About 2 years ago or so o bought an insert fireplace, i installed it myself and from the beginning i had problems with it it was going on and off pilot wouldn't stay lit, i called them and they told me to turn the wifi unit off and the blower switch off but nothing, i don't live in the denver area so they don't service, i called a local service company they did a service, but still gave problems, so i started to look into it bought a new wifi control unit for it, a new pilot assembly and didn't help, i bought this from them to realize they sold me broken parts, the reason I'm saying this is because after more than 2 years i bought a pilot assembly that fix the whole problem, i wouldn't buy anything from this guys because i realized they are not honest, or maybe because I'm a Hispanic guy and im dumb who knows. read more

I only recommend for buying chemicals. Their service department is lacking and they seemed reluctant to offer help. Their hourly service rate was much higher than competitors too. As a first-time homebuyer, I needed help with the included hot tub. I had many questions and was willing to pay for the help. I didn't get the help I needed from multiple phone calls and a store visit. One visit from a competitor and all my questions were answered directly and completely. If you are looking for help with hot tub startup, draining, or repair; I would seek a competitor that is more specialized on service. read more

Since the minute I walked in felt I was irritating this guy or maybe he's the owner. He just had this way about how he talked to me. I let it go at first but his tone or just being talked to the way he did Just gave me a sense he really didn't care if I bought from him or not and wished I just left. I told him maybe I should double check my dimensions, he then turned around and threw his hands up in disgust the walked away. I was there maybe 8 minutes.. I'm sure I didn't waste to much of his precious time being he had his feet on the desk when I walked in. My thought was he maybe he thought I couldn't afford a fireplace or something because he mentioned pricing like it was gonna scare me away.. or maybe it was my skin tone but looking at these other reviews only shows I'm not the only one who experienced shitty service. I finally had to ask him what the hell what his problem was. He said he just see people trying use the wrong fireplace all the time. Then educate with a better tone. Tell me the difference don't just walk me to a fireplace he thinks will work. Tell us what to look for.. ask the right questions. Don't be a jack ass. Cal Spas hot tub....from Spa Brokers Westminster ....bought April 2023 We bought a Cal Spas hot tub at Spa Brokers Arvada in April of 2023 and it has been full of problems from the point of delivery and continues to this point almost a year later. It was spa model 22E767L-X-AL/MO-FS if that means anything to you....it was a $12,000 spa that seats 6-7 people. We also later bought a wifi module and had assumed it would include this as everything else we looked at included wifi connectivity. Purchased in April....delivery was delayed a bit due to weather and nobody at fault for that. Once installed I filled it with water and found it all leaked out. Called service and a broken jet was at fault. 2 jets ended up being broken and needed fixed before we could refill it with water....of course chemicals I had were wasted in this process. Filled and used for a while. Took the back panel off (the one opposite of the control panel) as I was going to see insulation level. It was challenging getting screws out as most were bent badly and most could not be put back in as I had to use new ones that I happened to have....it seemed it must have been dropped to have bent these screws. It had also caused the insulation on that side to come free from the top on the opening of that area...I could not reattach it properly. I looked at this due to temp not holding well and was worried about poor insulation. I had two other hot tubs that help the temp much better than this one. Later found control panel could not control temps, pumps or lights at times and had to have the panel replaced. Added a wifi module for $400+ myself so I could control things better. Again control panel would not respond on many occasions to control temp, pumps, lights. And had to get out and then use the extra wifi module to turn things off in order to not waste energy. March 12. 2024 still having major issues and cannot use our spa. We have asked for it to be replaced as a lemon or to be refunded so we can buy a better brand to avoid these issues. Temp dropped to 71....turned it up on the app and when we went to get in it was at 69 degrees. Tried to turn it up on the control panel....was not sure if it worked but we could not use our spa that night. Turned it up the next day to 104 and went out as a family to find it at 67 degrees. Tried to turn it up via the panel and was not sure what was working or not. Checked the next day and nothing is working to get it to turn up. Error code now appears that water level is low when spa is completely full. Filter was leaned the weekend before. Emails back and forth with our salesperson who apparently reached out to his manager and no resolution other than to say they will look into it. Our water is now green since it is not filtering and heating. Jets turn on...other than jet one on the filter mode. We wasted a lot of money on a 'nice' spa.....we spent a lot less on our previous one of another brand and wish we had not ended up with a lemon that we cannot use. A hot tub should be something that adds to relaxation....not a total headache that works occasionally and needs repeated repairs in the first year. Learn from our mistake. Look elsewhere. We currently have cold green water in our hot tub and wish we could use it tonight....and the last several nights.....and the next few nights. Reached out several times today and issues are minimized. We need a hot tub that works....not one that is a lemon. read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. I came in looking for a fireplace insert. I am building a home in Montana and wanted to see a specific brand they carried. Even though they didn't have an example in the store, I had such a difficult time getting any information out of the sales person it was painful. He assumed, I guess, that I wasn't buying it there, which isn't true. I've spent well over $10,000.00 there on inserts and would have bought one and had it shipped to Montana or taken with me. We did not purchase a Spa Brokers tub. We wish we had. However, after a poor experience with a service call from the original company, we tried Spa Brokers for a service call and are very happy with their work. When we replace the tub, it will be a Spa Brokers spa. Their technician (Max P.) came out today to replace an excessively noisy pump. Friendly and knowledgeable, I really appreciate not just how he treated me, but how he treated my house, my tub and even my dog! Clearly understands treating the customer like he would want his parents treated by a technician coming over to help out. In addition to fixing our tub, he shared some common sense ideas on how to maintain our ph in a different manner that might alleviate some future problems. Outstanding service! read more

Worst retail store I have ever been to. The spa salesmen was the rudest person I have ever met. We visited to purchase a lift and chemicals for our new spa and when we tested a floor lift product it broke. When he asked us what we had come in for he kept referencing "are you taking the one you broke and then began lecturing us like we were children". We've tested lifts at multiple spa stores and I've never had any issues getting them to lift easily and of course none of them broke as soon as we tried to lift them. I would have had no issues apologizing for this but the rude, arrogant and belittling attitude of the sales person was so insulting, I can assure you I will never spend a penny in this store. read more

Bought a gas fireplace insert. Easy purchasing experience and installation. We are very happy.

We bought our third gas fireplace from the Westminster Spa Brokers store over the course of 5 years and this experience did not live up to our previous 5-star experiences with them. There were numerous deficiencies throughout the process. For example, the salesman didn't seem to know much about the fireplace unit we wanted and didn't make much effort to educate himself along the way. So we received the wrong information about the facade tile around the fireplace face, which had to be corrected later. The fireplace face we choose was poorly designed and did not allow access to the wiring and controls without significant time and effort to remove it. We did our own research to discover this and finally asked for a replacement face. The salesman was completely unaware of this design flaw. We also weren't offered a refund, until we asked for it, for the unused installation venting pieces. Our calls were only returned about half the time, and the installation contractor that the store uses had to make 5 trips to our house to get the installation completed and done correctly. All-in-all, we were disappointed in the decline of service and professionalism at this store and will make our purchases elsewhere in the future. Two stars is about all they earned on this one :( read more
