Zach and his crew stopped by to install motorized curtains and a room darkening shade in my den. The guys took their time and installed the rails and all the pieces carefully. They did a great job! I really love how much cooler the den feels and how fancy the curtains look! I'm so glad Scott helped me choose the right products for my home, especially with dogs. The curtains are individual pieces that clip in and if I need a replacement, I just call the office for them to order and install only the needed parts rather than an entire new curtain. We used Budget Blinds about a year ago to replace the covering on our sliding glass door, and that experience was excellent. The representative we worked with (who I believe is no longer with the company) was knowledgeable, professional, and the product arrived and was installed much faster than expected. Everything looked great, so when we decided to replace the rest of the blinds downstairs, it seemed like an easy decision to use Budget Blinds again. Unfortunately, our second experience was completely different. At no point during the consultation was I told that there would be visible gaps between the edges of my windows and the blinds, allowing people to see into my home. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have purchased these blinds. It seems like a very important detail that should be disclosed before a customer spends thousands of dollars. When I contacted the company to discuss the issue, the solution offered was to install plastic bumper-like strips from the top of the window to the bottom to block the remaining exposed glass. Not only did this look cheap and tacky, but it was not at all what I expected after investing good money into custom window coverings. Trying to make the best of the situation, I decided to live with the privacy issue and instead requested service on one blind that was visibly hanging crooked. A technician came out today and told me there was nothing that could be done because my window is crooked, not the blind. While I understand that older homes can have imperfections, the previous blinds on that same window were not crooked. When I asked about possible solutions, I was told the only option would be to lower the blind, which would then leave a gap at the top and allow light to come through. Even the technician agreed that wasn't a good solution. In the end, I was simply told there was nothing they could do. It's disappointing because our first experience with Budget Blinds was outstanding, but our second experience left us feeling misled and unsupported. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company. We spent a significant amount of money and were left with blinds that don't fully cover our windows and a crooked installation that the company is unwilling to correct. After my last review, they finally reached out and scheduled a return visit. They charged me an additional $1000 from the original estimate because of their mistakes in calculating the size of the blinds. I paid in February. I didn't hear from them for over 2 months until I emailed them asking what was going on - they said they needed another month. 2 months later (June!) I emailed again asking for an update and they scheduled the installation for later that week. Unfortunately, everything they ordered was wrong. They ordered the wrong size motor and the wrong valences, so they couldn't install anything. They said they would get them corrected ASAP. It's now August (2 months later) and they haven't replied to my last 3 emails. No apology for the repeated errors, no apology for it being 12 months from my initial order still with issues and no update on timeline. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income. I invested over $2675 for 4 rooms of blinds for a 1049 square ft. condo that were installed on April 18, 2026. The installation was faulty to say the least. I should have mentioned that the first appointment for installation April 14th had to be rescheduled due to a technician issue. The installation was faulty to say the least. The dining room contained a sliding glass door. Every time I attempted to put the blinds up or down. the blinds would hit the handle on the sliding glass door. The salesman was aware of the handle...why was that not included in the initial consultation, the salesman was well aware the handle was there and would cause friction. The living room blinds were measured by the salesman but yet there was sun coming in on both sides of the blinds. When they came back to correct on May 11th I was told by Chris there was not much he could do. Apparently, there must have been something they could do because they removed the blinds and when they attempted to reinstall the blinds were difficult to maneuver. As I mentioned I am an older person with not much strength in my hands the installers were unable to repair the blinds In summary I feel that I was wrongfully treated and my age was ignored and they were not willing to accommodate me, rather they wanted me to spend another $250 to get a remote which they say cost $400 and that they were giving me a "discount" The results of the installation of these blinds is a good example of how senior citizens are being taking advantage of in the greater Las Vegas area. The entire procedure was extremely stress-free. We settled on some tailored colors that actually brightened the room and made it look more contemporary. The Budget Blinds representative that came out to give us a quote was excellent. Kainoa Gonzales arrived at my home on time and had no problem removing his shoes upon entering. He was so pleasant and helpful. He explained everything with all types of options. He was prepared with plenty of options for drapery. The only thing I didn't like was that it seemed as if Budget Blinds needed to update the style of their selections. Most options seemed old fashioned and really wasn't to my liking. However we managed