Went on a tour of the town which gave us a lunch break in the area. I love pesto pasta so wanted to try this out. This place is pretty popular and was packed but they moved very quickly. The chicken pesto was amazing. It was savory and packed with flavor. I was thoroughly surprised. I didn't expect it to be so tasty. I know this place doesn't look like much but don't let the "hole in the wall" look fool you, this place is really good and the prices are very decent. I love their shrimp Alfredo. Although if you have a nut allergy be sure to ask for no pine nuts, and I love that they load it up with mushrooms too! My kids always get a slice of pizza, spaghetti, and a cookie. My oldest loves the garlic bread that comes with the spaghetti. The girls that work there are super friendly and they give my dogs a meatball every time we bring them. There's always a pretty good amount of parking and we never have a problem finding seating. Definitely a family favorite of ours. read more

Came here around 2pm and it wasn't busy (north shore is so nice right now without all the crazy traffic ) Ordered the pepperoni/ olive and vegetarian pizza and they did NOT DISAPPOINT! The pizzas were not greasy like typical pizza but that didn't mean they didn't come packed with flavor! The slices were huge and the prices were decent. Wow, great service, even in this time of quarantine madness. I called in an order and it was no hassle and read for pick up in 20 minutes as stated. I have never been here before, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. It was nothing short of DELICIOUS!! I asked for a "side salad" or similar and they graciously made a few recommendations. There was no problem to remove items from the salad that we dont eat and have the dressing (which was so yummy, papaya seed) on side. They were very accommodating. We ordered bruschetta, which came on a lightly toasted bread seasoned with a very tasty garlic/butter combo. topped with tangy balsamic, tomatoes and basil, wow!! Our pizza was made to order, everything was so fresh and tasty. The mushroom/ricotta ravioli was so filling and the price was also not too bad for all of this food. We had some tasty lemonade, to wash all of it down and boy, as I'm writing I can almost taste these epic flavors all over again. This place may be my fave Italian hole in the wall kind of place. Spaghettini is pretty good for a fast food hole in the wall type of place. I'm not a fan of the seating area of walk up counter but the pasta is good. I ordered the chicken and mushroom Alfredo. I like that they put a lot of sauce on their pasta. I added some red pepper, Parmesan and black pepper and it was perfect. The little garlic bread it comes with is tasty too. I didn't get to try the pizza but it looked pretty good. I don't think you can go wrong here after a long day at the beach and you're looking to carb up lol. The only thing that put me off was when I re-heated my pasta the next day there was tons of oil! Also not sure why they put pine nuts as a garnish, I felt it could do without. read more

Pizza by the slice is super reasonably priced for Hawaii. Order and they heat it up quickly and it's ready to go. This is the closest thing you'll find to true New York style thin crust pizza (but it's even better because you're in Hawaii!). I've tried some of the pasta dishes as well. I'm less impressed with those. The portion sizes are huge but the garlic can be a bit heavy. read more

Got there 20 mins later and still had to wait an additional 15 mins because "they were waiting on the bread". After waiting the additional 15 minutes and seeing others get their orders, I go back up to the window to ask for mine and some guy with an attitude just picks it up in the back like it had BEEN ready and they made me wait for nothing. Turns out it was ready the whole time. One of the girls boyfriends was dropping off Valentine's Day gifts for her and she forgot to bring the order out. Cute but unprofessional. Me, my wife and son all shared the smothered meatball appetizer, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, and pens bolognese. Each dish comes with two small and really good pieces of garlic bread. No alcohol served here. I called ahead to ask if they were pet friendly, and they said yes so we took our golden retriever and he sat nicely on the porch while we ate. Located in Haleiwa, Spaghettini serves up all your usual Italian offerings from pizza to pasta. Order at the counter, where you can see several pizzas on display. I like that the menu has pictures of everything. Seating is casual with picnic tables under a small covered area and several stools to sit on. I tried the alfredo chicken and mushroom pasta, mini for $10. Portion was fair and comes with a side of garlic bread, which I wasn't really a fan of due to the seasoning on top. I however really liked the alfredo sauce. I'm usually quite picky when it comes to white sauces and mostly opt for marinaras but Spaghettini uses a lot of garlic and the sauce consistency was not too thick. The pine nuts were also a nice addition. I didn't get to sample the pizza because my bf gobbled it up so quickly. But the slices reminded me of Boston's Pizza style. Will definitely stop back here for a quick meal when up on the north shore. Seems like they employ mostly young people and they did a good job of giving friendly service and preparing hot and tasty food. read more

This was the results: Wife: Clam Linguine- wife said 5 stars. Sauce and pasta were on point. Flavor was delicious and cooked perfectly. Plenty of Mushrooms and clams. 5 stars Me: Meatball Sandwich: the meatballs have great flavor, sauce was delicious, peppers and onions were good and I hate onions but I wanted to try it as it comes. The onions and peppers weren't over bearing. 5 stars Son 1: Homemade Meat Lasagna: he and I both rated it a 3.5 out of 5. It was okay but nothing really stood out. Plenty of meat, needed more cheese. My son even said too much meat. I think if they added maybe fresh parmesan cheese as they brought it out would have been good. 3.5 stars Rest of kids: pizza- Sausage pizza was good. Son said 4 stars out of 5. Cheese pizza was okay. Crispy, hot and okay. 3.5 stars. I recommend the meatball sandwich if you come here or wife says the clam linguine. I wanted to start my reviews of my recent trip to Oahu w/ a little background. My family has had a summer home in Hale'iwa for many years dating back to when I was a keiki (kid). The town's name is derived from Hale (house) and iwa (a bird that flies over the area). We used this home to escape the heat of the Leeward side of the island in Pearl City where there is little wind. I have not been to Hale'iwa for a long time for a variety of reasons: Traveling around the country or around the world; Stayed w/ relatives in Town or went to different islands; and Family illness. On my first night back home, my cousins and I went looking for grub "fo take out". Hale'iwa is a small town and there wasn't much open around 8 pm. Spaghettini was one of the only places open, and we ordered some sandwiches: Philly cheesesteak; Meatball; and Sausage - $8.95 each, or $12.95 w/ fries and and drink. One of my other cousins ordered a mini spaghetti and meatballs - $7.95 w/ garlic bread. I only took a pic of my food because my cousins are not into Yelp, and they don't understand the concept of taking pics of your food. BTW, they called me "mahu" re: asking to take pics of their food, so I stopped asking :/ My sandwich was OK. The ingredients were tasty, but the portion of sausage was insufficient. After I finished eating the sausage, there was quite a bit of bread remaining: 3 Stars. The fries were pretty good though. The portion was big, and they stayed crispy on the less than one mile drive back to our house: 4 Stars. All locals in Hawaii seek the same thing: Good food & good portions, that are easy on the kala (dollar). We didn't eat here so I won't rate the ambiance. The service was pretty good though. No errors in the orders and the sides are put in a paper bag reminiscent of a small flat shopping bag to keep them warm: 3 Stars. I would come back here and try some pasta vs a sandwich, or a pizza. If I am not mistaken, Spaghettini is one of the few Italian places in Hale'iwa besides Pizza Bob's. read more
