While visiting Oahu I was wanting some good pasta. I did not find it easy to find someplace serving reasonably priced casual Italian. I did not want to put on a suit and pay $80 for alfredo so it was lucky I found Spaghettini. Super nice and Aloha service right from the start. Prices were reasonable and there was a great selection of Pizza, Pasta and even sandwiches to choose from. This seems like a grab and go take home place but they do have a porch with a few tables to sit and eat there. I went with the alfredo which was well cooked al dente linguini. This was well cooked and good but the garlic was on the heavy side. I had never had alfredo with a strong garlic flavor but it was fine. I guess I would put this on par with an Olive Garden as far as taste but happy to support a local business and I think it was a little cheaper than if I had gone to a "chain" place. read more

I saw someone eating a dish that looked so good I had to ask him what he got lol- it turned out to be the shrimp alfredo fettuccine. I ordered it, and it was amazing! Honestly, it might be the best alfredo I've had on this island. The sauce was thick and creamy, and I loved the addition of the mushrooms and pine nuts to it. Haven't been here in a hot minute. Phone ordered a Creamy Penne Pesto and cheesy garlic bread. Pasta needed to be a bit more creamy. Fixed it at home with a splash of heavy cream and some Parmesan. Garlic bread needed to be toasted a little bit longer. Flavor was good. Staff was very friendly both over the phone and at the counter and sold me on adding a cheesecake. This was not my favorite spaghetti place. The sauce was crunchy and did not have great flavor. The bread was decent and I just spooned the sauce on top of it. That's the only way I could eat the sauce. The spaghetti was actually unsalvageable for me, jarred sauce was better than here. The service at the window was fine. She was nice but I'm not even sure what I got charged for, the receipt was just for the total since they hand write their orders still. I ordered the spaghetti and made it a combo which cost about $23. I got a coke and Caesar salad (the dressing was decent, probably the best of what I got). The girl working the counter who took my order didn't give me my soda at the time of purchase and I noticed other people were getting theirs when checking out. With the line I didn't get a chance to get back to her without feeling rude to ask for it. I ended up asking when they came out with my order. They come out with your purchase and call your number so don't lose your ticket stub. There's no going inside, it's just the kitchen but there a sitting area with tables and a high top seating area outside. They do sell pizza slices and I will come back to try that another time while I'm in the North Shore. read more

We were heading back around the island and decided to pick up a pizza on the north shore since there weren't many options near us in the east. I had just eaten but my vegetarian boyfriend was having a hard time finding food and knew he could always rely on pizza. We had a lunch stop in Haleiwa as part of our tour, and Marlon our tour guide recommended Spaghettini, seemingly a pasta and pizza place, for its garlic shrimp. It's a real casual place with a walk up window and covered outdoor seating. The garlic shrimp was indeed amazing. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and peeled...super easy to eat. It beats most of the North Shore food truck garlic shrimp I've tried. Although I would've preferred some rice, it came with bread that you can mop everything up with. The ravioli was also very solid and the chicken tenders were crispy and perfectly fried. They were super busy because a good number of people from our tour bus ended listening to the tour guide and coming here, but the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Trust me, you gotta give it a try! Also, #SUPPORTSMALLBUSINESS Spaghettini is a locally owned and run business by an amazing, generous, family on Oahu. How do I know this? I was born and raised in Waialua! Even before I found out it was a local business, I've loved coming to Spaghettini because they serve big portions with big flavor with the most unique view in Hawaii. When you're driving through Haleiwa it's hard to miss this place because the green lanai literally stands out and forces you to wonder "what is this place?" just because of the placement and structure. It's conveniently located next to the grocery store with lots of parking available. The most unique part of this place is definitely the shaded eating lanai that allows you to take in the sights and sounds of little Haleiwa town. In economic times like these, business tend to cut corners or go down in quality, but Spaghettini, IMO hasn't changed in the almost 20 years I've been coming here! For example, they could easily change their containers to lower the quality, currently the containers they use are high quality, reusable, and microwave safe (like they know you're gonna have leftovers) but they haven't done that. I also have not noticed a portion change, while most business go smaller, they stay fuller. I love to order their alfredo and I always get a protein just so that I'm filled and have leftovers, but even without the protein the portions are well worth the cost. They aren't afraid to accessorize with garlic, parsley, and some kind of nut, but my favorite is the free bread! