This was my first time at this establishment and unfortunately, I have to leave a not so positive review. I ordered the taco plate and asked for double beans and NO rice (dietary restrictions) I repeated the order and the young lady repeated it back to me. It was correct on the screen but sadly when I got back to work and opened the container... yup you guessed it, double rice and no beans at all. The tacos were just okay. I had the carne asada. I am sorry that this will be my one and only visit to this establishment. 12-29-25 1:15pm

SP Tacos was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Nataly, the owner, was incredible every step of the way. She gave us a full tasting of our entire menu and was unbelievably flexible with every adjustment we made, right up until the wedding. She even created several dishes that weren't on their menu just because we asked, and they were amazing. Her generosity blew us away. She loaned us her hot drink dispenser free of charge, provided all the cups, plates, and cocktail napkins, and personally drove with her team three hours out to our venue just to walk the space and plan how everything would be presented. She didn't have to do that, but she wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. On the wedding day, her team set up an entire outdoor kitchen and grills so they could cook right in front of our guests. Every plate came fresh off the grill, and you could taste the difference. The setup, presentation, and service were flawless. Every single guest told us it was the best Mexican food they had ever had, not just at a wedding but ever. Nataly and her team went above and beyond in every way, and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

Came to this place for lunch yesterday and I got three order of fish tacos combo and order of Cabeza tacos. Not bad, I like the tacos however would wish the fish to be little more meaty inside of breading. There is a parking lot. The food came out quick. The service were great, she very nice and welcoming.

Quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. Tacos were ok but had good flavor. Rice and beans were not good at all and did not have any flavor to them. Very mediocre food.

I told them these carnitas were for my dog and to put nothing on them - just the meat. I get home and they're covered with cilantro and tons of little cut up pieces of onion. The woman that took my order spoke English so there wasn't any communication problems happening. She even confirmed it by saying "This is for your dog." I said "yep." So they are either trying to kill my dog or they're just really stupid. I hope to God they own no dogs.

WOW wow , j have yet to actually stop by to eat here but I order from here all the time for delivery & im impressed! Food is great I've had everything from breakfast to tacos to quesadillas .. their shrimp taco & even their burger & all of it to me has been too knotch Mexican food. What impresses me even more is how they package everything for delivery, they give you your sauces , condiments & everything accordingly . They seal your food & drink so the driver can not mess with it & im a couple miles away but I always get it right away ! Def my favorite spot to order delivery from ! Ps i don't know why people leave bad reviews regarding drivers , I don't even think place has their own delivery they use their parties , I just know on their end they do everything good , food & packaging wise.

Little spot in San Pedro on 1st and Gaffey parking is a joke but if you find a spot or even better get it delivered you won't be disappointed. This spot is ! So many choices for tacos, burritos , and all type of Mexican food. I usually order the taquitos plate and they hook it up!!! Got a burrito here with "everything." brought it to airport instead of airport food. The Carne asada seemed chewy and old. The rice like a reddish rice paste. I found about two old looking sliced up onions after I made it about a third through the burrito before I checked it. I bought this burrito early in the day, like 1030. Perhaps they didn't have the stuff ready yet, ad it literally was yesterday's stuff. read more

My mom and I were looking for somewhere to go for Taco Tuesday. I came on Yelp and looked for places near me and SP Tacos came up. So happy that it did. My mom and I came here and I must say they were very good. We will definitely be coming back here to have tacos and to try other items on the menu. The only bad thing was we spent the same amount on 2 large drinks as we did on our 6 tacos. But we will be back. read more

This place gets no stars from me. I was absolutely disappointed when I came to eat here. So I was craving tacos and I yelped it and this place happen to pop up and had a lot of good reviews so I was like I for sure need to try it. So I ordered 3 chicken hard shell tacos and why the hell was my total 12.89 . I thought in my head these better be some bomb ass tacos bruh when I got into my car and pulled out the dam tray it was all messy , hard cheese , The chicken was not shredded it was just big pieces of chicken , not to mention the damm taco wasn't even fried. So there goes my damm dinner had to throw it in the damm trash !!!! Don't come here !!!!! read more

Ate there once and will not again due to poor customer service. There was a male that answered the phone and was unable to take my order because I'm guessing he simply did not want to. I had a craving for tacos and the experience tonight ruined this place for me. No establishment should put a customer on hold for no reason and then presume to hang up on a potential customer after calling back numerous times. I drove by the location because it was on my ay home and they were not busy. I can see why. I feel bad for the owner, I wanted to support my local small business but they should rethink who they hire. read more

the most terrible taco spot ive been in a long time I ordered the fish tacos idk what wasn't right about them maybe too much secret sauce or that the fish was fried wayyyy tooooo hard but I also ordered a hard shell chicken taco and she said it was grilled chicken and it was more of a burned shredded gristle it was nasty af . never again read more

Got potato tacos (with no cheese and sour cream). It was pretty much a liiitle bit of mashed potato with mostly shredded lettuce and some chopped tomato. I thought it would be diced & fried tomatoes. Not my type. Cashier was very friendly. read more

Ok the food is good, good taste, price OK, but I saw the clerk sticking her hand in one of the food containers they have to prepare the food after she handle money and checks and took one piece of meat put it in her mouth, I wonder how they passed their food handling certification! read more

Being a chicana, I have certain expectations for tacos. I grew up in South Central and would go to Taco Carts at the corner all the time. I expected this place, being an actual location as opposed to a taco cart, to be delicious. I was disappointed. There was a lot of options, but options are nothing if the food is not tasty. I ordered a carne asada burrito and 1 cabeza taco. The burrito came with mashed beans compared to the usual whole beans. The cabeza was not clean, very fatty. The food wasn't even fresh and took forever to get. I saw they took everything out of warmers. As hungry as I was, I was unable to finish my food. I opened up the churro I got from there and bit into it, disappointed again. How can anyone ruin a churro!?! If you want good tacos in San Pedro, go to the Taco Truck on Pacific and 13th, across from the ballet Studio. 1000x better. 2 stars for options and prices/deals read more

