He went by and gave me a quote of 695 dollars to fix it. Said I had to pay in advance because he had to buy parts and there is no refund. So I paid him and when we initially talked he said about 2 weeks parts will be in and we'd be in touch. 2 weeks I reach out he said he hadn't heard anything yet. Month goes by I again reach out again says only half the parts have came in but he will check. 6 weeks goes by I reach out, just waiting on 1 valve he says. Then he ghosts me for months at a time says "I'm on vacation I'll check when I get back" 78 days after I paid him he says "Yes, I will be refunding your money back. Because I checked with the warehouse and they ordered the wrong parts. I apologize for all the delay in hassle you had to go through." I have requested through Venmo from him multiple times with no response. That was 14 days ago and he hasn't responded to any of my text. I have been very respectful and just want my money back for services not rendered.

Even better, he came fully prepared with the tools and the replacement part needed, so he was able to fix the dryer on the spot. You can really tell he takes pride in his work with great attention to detail, and he even shared some helpful maintenance tips for the future. Best of all, the dryer was fixed the same day, and reassembled properly this time, with no "extra" screws left behind. Fair pricing, friendly service, and high-quality work. They do accept credit cards, but recommend cash or check to avoid a 3% fee (which gave me a reason to dust off my checkbook). I reached out to Speedway Appliance Services in Speedway, IN. They said they could come out that night (Awesome right??). The repairman (Albert) comes out, but he has to consult with the owner, Alan. They determine the pumps are bad, and they need to order the new parts (this was Thursday), the parts would take a couple days, they should be here Monday or maybe Tuesday (that's fine). Monday I reach out via txt, asking him if it would be fixed today, Alan txt back telling me no the part didn't come in, it should be tomorrow (ok, no problem). We had birds make a nest in our dryer vent and the "clogged duct" sensor was going off on our…read moredryer. I called several places and everywhere seemed to have a 2 week wait. I finally found Kevin and he was able to come out the following Monday (I called on a Friday afternoon). He cleaned the dryer vent, my lint trap, and even cleaned up all the lint from the laundry room floor! He even installed a new guard on the exterior of the house that will no longer allow birds to get into the vent. If you need help with your dryer of ducts, call Kevin!!