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a penne pasta in meat sauce, and an order of buffalo wings. Pizza sauce tasted like tomato sauce with no flavor whatsoever. I passed on the pasta, but was told it was more bland than the pizza! How is that even possible??? The only thing that was ok were the wings. Disappointed, but not very surprised. I've been here twice in 2 weeks and both times the food have been extraordinary. I had the chicken alfredo and the cheese ravioli both were cooked well and the sauces were well flavored. Service was quick as they got through the line pretty quick and we only had to wait a few minutes for our food. You can see the food being made in the back after your order it so it only adds to the experience. Cashier was nice and helpful when we asked questions about the different menu items and order sizes. The ambience is nice for the location. It is outdoor seating only. They are located on North Shore where there can be a lot tourist walking around but that's almost anywhere you go in that area. Service on the phone was friendly. It was a Friday and they were very busy. I have 3 stars because there is only one line for ordering, pay, and pickup. It was packed and I got there a few minutes early and had to wait a while for the pizza and was ultimately late getting it to the team. MY EXPERIENCE: I have been here maybe a dozen times since they opened and the visits are usually just far enough apart that I cant remember if this place is good or not. I know it isn't horrid and there is competition across the street as well as pizza perhaps offered by other Haleiwa businesses... in the end, my party and I seem to always come back here. PIZZA: The crust is decent, no complaints and the cheese is sufficient. If there needed to be any improvement it would be the sauce as another reviewer pointed out. Friends and I recently spoke of all the savory possibilities and this sauce falls a bit short... not in a bad way, it just doesn't pack a wallop if you are expecting amazing herbal notes. I feel hat this is a truthful observation as opposed to pizzas that are made where you can't taste the flavor of the sauce because it seems like it was applied with a misting machine (barely existing). This is definitely not the case here. I can't speak for past visits but, the sauce ratio today seemed adequate (September 11, 2023). With that being said, we wouldn't steer pizza craving people, Yelp Elites, family, friends, etc. away from this businesw and I personally would return... maybe even with some fresh italian herbs with me just to see if we could narrow down a specific boost application... but now that only pertains to a specific tastebud set. Ours. SERVICE: The level of service here has ALWAYS been spot on. No matter if it is just me doing a monthly circle island training ride (by bicycle: eat fast so I can race up Pineapple Hill) or if I am with a group (post-sunset chillin'). I did see a sign that said that some orders will be called out of order and to basically relax because they didn't forget about you. I felt that was quite the considerate effort but, why that sign had to be made is what I ponder. Customer assumptions? ‍ PARKING: I have parked next door in front of the hardware store and I am never really sure if thatvis legal or not. I have always mistakenly parked in the lot to the right of the business. Mistakenly because that can be a bit of a challenge when traffic is pumping, like during Pipeline or other events, as well as during peak tourist season. HOURS: I usually roll though here when they are open... between mid afternoon and dinner. I have only been here late once, last February, when they were closing up... and the guy at the window checked to see if they had anything left at all... he didn't have to do that, so it was seriously appreciated by my entire party. Keep your eye on the time and call ahead is the best way to avoid missing out. Oh, and never believe 100% in the hours of any business posted on the internet. While out exploring and just having a day with no agenda we came across this place and figured why not? Parking is a bit tricky but it is every where in town. We had to walk a couple hundred feet but not a big deal . Walk up window service. Pretty straightforward menu pizza, pasta and fountain soda. There was a bit of a line but it went quickly. The server was very pleasant and nice. The day we were there the internet was down so cash only. Don't know if it's a common thing but small town life it's just a thing. All the seating is outside. There is a deck with about 4 -5 tables with chairs and the railing has about 15 or so chairs. There were some larger groups so it can get crowded fast. We ordered 4 slices of pepperoni pizza and it was delivered to our seats at the rails. The food was hot and came out in under 10 minutes. They offer a variety of toppings. The pizza was good, crust was good decent sauce to cheese to topping ratio. As a guy who grew up in NY this was more than I was expecting from pizza in a small town in Hawaii.
