Had a cute and fun experience at Spaghettini! We booked a pizza making lunch. They gave us hats, aprons and tiny rolling pins, 1/2 of the ladies used the chefs hats. Other 1/2 did not want to mess their hair! They started us off with garlic knots and bread. Both very good! We had a choice of wine, sangria, sodas or iced tea. I was driving so I passed on the alcohol. Then we got our individual pizza set ups and a lesson. It was fun! They gave us some toppings, pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers. We made our pizzas and they took them away to be cooked. We then had a choice of salad, Caesar or house. Everyone liked the salad and the dressings. We got our pizzas back in pizza boxes so we could eat some and take some home. Then they came around with a plate of cookies! The owner came over to talk to us, she said that they were planning to have pasta and mozzarella making in the future and told us about the other events that they have. Live music, bingo etc. She was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Sweet and genuine. She also showed concern about the parking situation and offered a reimbursement for the parking garage. We declined that offer, it was only a couple of dollars for the time that we spent there. If I had to be very picky the only one suggestion that I have would be that they add some basil/ oregano/garlic/pepper to the sauce or on the table, the sauce was very plain. Other than that, everything was amazing and so much fun, well worth the price that we paid ($40 pp including gratuities) for everything that we got! read more

This review is based off the most recent taste of their food that my friends catered. They moved into the neighborhood and hosted a meal from Spaghettini. We tried a bunch of their food, and it did not get a better rating. The best thing I had was definitely the Italian Meatballs, which were tender and quite good. However, the sauce was a bit thin. The Chicken Francaise was pretty decent too, but nothing special. Pizzas were fine, but I did not enjoy the crust on either. Rigatoni w/ Vodka Sauce and Steamed Vegetables were average. The worst was probably the Buffalo Wings. Can't imagine the rest of their menu gets much better, so I'll stick with Taglio nearby. read more

I came here for a friend's baby shower this weekend and it was a very lovely experience, no notes! We had the back tent, lots of space heaters so it was quite toasty. The service was excellent - very attentive staff - at least as a guest. The food was superb and very filling. The bread was fluffy and flavorful. The calamari was crisp, salad had roasted red peppers. The pasta alla vodka was reminded me of why it's one of my favorite dishes! Plus putting a huge bowl of parmesan cheese right in front of me without even asking haha. How did they know? I was so full I had to take my entree chicken parm home. I had it as a left over and it was so good too - sauce, cheese, breading everything about it. Everything was very well seasoned, nothing too salty. Finally the cannoli's were soft and delightful! Great place. Had a luncheon with 10 women and we made our own pizza. Came with a salad , cookies and either a glass of wine or soda. Staff were very friendly , and attentive. Pizza was delicious. I had onions and mushrooms on mine. Others had pepperoni . Your choice of toppings. Parking can be a little challenging. Street meter parking and I heard a parking lot to the left of the restaurant. Food here is consistently good for both dine in and take out. They have a brunch menu for the weekend that includes $10 drinks or $25 for bottomless. Their chicken parm is very good. Had a birthday party here. The pizza itself was good and the kids had fun. As for the party itself, as the hosting parent, it was a little embarrassing and I had to ask the person working the party to basically do anything. It took a while to get it going. They gave out the dough and apparently the kids were supposed to wait for someone to show them how to make the pizza. It took a while for someone to come so the kids had already started doing their own thing. I had to ask for more drinks, plates, napkins, and for the table to be cleaned up. I cleaned up a majority of it myself multiple times. I was given probably 6 dessert plates for cupcakes when we had 12 kids plus parents. I went and grabbed some myself because the person was gone. He then came over and goes oh we were really busy last night some of the plates might not be that clean. I looked and went ewww can I have paper ones then. How is that a thing? How did they go to the clean pile then? Some of the parents felt the same about the server when they made comments to me about me having to do stuff. I found out after the fact that the gratuity was already included for him, which totally made me feel like oh, he was getting 18% no matter if he did anything or not, so it all made sense why he put in almost no effort. The menu offers a great variety of Italian favorites at very reasonable prices with generous portions. I ordered the baked chicken with spinach and mashed potatoes, and the portion size was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. For dessert, I had the homemade tiramisu, and it was absolutely delicious. It was the most generous portion of tiramisu I've ever been served anywhere, and as someone who orders tiramisu whenever it's available, that says a lot. