This is a quiet, cozy restaurant with plenty of room for a party or intimate dinners. The bonus to having delicious food, they have pasta night and chicken nights! The menu was pretty extensive. You select your entree with a salad. Dessert and coffee included on the price too! All for less than $20 a head. I had a great time with the company I was with and we enjoyed ourselves on the filling and yummy food - including linguine and clam, pasta with spinach, mushroom, tomatoes and vodka sauce, baked ziti

margherita pizza, menu says $24, credit card was charged for $26.

The pizza has nothing special, sauce is just okay plus the crust is too thick. The charge doesn't match the price on the menu which was odd. Don't have much to say and would not return.

Ordered a slice of Sicilian at the counter. Lots of clean booths with partitions. Slices were delicious. They have table service and the salads & pastas were over flowing.

What can I say... I am a stickler for a proper greeting when I walk into any establishment. This was the first time I purchased at Gino's Pizza and will certainly not be the last. It was also easy to park here... While street parking was full, the side streets are close and had plenty of available spaces. I walked in to the "Pizzeria Side" of the business and there were at least five guys behind the counter, and I got five hellos when I came in. All friendly and outwardly happy to see me. When I told them I was a first timer and lived locally that all smiled and asked "why?" This side of the location is the classic Pizzeria, booths and a counter loaded with every pizza you can imagine. I pretty sure that if you can think of it, they have it or will definitely make it for you. everyone behind the counter was extremely friendly and enjoyed speaking with the crowd waiting for their take out order. They were busy, I mean, really busy. Lots and lots of people picking up and now I know why. There food is really good. Did I mentioned that Jerry gave me a slice of pizza to show me how good their food is. It was good... thin crispy crust with plenty of flavor from their delicious sauce. It is definitely a place for the locals, everyone seems to know everyone here, both guests and staff/ I brought home a Chicken Parm and Francaise. Both of these dishes were excellent. The part were delicious strips of breast meet and the Francaise were larger cutlets. They also give you a large portion that I finished the next day. I am really looking forward to a return trip(s). They have a beautiful menu and I plan on trying all of it.

Really enjoyed myself at Gino's on Monday night, the owner Frank was very nice, then it was handed off to John. He was also very good, the pizza is one of the best in Long Island, food is very good. Service was excellent I love the veal Sorrentino the light marsala wine sauce was very good,, rigatoni Florentina is also very good the portobello mushrooms and cherry tomatoes., Desserts were fresh, overall a very pleasant experience

Take out family meal ... tossed salad

Decided to finally order Gino's family take out meal ... glad I did. The whole meal was yum!!! I added an order of garlic knots to my order cuz I can't order anything from Gino's and NOT order their garlic knots. My favorite thing to eat in Williston Park is Gino's garlic knots. See ... love love LOVE the garlic knots. Ok, let me get back to Gino's family meal. It easily feeds a family of 4. The trays weren't deep but there was still enough food. Decided on the tossed salad, which we really enjoyed. The salad dressing .. delish!! I do wish there was more rigatoni alla vodka cuz that was the family fave. The chicken parm was flavorful and good, the pieces weren't big or anything. All in all, will definitely order the family meal again. Great price for the amount of food.

Fried calamari entree with penne pasta beside.

I was heading home in terrible traffic, eventually needing to find a stopping point with a craving for Italian food. When I can across Gino's I knew they usually have good cooking. I opted for an old fave from Vincent's Clam bar, the calamari and pasta entree. This wasn't nearly the best I've had. The squid was tender enough but ringlets are extra large cone shaped, lots of tentacles (which is okay because I enjoy them) that were very large as well; and the sauce was tangy and tasty, but kind of watery. Penne was plain, but the sauce made it fine. Might've been better off sticking with deluxe pizza slices.

Chicken cutlet parmigiana hero, slice (regular & Sicilian) and garlic knots
    Cecilia T.

My husband was craving pizza last Sunday night so I suggested that we give this place a try for dinner since we live close by. This was your typical neighborhood pizza store opened by a real old school Italian owner. It was located in a central location in the town of Williston Park and there was plenty of residential parking. Pricing was very cheap and service was great with a family feel. We were the only customers eating in so there was no need to fight for a table or wait to be seated. One negative part was that they did not have a full selection of pizza since it was late Sunday night so our choices were limited. I got a traditional chicken cutlet parmigiana hero while my husband got 1 regular pizza slice, 1 Sicilian slice and an order of garlic knots. Although we have had better chicken parm (theirs is really messy-I had to eat it with a fork and knife) and pizza elsewhere, everything still tasted good and we will be back again to try some of the other things on the menu.

I was driving so I passed on the alcohol. Then we got our individual pizza set ups and a lesson. It was fun! They gave us some toppings, pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers. We made our pizzas and they took them away to be cooked. We then had a choice of salad, Caesar or house. Everyone liked the salad and the dressings. We got our pizzas back in pizza boxes so we could eat some and take some home. Then they came around with a plate of cookies! The owner came over to talk to us, she said that they were planning to have pasta and mozzarella making in the future and told us about the other events that they have. Live music, bingo etc. She was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Sweet and genuine. She also showed concern about the parking situation and offered a reimbursement for the parking garage. We declined that offer, it was only a couple of dollars for the time that we spent there. If I had to be very picky the only one suggestion that I have would be that they add some basil/ oregano/garlic/pepper to the sauce or on the table, the sauce was very plain. Other than that, everything was amazing and so much fun, well worth the price that we paid ($40 pp including gratuities) for everything that we got!

This review is based off the most recent taste of their food that my friends catered. They moved into the neighborhood and hosted a meal from Spaghettini. We tried a bunch of their food, and it did not get a better rating. The best thing I had was definitely the Italian Meatballs, which were tender and quite good. However, the sauce was a bit thin. The Chicken Francaise was pretty decent too, but nothing special. Pizzas were fine, but I did not enjoy the crust on either. Rigatoni w/ Vodka Sauce and Steamed Vegetables were average. The worst was probably the Buffalo Wings. Can't imagine the rest of their menu gets much better, so I'll stick with Taglio nearby.
