Been coming here for years. They are out of prosecco A LOT. Their snacks have gone down hill, absolutely nothing healthy. They finally got the steam room fixed after 6 or more months. They no longer have deodorants in the locker rooms. Not very happy about what's going on, so not sure how much longer we'll use their services. Yolanda at the front desk is wonderful, very helpful. Spend an hour with Autumn who gave me an amazing massage. When we arrived they showed us to the serenity area. They had complementary water,tea and fruit. The locker room did not really provide anyplace to change other than the restroom. They offer the use of the steam room for free. They have a waiting room with a mixture of loungers and chairs that were very comfortable. The tile waterfall, music and atmosphere are very relaxing. The massage was relaxing and soothing. They used a combination of techniques including hot towels and heating pads. Really nice massage. They offer 10% off services when you check in on Yelp for the first time. read more

He incorporated several heated elements which added to the relaxation. He was very quiet, professional, and calming. Following the massage, I took advantage of the sauna and showers. My wife and I decided to have a spa day since COVID ruined our 35th anniversary European river cruise. Not all of the spa services were available due to Covid but was understandable. I had a facial and a 90 minute massage and my wife wound up with a facial, 60 minute massage, pedicure and hair blowout. All of the people who helped us were very nice and accommodating. I had asked for firm/extra pressure during my massage which only lasted a couple of minutes after my request but it was a good massage. My wife loved her facial, massage and blowout but was surprised they didn't do a clear coat in her pedicure. It is fairly expensive compared to some other spas but a great place when it's time to relax. read more

I have never been more humiliated by a receptionist and staff in my life. The level of unprofessionalism by this girl with multiple facial piercings and the handling of my complaints by the hotel guest services is unmatched to any experience I've had. I had a day from absolute hell ending in an unexpected trip to urgent care that left me sad, sore, and in extreme need of relaxation. My significant other called this spa to arrange a massage and decided a facial would be good, too. We arrive to the hotel 45 mins before my facial and decide to have a cocktail in their lobby bar. I felt it was within reason and another service offered bbt the hotel that I could utilize to begin relaxing. I had 2 single cocktails and ordered a 3rd to take with me on my next 1.5 hour adventure in the salon. As I was signing in I could not use my right hand due to a thumb injury and had to use my left, forcing me to make a joke to my significant other next to me that I felt a little tipsy writing out my name with my left hands. The receptionist pipes up saying if I am intoxicated I would not be able to get a massage at the discretion of the masseuse if he felt I was impaired. I assured her I was not drunk, I had only made a joke to my boyfriend. She then sends me back for the facial and the esthetician tells me we do not have time for a robe right now but after. She does the facial and tells me we will then change into a robe and to follow her, she then straight walks me up to the receptionist who then tells me my massage has beee cancelled because the masseuse says he is not comfortable performing the services. This is a person who has not seen me, met me, or talked to me ever. I am so upset and embarrassed by this denial of service and reasons for it being discussed in front of guests waiting in their lobby. As I leave I tell them I will never be back and the receptionist has the audacity to quip fake niceness to my back in a sticky tone, "have a nice daaay!" I had no choice but to ask for a hotel manager in the lobby and explained myself. I'm now sobbing in the lobby, beyond embarrassed and feeling shamed for using only this hotel's services and then denied and made to feel less than in front of strangers. He tells me he is sorry for my experience and I said, "yes, me too. I will never return here if this is how your business is run and I will be sharing this with everyone I know." I called guest services as I left and was put on hold after asking for a refund from the spa since my facial was completely ruined by my tears covering my face. She comes back and says they refuse. I explained I would absolutely be getting a refund for not only it being ruined but on principle for how i was treated. She puts me back on hold and after another 10 mins was hung up on. I called back and another woman answered where I had to once again recant my story. She gets me on the phone with the spa manager who actually is the one who made the reservation for me through my boyfriend and she said she would refund me and would leave it at the hotel desk. I write this review because this was absolutely the worst experience. Do not waste your time on a less than mediocre spa with even less desirable staff. The manager is the only one who has managed to not completely turn me off because she did indeed refund me. I do NOT recommend wasting your money here. I would HIGHLY encourage everyone to really consider paying a slightly more premium cost and go to Premier Dermatology. That is what treating yourself looks like. I have been going to Spa Botanical for years and truly enjoyed it. Today I had a bad experience that I just can't shake. I didn't received a reminder notification from the spa and realized about seven minutes after my appointment started that I was late. I called in a bit of a frenzy and was given exactly two options: 1) pay in full or 2) never go again. The phone call felt awful. I was embarrassed, so I chose to never go there again. I live about 5 minutes from the spa, so I could have gotten there and been ready about 