to find something close to what we wanted. That option didn't come in the size that we needed but Kai was able to work something out to make it happen for us. He measured our windows/ patio doors and told us exactly where the draps would fall etc. After a couple of days Kai was able to send us a quote. I was very surprised with the quote. I had a very long and frustrating experience with Budget Blinds. While they offer a good product at a fair price, the communication from both sales and customer service was terrible. My order, which was originally supposed to take 6 weeks, ended up taking 6 months to fulfill due to five separate issues along the way. I was never given proactive updates by my salesperson and the office, and I had to call in multiple times myself. Each time a new problem came up, I was promised follow-ups within a certain timeframe that never happened. Every time I reached out, no one seemed to know what was going on with my order. MISTAKES HAPPEN -- WHAT MATTERS IS HOW THEY ARE HANDLED I hired Budget Blinds to install floor to ceiling motorized drapes in my master bedroom for about $12,000. They made mistakes in measuring the drapes that needed fixing. Any business can make a mistake. This review is about how they handled it. Essentially the drapes were measured wrong. They could not open fully and so when fully open the covered half of the windows. At first they denied there was a problem. Then they acknowledged the problem but said nothing could be done. Then they attempted a half measure -- lengthen the tracks but not the fabric. Totally didn't work. I wrote letters, I called, I emailed. I let them know if we couldn't work it out I would completely replace the drapes and come after them for damages. No response. i completely replaced the drapes and filed a small claims case seeking the full replacement cost. The court agreed with my complaint, found Budget Blinds had breached our contract, and awarded the full amount I asked for plus costs. Budget Blinds paid the judgment. I wish Budget Blinds had just owned up to the problem and fixed it. It would have cost them less and it would have saved me an enormous amount of time and effort getting new drapes and then filing my small claims case and appearing in court. My feeling is they were betting I would not follow through all the way to the end. It took almost two years to resolve and of course I had to pay twice and hope I could recover in court. I just do not believe a reputable business would handle a problem like this. read more

Fortunately, we only bought a few windows. We decided to try a different company and reached out to budget blinds. We wanted motorized shades. Ryan came by and we instantly hit it off with him. Friendly, personable, and knowledgeable in his products. We put in an order for 31 windows. I knew it would be expensive, the price we got was reasonable. They weren't quite able to get everything done the first day, he told me he would be back the next day at 3 PM, and true to his word he was. As if a 1-star review for their initial job wasn't bad enough, Budget Blinds has outdone themselves in the dishonest customer service department. After seeing my first review (posted July 18, 2023), the salesman who sold us these blinds reached out requesting to make it right. Fair enough. He comes to my house to take a look and agrees with me that the blinds had been measured incorrectly to begin with, which is why they won't close all the way. Additionally, the bozo who had installed them broke a piece of metal off where the rod connects so you can open/close the blinds. So the rod doesn't lay flat...it sticks out. Salesman tells me they are going to have new blinds made to the correct measurements, but am I okay with waiting two weeks for them to arrive? Sure, yes, I say. The blinds I have now suck, so yes, I will wait for you to fix your mistake. Today is Sept. 18, 2023, nearly TWO MONTHS after my first review. Guess what? No new blinds. No phone call. Nothing. These clowns are a bunch of shysters. I'll be going onto every review site I can find to share my experience and warn people NOT to do business with these buffoons. If you value your time, please do not go with this company. I liked our first meeting with James since he made us think of what we need in each room and recommeded things we didn't even think about however the pleasant experience ends there. We went with Lutron in some rooms and regular black out and non black out rollershades in some rooms. James assured us about the quality and the shade match with the other non Lutron blinds. The black out shades were from a different company other than Lutron and it took probably 5 appointments because everytime they would come in there would be holes or scratches on the blinds from packaging. Just with the damages from packaging, I know that these are not going to last. It's also hard to get a hold of them. I would like to say that the installers are very polite and professional, the product and sellers however are not. read more

I was very lucky when I bought my first house to have plantation shutters already have been installed by the previous owners. I knew this was an expensive upgrade, but I had no idea just how expensive. Fast forward a few years later, I was ready to upgrade and build a home for the first time. I met with him at their sales office a day or two later to get advice on which types of window coverings that I wanted, and everything was ordered that day. The pricing to the the entire house was surprisingly very reasonable. Honestly, I had budgeted that It was going to cost a bit more. About a month and a half later, I let Ryan know my closing date, and he assured me that he and his crew would be there to install my new plantation shutters. True to his word, I got the keys on a Monday night, and Ryan and his installers were at my door the very next morning, ready to help turn my new house into a home.
