    I purchased a washing machine from Home Depot. Spent more than $1200. Now, I freaking HATE…read moreWhirlpool/Maytag! So in 2.5 years my washing machine died. Home Depot said there was nothing they could do and that I would need to contact the company directly. Called said it would be over $500 to fix or I could get a warranty for $400 and they'd cover it getting fixed and a warranty for 3 years. I went with the #Warranty option. However, the people that they scheduled to come never showed up and then rescheduled it for a week later, when I called and complained, there was nothing they could do. I asked for it to be escalated because my clothes were trapped in dirty water in the washing machine. I called a person on my own and had them come out. A technician was able to open it and get my clothes out. And also tell me what the problem was, a broken motherboard. I called the #Warranty people again and ask for additional assistance as for escalation there was nothing they could do. Second timeframe came for the company to come out and they no showed. When I called the #Warranty company there was nothing they could do. I had to call the third-party again. I complained and said they could go ahead and cancel the #Warranty because they weren't doing anything for me. If they couldn't get somebody out there they said somebody would come out this Thursday. We are now going over a month of no washing machine. Hence me having to spend money and gas and laundromat fees. Last night I get a text that says they have extended my appointment out an additional week and will not be here today. I tried calling the warranty company and they no longer have me under warranty. So even if the company would have showed up today, I would have ended up having to pay because now they've canceled my #Warranty. This is the shittiest thing I've ever experienced. It is so sketchy. So I get home today and there's boxes on my porch. Guess what just happened to show up the damn broken motherboard and some other piece that I don't even know what it is.

    Oh my goodness... I purchased my furniture in full February 23, 2015 (the money was completely…read moredebited from my account on the 24th) with a scheduled delivery date of the 24th of February (next day delivery). But lo and behold, February 24th gets here, and I receive a phone call (late in the evening) indicating my furniture wasn't ready, and to help me avoid having to pay separate delivery costs, I'd receive another call when my furniture set was complete. Expecting my wait time to only be a week or 2 counting snow and ice days, I didn't have a severe issue with it not being ready. It was just a little annoying that no one thought the situation through while I was at the store and asked for next day delivery. Being a new customer and how they readily accepted my choice of delivery date, I figured everything was already in stock at the warehouse..... But, long story short, for the next MONTH, I'd receive a random phone call with news of my furniture not being ready, and here it is APRIL 3, 2015, and I STILL HAVEN'T received my furniture! I haven't even received my weekly phone call yet! I've ordered merchandise from China that have gotten here quicker! It's as if AF has to manually design and custom build each piece of my furniture set instead of simply ordering and having it delivered! I must say I'm utterly flabbergasted at the time I've had to wait. This is absolutely ridiculous. I think the next place I should pay a visit to is NavyFed so I can be issued a refund. Hopefully, that won't take another MONTH.
