I've always wanted to try this place out but it's not in the greatest spot and just haven't. But, now I've had it twice in the last week. Bomb! I don't understand the negative reviews, this is the only taco joint that's delivered warm tacos in SP. That's a huge plus when you order quesadillas. The fish tacos are huge! I ask for them without cheese and they've delivered on that request both times. My bf has gotten the crispy tacos (which were still crispy and not all chewy which happens after fried tortillas get cold) huerache, and the wet burrito which was ridiculously huge. Normally I'd take pictures but it's so good we just go whole ham until it's gone in a few minutes. Food is amazing and the cost is good. Staff are always friendly and u nvr have to wait long for your food. Definitely a recommendation! Especially for something quick over the weekend! I asked this place for extra like and I got home and gave me 0 salsa so I called them and asked them why I didn't receive any salsa and they said you didn't ask for any just extra lime. obviously if you ask for tacos any spot aren't you soppiest to get salsa on the side? Great place to get good and cheap tacos. Don't let the outside scare you (although it did scare me a bit..) Located in the wingstop/7 Eleven plaza. I would say come at night time since it seems like the plaza is busy during the day and looks like there's limited parking. SP Tacos is more of a to-go taco shop anyways (there's literally 3-4 tables inside). But I also did feel a bit unsafe coming at night. Asada torta- Pretty good! I didn't know there were going to be beans inside. Would've tasted much better without the beans, but even with them, it tasted good. Tacos- delicious. They're burritos are filling, but they WILDLY over season. I ordered it three separate times and every time there's was WAYY too much salt. I had to chug down soda just to counter that salty taste. I don't know if the seasoning is in the meat or the rice or something but just heads up they over season with the salt. On top of that again. It's extremely basic burrito. The lady at the counter was so nice and made our visit that much better! We were all starving from a hike. My brother's Al Pastor torta was the winner and did look great. I'm not sure what they do but it's really soft and moist in the middle (that's what she said, wait what!?), maybe it's butter or some lard or not fully cooked or something else but it's good lol. Nice crunchy texture on the outside and a good amount of sweetness as well. The tacos were pretty good. I had lengua and asada both were on point. Nothing special about the beans and rice. The salsa bar was very clean and had a good selection of salsas and extras like onions, cucumbers, peppers, cilantro, etc. The area is pretty dirty and ghetto and the parking can be cramped as it shares parking with all of the other strip mall stores. The prices are so hard to beat too. $1.69 for a taco?? That's great. The fish and shrimp were $2.99. That's insane for a fish/shrimp taco! They're usually like $4-$6/ea. They really hook it up here. I come here pretty often and it's excellent. It's a little bit of a hole in the wall too, which is cool. I usually get the suadero tacos, which are pretty crazy on their own. Combine that with their diablo or meoqui salsa? They're incredible, especially after a long day. I've also had the flautas, al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas: all of which were great too. 21 minutes ago This was the worst tacos I ever had in my entire life. The person who helped us to take the order was Natalie, and when I called to ask for a manager she said she is the manager. My daughter requested 2 tacos and she sold us 3 tacos saying you have to have three and cannot have just 2. My daughter requested lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream on it and they just put nothing but chicken and I tasted the chicken and it was so dry and salty. I would never in a million go here again and I honestly do not know how they have a 4 rating.
