Dr Bustamante is very questionable as a dr...He has the rest of my specialist confused he keeps giving me medication for lupus even though he says I dont have it and when my other Dr's hear about it they get very confused because that prescription causes alot of side effects like loss of eyesight. The Dr also has a very close personal relationship with the front office and thus gives them the privilege to be extra rude to the patients that front office girls have the worse attitude I've ever experienced that they literally get me out of my element!!!! When you call the office, you're told they only accept payment in person. But even in person, they can't provide a detailed invoice. If you ask to speak to someone in billing, you're told she works from home and doesn't take calls. Seriously? And be careful!!!!!! -- I was hit with "surprise billing" later on when the office manager was actually able to provide me with a screenshot of a statement. Made an appointment with Daisy out of the San Bernardino office for a Friend. The woman is sick and has Leukemia. She may have an Autoimmune disorder as well. I would give them zero stars if possible!! She tried to schedule my Friend with a Dr. Song. I stated we both knew Dr. Keith Colburn. Therefore, we would like to schedule with him. Please keep in mind this was July 2023, for an appointment October 25, 2023. I felt things did not seem right, I requested a confirmation, but was denied. Two weeks before the scheduled visit with Dr. Keith, they called and stated it was with Dr. Song at a different time. Daisy lied about the appointment, and did what she intended to do. Cost my friend 4 1/2 months. Stay away from them. Their office staff lies to patients who are sick. Hope they get theirs soon!! read more

Disgusting. I called the other day to ask this office if they were taking new patients and told them which insurance I had. I called my primary care doctor, who does not handle referrals for patients, to ask them to send the referral. Southland had told me to call back today and not only had they lost the referral only today did they inform me that they did not take my insurance! Absolute failure. How dare these office workers manage to be this level of incompetent? When you ask which insurance, it is then that you inform the person whether or not you take it. I've been seen by a couple of the doctors here at the Southland Arthritis Group. I have been pretty happy them so far. I usually see Dr Travedi and she has really gone above and beyond for me! As I'm sure she does for all of her patients. If she is ever stumped about a situation she always works hard too find a solution to that problem or issue. Dr. Angel Bustamante has been a pleasant doctor and I have had a good experience with him. This review is not for him , but for his staff. There is one staff member in particular that is extremely rude. She has no business working in that office. Every time I go to the office she is rude to me for no reason. Something should really be done about this as if you look at reviews regarding the office everyone seems to comments about the same individual. Even though I am happy with the doctor I am considering changing offices just so I don't have to deal with HER. Medical office management needs to do better, and make sure that their staff is treating their patience with respect and kindness. The doctor gets 5 stars first of all, Dr. Trevidi is great! But the front office staff is ridiculous, rude, not compassionate at all! So unprofessional!! Told my infusion company I'm no longer a patient when I'm no longer seeing the second opinion doctor. Instead of actually looking at my chart they just read one part and said I'm no longer there. Anytime I call in they have attitudes when you go in they're too busy talking and laughing to help anyone. Don't understand how you work in healthcare with such an ugly attitude! I don't have an issue with the Dr I had seen before but the girls that answer the phone are very rude and unprofessional. I needed to be seen due to pain I am now having and got a young woman who was just short, unprofessional, and snotty to say the least. I have No doubt she is the 1 others are complaining about on the reviews. I remember this from the past but I let it slide. I called another number thinking they had different appointments for different offices but the phone nbr is the same for all offices so I ended up speaking to the same office again with another young lady who wasn't much better. Why would a Doctors office have anyone answer the phone for them that is not friendly, kind or courteous. Simply put just rude. This 2nd person I was told is a new hire like that should matter on how you talk to patients. I was told that the 1st person was DAISY and the 2nd is Mary after I requested a supervisor because of the negative vibe these 2 gave . I can't even put into words how unbelievably rude the appointment staff is. I never got her name. She has Hispanic accent. I waz given a referral on 10/12/22 to see Dr. Trivedi. I have tried more times than I can count to make an appointment. I have called more times than I can count trying to schedule an appointment. This girl came up with excuse after excuse why she couldn't schedule my appointment. Mostly stating she didn't have my referral even though my Dr faxed it there. I found my copy of the referral today and called and asked to email it. She said I could fax it. I told her I don't have a fax machine. Because it's 2022 and no one sends fax anymore. I then asked for the address because I was going to personally drive it  from Rancho to Riverside so I cam finally make an appt. Which she abruptly stopped me and said don't bother because they dont have any appts available until end of January to the end of February!?!?! What the actual? So this is how you treat sick people that need to be seen? Umm no thanks. I can't say how the Dr was because I couldn't get past the appointment gatekeeper. I've been holding back the tears. I went to Dr. Natalia Chavez for a second opinion, she gave me an incomplete order for the lab, I called several time spoke to Maria also with Ashley so they can correct my order for the lab and neither of them were not able to deliver that. They are very unprofessional no clue what are they doing all they want is to keep your money. They do not care for their patients. I have a PPO insurance and they telling me I need authorization they not trained well enough to even understand how Insurance works. Complete disappointment and waisted of time. read more