15 minutes late, but I guess that wasn't ok. So I'm giving the business two stars for past positive experiences. A great reflection on professionalism. Asked us to wait until she was done typing (5 minutes) before acknowledging our presence. Superb customer service there eh... Here's some useful information. They do not take appoints online. You call. God help you if she picks up. Her mask was down her nose (not sure what the point was of that). They close at 6pm - so the latest appointment would be 430pm. They are booked out on weekends for several weeks, so if you are fortunate enough not to deal with that receptionist then you might want to book weeks in advance. We were open to weekdays, but give the growth in the area - they will likely loose plenty of clients once a better facility open up. About the facility. If you are use to larger facilities with several spa options, rock options, several relaxation area - this is not it. It's small if compared to that. But they have one single area to relax. That's it. Not a real "spa" but better than a quick massage place that just does the job. Basically it will do, but better if you are able to avoid the dark haired blue nail receptionist. I'd love to cut them slack now but I've sat on a gift card for over a year (Mother's Day gift 2021) because I cannot get an appointment. This year I didn't receive a single birthday present, except the one and only thing I asked for. A gift card to Spa Botanica. After all the amazing reviews and referrals, my excitement to have my own amazing experience was like a kid on Christmas morning.. I waited and waited for a day off, after having to pick up an extreme amount of hours because of Covid, between two children, and a husband who works 48 hour shifts at the fire department, I finally got in today. My appointment was for 230 this afternoon, so I made sure I was there early in case I had to fill out new client paperwork. The front desk and lobby staff were phenomenal, kind, and helpful. When my therapist came out and let me to my room my excitement was through the roof. I got undressed and got on the table when she came in to begin the massage. I quickly put my phone down, and saw the time was 239... Once on the table I told her that I was incredibly cold and her response to me was a small giggle and- "I know, and unfortunately so are my hands but hopefully things will warm up when we get started..." She asked me what I would like for her to focus on today, and on my paperwork I indicated specifically my shoulder blades and my tailbone and I told her as well I didn't care about any other parts of the body except for those two specific areas. We got started and all seemed well but I layer there so cold it was hard to relax.. She began with one side of my shoulder blades and spent a really good amount of time rolling over multiple knots that I didn't even know was there LOL and next she switched to the other side... she spent half the time working on that shoulder blade until she moved onto my back rolling her hands and elbows up and down the spine... after a minute or two she sat in her chair and began working on my arm and hand, and I thought she was going in stages and would eventually get to my tailbone, but instead she spent some time massaging my forearms and the palms of my hand when I really started to notice her nails opposed to the balls of her fingertips... and then the CD player begins to skip over and over again on the same track.. after spending A good amount of time on that arm she rolled the chair to the other arm, where she spent once again half the time in that area using completely different techniques than what she had on the other side. Everything seemed to be honestly all over the place and very inconsistent.. but then when she eventually left my shoulders and back and begins on my arms her hands from here on out began to drag down my skin almost feeling like a very gentle Indian burn for the remaining of my session... but still very uncomfortable... it seemed as though she wasn't using the oil as much as she probably needed to on me, and I don't remember her stopping too many times during the session to actually get more... After my arms she had me roll over on my back when she sat behind me and started to massage my neck and my back with her hands between the table and my skin she massaged but the only thing I could feel was her nails scratching as she moved up and down... also during this time the table was creaking as she moved...doors were slamming in the hallway, and laughing and joking from those who seemed to just be standing in the corridor... I was so incredibly uncomfortable, cold, my skin feeling as though it dragged against hers, the scratching, and the burning sensation on my skin from the lack of oil... I couldn't relax from almost the moment the massage began and I was fighting back my tears of disappointment and just being so uncomfortable... Towards the end she stretched my neck, moving my head from left to right... and it ended up pinching a nerve on my right side leaving a painful sensation as if I twisted it too quickly... Suddenly it was over... she told me she would step out and I could get dressed and meet her outside the door... I sat up slowly and grabbed my phone, and the current time was 323.... meaning my 50 minute massage had only been less than 40 minutes from actual start to finish.... I wanted so badly for this to be such an amazing experience, because it was so much more needed than you can begin to fathom. I tipped her at the front desk and left crying... I really want to give it one more try but I'm so nervous... I shouldn't have been so afraid to say something or speak up but I didn't know how to... nor did I want to make my therapist feel disrespected by any means or intern upset her making the experience even worse from that point. I have been coming here for several years, but this past visit will be my last. My massage was wonderful, but the receptionist