I LOVE SPTacos...every taco place in LA is always my favorite, then this place opens up down the street and it's the only place I go now. Everything I've tried is great and they have the best salsa bar with all the good stuff. I'm pretty consistent on what I order, but their tacos are super cheap at $1.25 and the burrito at $6.99 is packed with the best seasoned meats: my faves are the 4 tacos/drink for $5.99 (the al pastor/carne asada are awesome!), fish tacos, pozole is great and they have a carne asada breakfast burrito that is a thing of wonder! Taco Tuesday and Fish Taco Wednesday...enough said! read more

I love this spot! Noticed this small reataurant as I stopped at the 7 Eleven next door and I had a craving for nachos! I have bought burritos, nachos, steak fries, and quesadillas multiple times and their food is the best! I love how they package the food to go which keeps it warm and spill proof! The workers are always super nice! Shout out to the girl working the cashier Friday night! She is so kind and attentive! Definitively a go to anytime I have a craving, will make the 15 mile drive anytime! read more

Not bad. They stay open pretty late. I prefer the tacos of one of the many taco trucks in town. Not a huge fan of their quality of meat here. The Al Pastor is very greasy. I really like the posole here and it comes with a lot of meat. The fish tacos are a safe choice too. read more

I've had fish tacos here and was disappointed. somewhat visually appealing but the over all execution was off. Who puts lettuce in their fish tacos, they do here. It's supposed to be cabbage. Then they added cheese? what, why? That's what I said. they have taco tuesday here but i'm not here too often. I have had authentic Mexican before and this place is not as good. Best thing was the tamale. I prefer the red sauce on mine, but they only have green. The sopa would have tasted better if it had shredded chicken, instead of chunks of chicken. You will have to dress your own tacos, which I think is a good idea. read more

I went here on a recommendation on Reddit's r/SanPedro page, and I'm glad I went. The kind redditor…read moresuggested the tacos, so I ordered 3 chicken tacos with a side of beans and rice. There were a few things that really stood out and made me very happy that I gave it a try. First, the red sauce in the salsa bar: very legit! Spicy, but very flavorful! I also tried the green chili/tomatillo sauce, which was also very good and good counter point to the unctuous marinated chicken. And they don't go cheap on the meat. Secondly, the corn tortillas were made in house and were hefty! Very tasty and held together where other tacos need two of the thin store-bought variety to have a hope to stand together. Very good. If I had the tiniest critique, I would say to add a tiny bit more salt to them, but I have a theory why they may go scant on it, and I respect that. Third, the beans and rice: The beans were very simple, but simply good. It takes a lot of guts to make and serve simple pinto beans boiled with salt. I know! What a concept! But simply delicious, and made to complement the rest of the food, and not distract from it. It takes a lot of confidence in my opinion for a restaurant to have such faith in their food to leave some that should be simple, simple. The same was true for the rice: simply well made, not over done with a ton of ingredients. It was well made: the individual grains didn't stick together. And it was unctuous without being overbearing. If I had to guess, I would say that they used broth and chicken fat. Simply good, and a complement to rest of the meal. Now to my theory. It makes sense that the masa would be light on the salt because it is the same masa that they use for pupusas, and the filling for pupusas (I just like that word) is savory and well seasoned. I'll let you now next time I got back and try the PUPUSAS! ;)

Lengua was kind of shredded into pieces and by the end of the taco I didn't really want to keep eating it. Chicken tasted like it was seasoned with a ramen packet or something just odd seasoning.

It also included a small side of refried beans with cheese on top, which was unremarkable, and some mushy Mexican rice that could have been much better. The meat itself was definitely the best part of the meal. It also came with a small container of consommé, but it was only lukewarm even though I had driven just 10 minutes away, so the food overall could have been hotter. There was only one hot sauce included, and I didn't care for it at all. I also missed the usual fresh radish slices and the standard red or green salsa options that many birria places provide. The food was packaged nicely, but overall I was expecting better for the price. It came to above $18, which felt overpriced for the quality, especially considering there's no dine-in option. While there was enough meat for two people, I personally would have preferred slightly smaller portions with better overall quality and sides. I've definitely had better birria elsewhere, which is why I'm giving this rating.

I usually enjoy the food at SP Tacos, but unfortunately my experience today was very disappointing. The restaurant was extremely hot inside, with no functioning air conditioning. While the staff had set up some fans to help, they provided little relief, and it was clear that both employees and customers were very uncomfortable due to the heat. In addition, there were a significant number of flies throughout the restaurant. While I understand that proper ventilation is important for the staff, the current conditions are not appropriate for a dining environment. Employees should not have to work in such uncomfortable circumstances, and the situation also raises concerns about the overall dining experience and food safety for customers. I believe this is an issue that management should address promptly, both for the well-being of the staff and for the satisfaction of guests. read more

Nice little store but dam do they have issues with druggies and crazy people here. I ordered ahead of time some carne asada fries which on there ads say 3.99 or 4.99 but when I called they said it's 8 they gotta fix there prices. I hate that the fries have beans which I will take note if I ever go here again fries are decent. Tacos are ok they have a taco tuesday deal but they changed the meat to only a few selection and for the crazy people there are crazy people due to 711 next door but they shouldn't allow them to go in there wingstop doesn't have that issue the guy was literally asking every customer for change in front of the cashier.
