It can feel weird to have someone inside your home, looking at every room (as is needed for a consultation), but upon talking to Chuck on the phone and meeting him in person, we instantly felt at ease. He's honest, great at explaining his recommendations, and most importantly, never pressured us into making a decision we weren't ready for. Ironically, that is what led us to signing a contract with him on the spot. What also made us feel more comfortable was knowing that it would be either Chuck or his son, Carlos, handling the install. Carlos was very respectful when he was installing the roller shades and proactively asked whether we were happy with them. Even when I asked Chuck about the valances, he came by to check them himself the same day. We're super happy with the service and also the quality of the roller shades we got and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone.

THANKFULLY THOUGH, I was referred to this business from my Lash Girl, Tatiana (shoutout!). Originally I got a quote from a diff business- they told me close to $12k. I thought to myself that that had to be insane.... So i did myself a service by fetching a second quote and i'm so glad that i reached out to Drill N Hang. Not only was it MORE THAN HALF off my original quote, but the quality even is amazing that hey maybe THIS job could pass for the $12k price tag The two guys that came over to install were EFFICIENT- in and out in practically like an hour or so. Seamless execution and i'm pleased. The shades were beautiful and turned out better than i expected and i'm so happy i went with Drill N Hang. *** A little bonus- I had a few weeks to wait for the shipment of blinds to come in, Bannion was so kind to even take measurements for me to shop for my own curtains + rod (at least for temporary privacy in my bedroom!) He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. He was even able to refer me to someone to get the doors painted and that person did an awesome job as well. We have a specialty window over our kitchen sink, a garden window that came with the house and is…read morevery old (1990's). Was quoted by a different company $4,500 to replace it and that price was unacceptable as it cost me $8,200 to replace all my other windows including a new sliding patio door recently. So I found this company who was able to replace parts of it and save me a lot of money. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass. Marlo installed the new low e double pane glass and I now have a window that is in much better condition, clean, and way more efficient. Thanks Cut Rate & Marlo

This has been an okay, yet a little disappointing experience with positive resolve in the end…read more Having seen the other reviews on this company, I had higher expectations that things would be customer focused and efficient. I called on a Friday night close to closing time to see if I could schedule with them to get an estimate on some window solar screens. Ben wound up calling me back to let me know he can come by on Monday morning to get me an estimate. He came on time at 9am to get measurements and provided me a quote thereafter. That initial meeting was the only pleasant part of this experience because the communication after I made the half payment was horrid. Ben mentioned that he would be in another country on a trip the following day after the estimate was provided, but let me know that in two weeks the product will be ready and installed. Two weeks passed and I never received any follow up regarding our install. I also never received the digital receipt and invoice I was told I would get for the payment I made so I made sure to keep the text confirmation to him directly along with my payment detail on my end. I followed up with the company and called three times to speak with someone regarding my installation and product. I received no call back all day and called again the day after. This was when two weeks had already passed. I texted them on their business text line thereafter when I received no follow up. I had to text them twice for me to hear back from Juan (JD) who explained that he was in charge of things while Ben was out of the office in Indonesia. When I expressed my frustration with the fact that no one has contacted me regarding the product and installation, he said "do you want me to help you out or not?" That response was incredibly not empathetic because I was expressing my frustration that it took me asking them 5 different times regarding the service to get any feedback. He connected me with Caesar who was the one doing the installation. Caesar contacted me saying that he would be at my house Thursday to do the install. Thursday, he calls me again to say the product will be in after 330pm so he will have to move the installation to Friday. Caesar said he would be at my home by 9am, but no communication at all till after I called and texted after 910am to receive a text from him saying he will be 30 minutes late. Despite the lapse in communication, Caesar and Miguel both made the ending result of this experience better. They were both polite and took their time to make sure everything was aligned. Both of them deserve 5 stars alone. Aside Caesar and Miguel, communication has honestly been quite bad with this company and the way it was handled when I followed up was quite rude and lacked empathy for the frustration. No client should ideally have to contact the company various times to be acknowledged for the job to follow through. Price for everything was fair, I just wished the customer service was better. Currently, still waiting for an invoice record since the company has not provided that after I tried to call again multiple times to make final payment. I know with travel and everything factored that it wasn't all one person's fault for the horrible communication, but the service just wasn't what I expected because Ben seemed to really care when I met him for the initial estimate. I understand delays, but I had to re-explain the project to Juan (JD) and Caesar because Juan (JD) didn't even know who I was and addressed me as another client named Camila. The whole process after initial estimate was a headache because the staff wasn't prepared and had I not called or texted to follow up multiple times, my project would have been even more delayed. Juan made "promises," he didn't intend to keep because Gina from the office line called saying he never intended to send over the invoice today and that Ben would be the one sending over my warranty and invoice info. Not a great impression of the company as a whole and I am still waiting for the invoice and warranty details. In the end, however, I have to say Ben is trustworthy for his product quality and escalation service. He contacted me as soon as he touched down and provided me with what his staff could not. I know things fell in the communication pipeline when he was away, but I appreciated his urgency to fix the issue.

The quote was done on the spot, with a rough ETA of when it would be installed. He and Breanne kept me in the loop while the shutters were manufactured, and set an installation date that worked best for me. Antonio then went ahead and removed the old blinds and installed the new shutters in record time while still being considerate and doing an amazing job. While looking at pricing I also compared Costco and Ryan was able to beat them AND offer a better product, which is amazing.

They were always on time and provided professional work. Ryan who is the owner of the company shows up and takes precision measurements. After the shades are delivered Antonia installs the shades with Ryan. After they were installed, Antonio was very patient in setting up the app on the cell and programming the remote control. I would highly recommend them for any window treatments.

They have THEIR OWN CREW, therefore they do not sub out work. The crew was courteous and quiet and let us know what they were working on every step. There was a tiny problem and a small problem but both were taken care of very quickly. Their clean up was excellent and we recommend them 100%. We chose a simple clean design and it has greatly reduced the amount of light and heat coming in. I am glad we left two high south facing windows uncovered as there is no overhead light in that room.