was extremely rude. My locker key wouldn't work, so I went back to the front desk to let them know I couldn't lock it. The receptionist told me she knew it worked because she used it earlier and that I needed to try turning it the other way. I was completely shocked by the way she talked to me. I went back to the locker room and it still wouldn't open. I went back to the front desk and told her. She got up and told me to come with her to the locker room. I felt like I was in trouble and a complete inconvenience. She then went to the locker room and had to mess with it for a while to get it unlocked. She was finally able to unlock it and I said, Can i just have a different locker? She acted like she wasn't sure if she could give me a different one, and luckily another person in the locker room offered to let me use the theirs since she was finished. The receptionist however didn't offer to help me at all. It's sad that the first person you see when you walk into a business is so rude. I couldn't even enjoy my massage because all I could think about was how rudely I had been treated. The lounge area has also gone down hill. The TVs weren't on, and I honestly felt creeped out sitting in there. read more

I choose Spa Botanica as it is the closest experience I've found in nwa to be a high end spa. Once checked in, you will be shown to the ladies locker room. They have a lounge area to relax prior to your appointed service. There is coffee, tea, and fresh fruit water to enjoy. Each service I have had has been good. I tend to require deep tissue massage and that service will leave you a bit sore for a day. However I feel much better in the days to come. It is nice to have access to the steam room after your massage (occasionally the steam room has a slightly moldy smell). I do take advantage of the showers and when done, I can go about my day . While the overall experience was great with friendly staff, I was disappointed that my pedicure started chipping off less than 12 hrs after they were done. I did some research and I found that a standard mani/pedi with normal OPI nail polish (not gel) should last about a week without touch up. I have had other pedicures in the past that have used the same polish and have lasted well beyond a week as well but for a fraction of the cost! I feel a very dissatisfied with the result (almost to the point of tears) because it was not worth the cost of the experience to have something only last half a day. I have become a regular here. Moving to a new area, it can be difficult finding places that live up to the type of services you previously were accustomed to. Well, Spa Botanica does not disappoint. I have been visiting Dawn for waxing services for a little over a year, and she is THE BEST! Not only is she a perfectionist, but she is very focused on the health of your skin. She is definitely my best esthetician yet! I even started going to her for facials. If I ever leave this area, the next person will have BIG shoes to fill! read more

I came here for a massage a little over a week ago and it was great. LOCATION/PARKING: This spa is located at the Embassy Suites. The spa has their own entrance that is to the right of the normal, grander entrance. There is a large parking lot for the hotel. However, right in front of the spa there are a few reserved parking spots for Spa Botanica. AMENITIES: The spa has a gift shop by the checkin/cashier. When you walk through the doors, you see a salon on your right. For the spa part, they have a awesome lounge area: dimmed light, comfortable lounge chairs, soothing water fountain, teas, fruit infused water, hot chocolate, food (there was a fruit bowl when I was there), magazines, etc. The locker room has a changing area, bathroom with toiletries, a shower area, and steam room. In the locker room area they have some oils/lotions for your body and a hair dryer. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Overall, the customer service was good. My massage therapist was very nice. I scheduled my massage as late as possible on a weekday, which was 6pm. They spa closes at 8pm, so I had a hour after my massage to enjoy the spa facility. I was in the lounge area and someone kept looking around the corner at me. I didn't really care, but it did make me feel like I was suppose to get going and get out, even though it was only around 7:15pm. No one said anything and even one woman told me to take my time, so maybe the person was just checking on me. I thoroughly enjoyed the lounge area. Please read my previous review of Spa Botanica to hear the positive that have brought me back to this place numerous times up until this point. I am now Lowering my review stars to 3 and am so tempted to only give them 2 stars after the last two visits. 1. Both of my last 2 visits the locker rooms have been disturbingly gross. Not the bathroom but the locker room/Showers/Steam Room/"Relaxation Lounge". (Each of the following have occurred on each visit) In the Steam room there have been multiple used sweated on towels strewn around the sitting areas. I understand that others use the steam room, but each time it was cold and no other men were in the building. This means that there has been NO attempt to clean or even appear to have cleaned the area where nude bodies sit between customers. There are 2 showers in the men's locker room. Each visit, both showers had previously been used prior to me using them and again, no other men in the area. I know that they had been used because of the used wash cloths on the floor or the presence of used body towels or trash. What kills me about this is the towel pyramids that look so beautiful are complete everywhere you look, so, someone replaced the towels without cleaning up anything. The Relaxation Lounge. This place has been anything but the last couple of visits. Again the lack of cleanliness is what stands out the most. Trash everywhere, used plates, cups, and room service dishes all over the place. Both of the last two visits they also either had my name wrong or time of the spa wrong. This is not a big deal to me, but it continues to show that there are some fundamental problems here. Every time I've been here over the years you can hear employees complaining about their day or similar conversations as they walk up and down the hall in the "whisper area". An area that they do not whisper in. Last complaint is really touching on all of this by saying that there are employees all over this place, so it makes no sense that no one seems to clean. There are TONS of Spas in NWA, so I hope that they can take this review and make some changes. I worked at the Spa and it was not a good experience. Right off the bat, one of the managers didn't know they raised the pay by .