I have used Southwest multiple times over the years and have always found them to do good work and have recommended them to friends. The last 2 vehicle alignments however have been less than satisfactory and I have had to return the vehicle and have it realigned a second time. In addition to losing my confidence in Southwest's ability to do a job right the first time, their customer service is also greatly lacking with long holds and poor communication. I will not be going back or recommending them going forward. read more

Too bad there isn't a 1/2 star or even less. Had a brake and alignment problem on my RV. This was the one shop I could find in San Antonio that would work on it. I should have looked harder. After paying almost $1,000.00, brakes not fixed but didn't discover that till in Gonzales LA. After arriving home in WV, I noticed something hanging down under my front bumper. It was the steering stabilizer, which they had charged me for a new bushing. Meaning they had to dismount and remount it. Obviously, they failed in the reassembly. Apparently, the ONLY thing that they did right was the alignment. Maybe. My recommendation, look for another shop. read more

I'm being nice in giving this place 2 stars. I took my car in for an alignment and the gentleman who serviced my vehicle informed me that my control arm had been damaged and needed to be replaced. Not only did he try to overcharge me for the part and service, but after I decided to purchase the part on my own, I was informed while dropping it off that he had given me inaccurate information. My control arm was repairable and he had told me to purchase the wrong part to begin with. Fast forward 3 weeks and I go into Honda for an oil change and behold, my alignment is STILL off. I called the company and was laughed at when I told them about my experience with Honda. "Well we only offer warranty for up to 10,000 miles." As if I had driven 10,000 miles in 3 weeks. I took my car back to be realigned and was told that Honda was just trying to get money out of me. Fast forward to now (updating review) I took my car into Honda because my tire pressure light was on, once again, they told me my alignment was off and that my tire was being worn down because of it. I won't be returning and do not recommend this place at all. When I took my car to them to show the damage and get it aligned again because it was still under warranty, I was advised to "Turn the tire around" so the damaged part would be on the outside. I have to pay for a new tire because of this bad alignment and there were no offers to remedy the damage they caused. Cheaper is not always better. Find somewhere else. read more

Brought my truck here to get an alignment after I replaced the front tie rods and stabilizer, once I got my truck back I experienced the most brutal death wobble, went back and they were insinuating that removed it and came back to blame them, when they removed it they put it in my back seat and no one told me they removed it, once I showed, back up they immediately knew where the stabilizer was. Then went to the guy that did the alignment and he said he removed it because it was the "wrong one". When in fact is was NOT. Telling me that the truck needs two stabilizer or else it Is will push the truck to one side, INCORRECT. Almost every straight axle truck comes from factory with one stabilizer shock. Guy proceeded to call me a fool and say this is stupid. I've worked in shops my whole life and have been an alignment guy myself now working in heavy equipment. I'm not saying he doesn't know what he's doing but I'm this situation he had no clue. Whoever did my tire truing and balance did a great job though. Kudos to whoever did that part. Extremely disrespectful and not open minded to not trying to understated. Once stabilizer was put back on the truck went straight and true down the road and no complaints now. But getting to the point of satisfaction was a hassle. Fuck this place read more

My Girlfriend's brakes were making noise so she took her car to Firestone in Temple where she lives. they told her she needed $1000 worth of work on her brakes. I asked her to bring it down here to San Antonio so we could have Southwest Bake and Alignment take a look at it. After about 20 min Ted called and quoted us $248 and said it would be done at 3pm. At ten minutes to 2pm Ted called me back again and said the car was ready. I will always be thankful to the guys over at Southwest Brake and Alignment for being honest fast and good at their job, they have a costumer for life. read more

They did a good job inspecting the front end of my truck and just charge me 1/3 since it was in alignment. Nice folks and treat you right.