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. My friend and I spent four hours catching up after 16 years apart, and we never once felt rushed. The staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Thank you to everyone at Spaghettini for creating such a warm and comfortable experience. There are not many places that make customers feel genuinely welcomed, relaxed, and free to enjoy meaningful time with the people they're with without feeling hurried or overlooked. Came during the restaurant week and for $39 per person for the pre-fix menu they have is such a great deal! The restaurant is so clean, the staff are so friendly especially our server, Angela. We also met Wendy who is the owner of the restaurant and she was so sweet and almost made me feel like she's hosting us at her home. She even gave us a complimentary cookies. I had the chicken milanese and the chicken is perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of breading. The salad was so fresh and balsamic vinaigrette was sweet and tangy. The bolognese sauce had the perfect consistency and meaty with the fresh pasta. My daughter had the drunken chicken alla vodka had the creamy and buttery sauce and the chicken was so good and so fresh! The appetizers: shrimp cocktail, Mozzarella & tomatoes and fried calamari were oh so fresh! We truly enjoyed our dinner and meeting Wendy and Angela made our dinner more special. This might be my favorite restaurant in Mineola. Not just because the food is absolutely delicious (the beef Bolognese with rigatoni is out of this world) but the staff and owners are all great. Went to Spaghettini in Mineola NY today for Sunday Brunch. Got in just before the St. Patrick's Day parade around noon. The place upon entering has a pizza setup and then inside benches and tables for diners and a bar on the right side. Outside was a set up in a tent for diners, decorated with the Irish St. Patricks day theme, for what I'm sure was a busy time after what I found to be a very nice parade. ( see pix) We ate inside at a table. Elizabeth was what can I say , adorable and a good waitress. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, waffles with strawberries, coffee, and pineapple juice off of the Sunday Brunch menu 11-4pm. The pancakes and waffle small yet light and tasty. 2 dishes just the right amount for 2 people. They did not have the chocolate croissant that day for dessert. Wonderful lunch! We were visiting loved ones at the NYU hospital and came here for lunch. As west cost Italians, Jeremy was a wonderful guide, we asked him "whats the best" and boy did he give us good recommendations and excellent service. Ordered family style- salad(with a Delious Italian vinaigrette and roasted bell peppers) , garlic knots, amazing margarita pizza slice, with bolognese, and penne Al la vodka(a little sweet but with some red pepper flakes was delicious). Ended with espresso, cannolis and a cannoli crème tiramisu. Jeremy did not disappoint! It was a great spread! So good that I took home some cannolis (filling on the side) and some slices of the drunken Sicilian pizza home to my husband in California. I recently visited Spaghettini for the first time and had a decent experience. Located in Mineola, this restaurant offers a blend of fine dining Italian cuisine and classic pizza by the slice. The interior is spacious, featuring both table and booth seating, along with an outdoor patio where they host events and live music, reminiscent of a classic Long Island pizzeria. The staff seemed friendly, though my interaction with them was brief--mainly taking orders and delivering food promptly. Spaghettini offers a modest selection of slices. I opted for a regular cheese slice and an eggplant parm slice, while my brother tried the vodka sicilian slice. The restaurant is clean, and there's paid street parking nearby. -- PLEASE READ: I am creating a new Pizza Review Series in which I will be rating slices from over 30 different pizzerias in my local area in Nassau County, Long Island. I will use a regular cheese slice as a baseline and a specialty slice as added depth to the review. These rating are solely based on my opinion and taste preference so please do not be offended if one of my ratings does not align with your opinion on the pizza. I am excited to have Spaghettini as my fourth review in this series! #4 Spaghettini Pizza Trattoria Cheese slice: Thin and crispy with no flop, perfect for folding. It had just the right amount of cheese and sauce, although there was a bit more oil than I prefer. Overall, I rate this slice a 9/10. Specialty slice (Eggplant Parm): The slice was thin and crispy, but unfortunately, the eggplant slices were too thick, causing toppings to fall off when