¢60 cents so I was already paid less. Everyone I worked with stressed 'teamwork' but come to find out, there was little to no teamwork involved. I was not treated right by my own manager, asking way too much for such little pay. I did meet some great people out of my experience there, but I would never recommend someone work there. lastly, they moved full time from 35 to 30 hours a week so they can pay you less. read more

I visited Spa Botanica while staying in the Spa tower of the Embassy Suites Hotel for a week-long business meeting. The facility is beautiful, relaxing and conveniently located across from the exercise room. The spa staff was friendly and I was able to discuss options before booking without feeling like I was going to be subjected to the "hard sell" often present at other spas. I booked a 50 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. The service was wonderful - so much so that I booked a longer 80 minute massage two days later. The locker rooms were spotless and equipped with just about everything you could think of including toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotions, scents, combs, etc. The robes are large enough to handle a large person quite comfortably. They aren't the "standard" terry cloth robes found at other spas, but a silky beige material on the outside with spa logo embroidered on the chest, and a softer white cotton on the inside. The effect is elegant and upscale. The first day the water was infused with cucumber. On my next visit the water was infused with fresh strawberries and pineapple. Fresh cut fruit (strawberries, melon, grapes and pineapple), health bars, cereal and an array of teas (with very large glass tea cups) complete the tranquil setting. I recommend going early and relaxing before your appointment. I requested Angie both times. She was wonderful, attentive, and seemed to figure out where all the "kinks" were without prompting from me. After each massage, she set the steam room timer and checked on me periodically. On the second visit she left samples for me to take home but didn't try to "up sell me" on products. Instead, when I checked out, I found a note at the front desk with additional suggestions for products that might work with my skin type. The pricing is not expensive. In fact, the cost of a 50-minute massage was lower than it is in my home town at a similarly sized spa attached to a hotel. (Their Facebook special dropped the price to $50) I also paid considerably more for a massage in New Mexico. The costs of the spa products I purchased ranged from $5 to $30. Compare that to $300 for "bath salts" that were pushed on my latest cruise, and $60 bath salts (a tiny jar) I was urged to buy at a spa in a different state. My spa visit was Nirvana. The only drawback was that I couldn't book back to back massages. If you have an opportunity to visit Rogers, Arkansas, I highly recommend the Embassy Suites and the Spa Botanica for a perfect getaway or business trip. read more

They have a relaxation room with a water fountain and small pool which is nice. Not many seats, especially on the weekends when it's busier. The steam room located in the locker room is great. Prices are affordable and they email promotions every so often. I definitely take advantage of the promos when I can. Check in is always easy and the front desk assistant is normally well prepared for my arrival. Everyone at this spa is very friendly. I haven't had a bad/rude experience here yet! When you check in they show you to the locker room where you will find your assigned locker, comfy robe and slippers. It smells like armpits in this room, but I believe it's the bamboo floors. Anyway... the snack area is just outside the locker room with the MOST AMAZING TEAS. I seriously love their teas! Snacks include nuts, various seeds and fruit. The waiting area is very relaxing with a soothing waterfall. The masseuse greats you at the appropriate time and leads you to the massage room. Every room is clean with perfect dimmed lighting. I've had a variety of massage therapists from Spa Botanica... there are some betters than others, but none of them are terrible. Afterwards you are welcome to stay and enjoy the steam shower or hang out in the waiting area for more relaxation. I like how they don't push you out after your appointment. I was looking for a place that does Brazilian waxes and this was one of the highest rated places that appeared on my search. I called to make an appointment and told them that it was my first time getting said service done. Lindsey was extremely helpful. She gave me valuable tips and suggested two different ladies that would be the best fit. I'm a bit of a novice to luxury, so the atmosphere really blew me away. The waiting area was dimly lit with a fountain, soft music, comfy chairs and a small area with snacks and tea. Definitely easy to relax in that environment. :) Heather, the lady that did my waxing, was fabulous. She was sweet, patient, easy to talk to and thorough. Their price for a Brazilian is $70 (before optional gratuity), which is chump change compared to some of the prices I saw for other spas. Definitely worth every penny. Definitely coming back.
