only applies, though I can't imagine why, if you dine in. Even after spending a huge amount on a very mediocre meal, ice cream is an absolute no no. My daughter n son-in-laws ribs were only fair, son-in-law joked they probably came off a Pot Belly Pig. This photo is what they served for an $8.00 kids meal of Mac n Cheese. It's the size of a small cafeteria side dish bowl. Finally got the kid to eat something besides a Hot Dog n Fries and this is the Entree size. Also, don't get any Potato side dishes as they DON"T have any butter in the restaurant. They gave me processed crap Canola Oil spread, a different brand than what they served w/ the piece of Texas Toast on your entree. This place was unexpected in many ways. First- this place is huge! I mean where are they hiding all this space from the outside?? Eats- we decided on the meal for 4. I mean who wouldn't take advantage of this meal? Pork, chicken, brisket, ribs corn, garlic bread/corn bread, 4 sides, and 4 sodas for $45???? Pulled pork was finely shredded and moist- my husbands favorite Brisket was very moist and flavorful. I typically hate brisket but this was delicious Ribs are pork so they don't fall off the bone. They tasted good but the meat was rather tough The chicken was the only thing I didn't like. Smoked meat just doesn't do it for me (or anyone else I was with) Mac n cheese tastes like it's out of a box and wish it was more "homemade". Potato salad was decent. Both breads were really tasty. Went in for a meal at about 2:30pm, Sunday 12/12/2021. My server was Michelle T. She was horrible. The two other servers began to take care of me. When I asked if others had problems with Michelle they said yes, but she was the restaurant mgr. Once Michelle realized the two other servers were getting my beverage refills she became rude and nasty. I asked her to simply leave me alone. When I left I gave the two other servers $4.00 each. It's good to come here once a year and there is a good reason why I say that. Their best meats are the catfish, chopped steak, and bbq ribs. They have four types of sauces; sweet, mild, spicy, and pulled pork. My personal favorite is sweet but that is a biased opinion because I have a sweet tooth. The salad bar doesn't have any plates for you to grab. Your server will give you clean ones and trust me, the plates are freezing cold! The bar has fresh mixed greens and vegetables, fruits, sweet beets, and sprouts. The Southern sweet tea is very sweet and served with ice and lemon. But they do offer regular tea, coffee and other alcoholic beverages. The soup is not pleasant since it made me feel I was eating a spoonful of salt but if you like saltiness, then soup will be delightful for you. The decoration throughout the restaurant is very southern-theme and well-oriented. The staff and service were friendly, patient and honest. We came here to celebrate my roommate's 69th birthday and towards the end of our meal, the entire serving staff came or in a single file line, clapping their hands as they walked up to our table. The food was really good. Their mac and cheese isn't very flavorful but it was still pretty good. My husband liked his potato salad and it was the kind with eggs in it I think because it was yellowish. I had a small bite and it was very tasty. My pulled pork was very good and not fatty or too greasy. My baked potato was perfectly cooked. For $4.99 you can have unlimited soup and salad bar and they have free vanilla soft serve, serve yourself ice cream. All in all it was pretty good food for a decent price. Was recently craving GOOD BBQ and that's exactly what we got when we came here. It's a self-seating environment, casual, and busy with all sorts of people! I was going to go for the salad bar & soups but I thought the selection was slightly limited (ok though, this is indeed a BBQ joint anyways)....so I opted for a meal. We ordered the Southern Pig Bar-B-Q Burger and the Cattle Rancher Burger, both with cheese and bacon fix-ins added on. OH MY LANTA!! I was drooling prior to the meal and ate EVERY BITE! YUMMM!! My boyfriend gobbled his food up as well. Served with fries, you better believe we rolled out of there happy as can be. Definitely recommend the burgers. Best part? UNLIMITED soft serve. At any time.