lifted. Inconsistent heating left some parts piping hot and others cold. The flavor leaned heavily towards raw eggplant rather than a well-composed eggplant parm. I doubt I would order this slice again. I stumbled upon Spaghettini when attempting Taglio across the street and decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. My daughters got plain slices (I know they're boring) but the sizes of the slices were nice and big which is hard to come by these days and the taste was delicious. I especially liked the sauce. I got myself a drunken grandma slice which I imagine I'll be dreaming of. Crispy pieces of breaded chicken cutlets topped with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella on a thin square slice. The hubby brought home a personal buffalo chicken pizzetta and it was fantastic! With a paper thin, cracker-like crust topped with generous amounts of buffalo and a tasty buffalo sauce. Came to see some music but the food was excellent!! We had spaghetti and meatballs and pasta primavera in garlic and oil. I'm very particular on my meatballs- and these were perfect! Very hard to do for me. Red sauce was outstanding. With the primavera, I asked for linguine al dente, and despite the fact that the restaurant was packed to the gills, my pasta was cooked as I asked (something that's hit or miss in other places). We shared the mint chocolate chip tartufo-type thing...Heaven- nice center of fudge. The entertainment was stellar (John of the Hambones) and our table was singing, dancing and smiling the whole time. Thank you, we will be back. read more

My boyfriend and I went to Spaghettini a few weeks ago. We sat outside because their outdoor patio area was all lit up and it was a great ambiance to eat. I started with a nice glass of sav blanc and my boyfriend got a beer nothing crazy. We shared the mussels they were absolutely amazing and great way to start the meal. Then for entrees we wanted to just split more things to get the different tastes of everything. We split a special app, the Farmstand peach with burrata arugula salad which was so fresh and delicious. We also split their Supreme Pizza and this was by far one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! We also decided to split the Porterhouse Steak which is on their special menu. This steak was absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection and priced very reasonably. Even though we were incredibly full we ended with espresso martinis and some cannolis and they did not disappoint. I will be returning to Spaghettini in the near future. Mineola is very lucky to have a place like Spaghettini as a local restaurant. I have been here a few times and always enjoyed myself. Joe, the owner, took great initiative when the pandemic hit and once outdoor dining was allowed set up a beautiful outdoor setting with a large tent. 10 of us came here for a Kiwanis dinner meeting (held outdoors) and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I had a wonderful sole franchise with rigatoni. There were many different dishes that night including a huge salad that got rave revues and a few orders of chicken cutlet parm which also received huge reviews along with the fact that the portions are ample size. We sat outside the tent which was holding a big retirement party. There was plenty of music and singing so we also had entertainment. Our servers did a nice job making sure that everything was good and we did not need any drink refills. Joe and his brother are seasoned restauranteurs and do a nice job making everyone feel comfortable and enjoy their meals. On a side note... During the height of the pandemic, they were collecting money to purchase meals that they brought to the hospital [located down the block] on a regular basis.... KUDOs to you gentlemen! read more

4.5 stars overall: A wonderfully delicious surprise find. I happened to be in this neck of the woods late in the evening so I was looking for a dinner spot for my family at 8:45pm. Saw the lights on and called to confirm they were still open as many places were closing between 9pm and 10pm. Lucky for us, they had plenty of space -- indoor and outdoor options available. They have a lovely well lit outdoor seating area situated in the back of the building that stretches to around the corner. Menu ranged from pizza slices to full on entrees like seafood fra diablo, eggplant parmesan, and baked ziti. Or smaller bites like the jumbo rice ball and stuffed calzones. Great dining spot for both small or large groups. Service was friendly and the recommended entrees were spot on. Must try: the penne a la vodka, the seafood fra diablo and the clams with white wine sauce. I picked angel hair pasta as my choice of pasta but you have plenty others to choose from. We were so full between eating the complimentary bread and our entrees, we had no room for dessert. I spotted a delectable and freshly made Cannoli dessert plate. I'll return for that!! Note: the jumbo rice ball was indeed jumbo. Great sauce and size if you're feeling peckish but not entirely hungry.
