Had the 3 crunchy chicken tacos with a drink. Wait time was honestly less that 5 minutes. The tacos were absolutely delicious. The crunchiness of the shell was so satisfying and tasted homemade! The chicken was shredded and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and two diff types of cheese!! The shell didnt crack nor mess up my taco when i bit into it. This place used to be great a couple years ago. It's really gone downhill. This time I had both the street tacos and hard tacos. The Carne Asada was terrible. Super salty and lots of gristle. No good spice and no tenderness. I DoorDashed with pick up for my order and it was supposed to be ready at 4:11 but they didn't even start making it till 420. So I went next-door to get my son a drink, and she didn't even tell me until right before we left that she doesn't have Horchata which I ordered. I hate soda and that was the only alternative and she could've told me that before I went next-door to get another drink. She wasn't even apologetic and she could've offered me one of the jarritos, but she didn't. The hard tacos also have a bad shell that literally the first bite. It breaks in half and they don't even give you utensils or have them out. They also don't have a bathroom which is illegal for a restaurant with seating. read more

Very disappointed, ordered a burrito and asked for no rice and no Pico de Gallo and was delivered with both rice and Pico. When i called to let them know the woman basically told me oh well and there is nothing they can do to make it right . I discovered this place, not too long ago, which is located next to Wingstop on corner of 1st and Gaffy. I have lived in Pedro foe more than three years and embarrassed that I haven't been here before. They have *tacos, burritos and tortas. The best tacos so for here in SP. All the usual meat choices and not pricey at all. I usually order lingua, pastor, asada, and chicken, all two of each. I use to go to *tacos el goloso, they are very good as well and have great birria! The salsas are excellent too lots of choices from spicy to flaming hot. I forgot their names. I am writing a review because this place needs to be mentioned for their kindness and thoughtful of the community of San Pedro I am a registered nurse currently working on Covid unit in Providence little company of Mary Today SP tacos sent all staffs a burrito to show their appreciation and support to frontline workers in the hospital helping patients with covid. This means a lot. It also means they care for people and care what they serve people. The burrito was mediocre but filling portion with good amount of carne asada filled with other delicious marinated rice and beans. I actually prefer this burrito over Chipotle for its authentic taste. The right and caring minded business never disappoints you. Such great burritos and tacos! Been coming here for years and just tried their breakfast burritos which are delicious as well as their wet burritos for lunch which are large portions. I learned about SP Tacos through Grubhub and Doordash, and I've ordered from here dozens of time. It is located on the northeast corner of Gaffey and 1st, which is a super busy intersection. Their street tacos are my main go-to orders. I have had their asada, pastor, and suadero tacos. Their street tacos are pretty good. I usually get them with salsa verde, which I wish was consistent every time I order as sometimes it is too thick and other times too thin. If you do order from here via delivery services, you should make sure that you include "add onions and cilantro" to your special instructions because they do not always do that. read more

This place wins it for me because of it's deals. it's literally what drew me in. I like that Tuesday special but the Wednesday one throws me for a loop. I appreciate the salsa self serve but then I wonder how sanitary it is because everyone is filling and overfilling their salsa cups to go. The food is delicious. Always pick it up and take it home. The beans are delicious and the rice, can't complain. The portions are pretty generous. The service is quick and choices are there. Simply put, San Pedro Tacos is solid! While I was at Brouwerij West I decided to get Mexican food that would hopefully well-accompany my beer. I ordered the nachos with cabeza, fish tacos, egg with frijoles, and potato taco... geez... it hit the spot big time. I mean I was just hoping for some good nachos, but when I saw that there were potato tacos and tacos de huevo and frijol, I was like, "alright, expectations have gone a bit higher," and those expectations were met. Every time I have eaten here the quality has been really poor. I love hole-in-the-wall taco places and trucks but this place in particular, I just can't say I've had one decent experience. The food always seems like it's been under a heat lamp all day. Maybe it's because I've only eaten there right before they are going to close? Stopped by around 930pm Sunday night because I was craving tacos. Like other people have been mentioning, area is kind of scary at night. A couple of homeless and people burning candles and stuff just sitting on the sidewalk when we came by. Walked inside and there were two parties sitting. Not an ideal place to chill as there are only 4 small tables. They have a condiments table right by the door and near the soda fountain with all the things you could possibly need in a taco. Theres no cover or anything but most taco places do not have covers so sanitation is all up to your judgement. They have condiment cups along with lids so you can take them to-go. We ordered 6 tacos (asada, carnitas & chicken) at 1.45$/ea, as well as an order of pastor/asada french fries. (8.49$) and a drink (2.45$). The tacos came out super quick and all three tasted great! My favorite would have to be the asada. All the meats were nice and juicy and very flavorful and they definitely did not shiest on the meat. The fries were also really good. Love that its potatoe type french fries so it switched up the flavor compared to other types of fries. Pastor had a spice kick to it but that made it really good. I believe it was topped with salsa, sour cream and guac. The servers were both super friendly and definitely made us feel welcomed. Would be back if I was ever in the area! read more

Wow! Just wow! The quality of the meat and the freshness is amazing. I order the hardest protein that consist of great taste and cooking methods. The Buche was amazingly delicious. A bit oily but it was delish. The trip as were bomb but oily. If they would've just did it crispy it would've been perfect. I might ask that for my next order. I was looking for a taco place in the San Pedro area that was opened late on a Saturday night. San Pedro tacos came up, and I was excited to see many 5 star reviews. Apparently some of my fellow yelpers are generous with their stars. Normally for a late night run, we go to the Tacos el Gallito in Harbor City https://www.yelp.com/biz/tacos-el-gallito-harbor-city. Their tacos are decent and warrant higher marks because the offer more than SP Tacos. The guy behind the counter was friendly, and suggested their asada fries or something like that. I told him I wasn't that hungry and wanted tacos. I decided on the 4 tacos and drink for $5.99 deal, choosing Lengua, 2 Carnitas and Carne Asada. The tacos are filled with meat, so I won't disagree with the yelpers there. But as for taste? The carnitas were a bit too lean IMHO, and not enough flavor. The carne asada was a bit tough and chewy. The lengua was good, and probably the best of the 3 meats we chose. The condiment bar is good, 4 or 5 salsa choices, pico de gallo, cucumbers, limes, cabbage, cilantro, etc. Not bad. One of their roja salsa was unbearably spicy, I think my tongue is still tingly. For whimps, try the pico de gallo. Unfortunately the place is tiny, holds 4 tables. We were there at 11:00 at night, so parking wasn't a problem, but at night you can't see the flapping banners in the wind. It's located literally between 7-Eleven and the Wing Stop. There's better taco joints out there, but not many who are opened late. Sorry but I think I may make that extra trek to Gallito to get more bang for my buck. This place was just A OK.
