Nice location. Clean and relaxing atmosphere inside. They were pleasant and made you feel comfortable. Went on a Wednesday afternoon. Not too many employees but there were only two other customers at the time so my mother and I were tended to in a timely manner. Good selection of nail polish, loved the pedicure and wax I received. I was in town on business that ended up lasting over a month so I had the opportunity to get a fill in and pedicure twice while I was in Lake Mary. Being from out of town and being used to my nail technician I was hesitant to try a new place. I read the great reviews and decided to go to sparkle and had the best pedicure I've ever had. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and the attention to detail is fabulous. They have different types of pedicures and the massage that comes with the pedicure is excellent lasting a few minutes versus the normal quick massage at other places. I have been to every local nail salon, but sparkle is the best. Vy and Anna always do an excellent job. It is on the small side but extremely clean with a really cute Decor. Their instruments are autoclaved and come to your table still in their sterile packs. Sweet, talented techs. read more

I liked that they do eyebrow threading and they did a good job with it. Nail wise I was rushed through and they did not do a good job at all. Appointments are not treated as appointments. They will take walk ins before appointments and rush the appointments. This is not the place for me. Very cute nail salon, clean because it's brand new. Nail tech did not fulfill service as advertised on their brochure, so I pointed it out very politely (oops we forgot to do the paraffin or the hot stone!). She proceeded to get very defensive and had an attitude when I read her their brochure verbatim. It really wasn't a big deal but her attitude over the situation was pretty irritating. After she painted my toes she did the hot stone massage, which I told her not to worry about because it was already 15 minutes after they closed plus I did not want it to ruin my newly polished toes. At the end of my service she charged my five dollars more than the listed price on the menu which I didn't have a chance to dispute because she literally took my card out of my hand and swiped and did a straight line were my signature should have been. Overall experience left a terrible taste in my mouth and I'll never return. Too bad, because it's a great location and a cute little place. read more

Have been to this salon twice, 1st time was amazing and perfect pedicures but the 2nd time was a whole different story. This seems to be the norm around here get great service the first time if you are a fresh new face to the nail salon and then come back as a repeat customer and get so so service. Went on a Thursday as I had a special dinner that night and it was packed with a bridal party that they took time on and spent time with. My mom and I sit down in the chairs and my pedicure and gel manicure were done around the same time as the bridal showers manicures were ending. I felt rushed. They did a so so job on the massages nothing great but not terrible and barely but pressure when scrubbing the dead skin off the bottom of my feet. When the girl went to put my shoes on I said wait I have other sandals that just slip on no back. She insisted on using the ones with a back. Needless to say both my big toes got messed up and the solution was to just put clear coat over till I said that was not satisfactory then they only put another coat of color (which was metallic) and said ok good. They would not remove the messed up paint and redo it. My moms paint job is filled with little tiny bubbles. The gel manicure which is supposed to be a traditional manicure with gel paint was so so and my gel polish only lasts barley a week (both times). The manicure felt rushed and I had to argue with her about how I wanted my nails to look. Needless to say a week later and I have hang nails (which I never get) and my one finger got so bad it's puffy and red. Also from the pedicures about 3 days later on both my mom and I little pin holes appeared all over the bottom of our feet (heard to be positive that it's from the pedicures but odd it shows up right after). It's not the worst salon but not the best, make sure there is no one in there so time is taken with you. read more

I stopped in from a shopping trip to avoid traffic on I4. I didn't need an appointment, I just walked right in and was helped. Anin (I couldn't quite get her name) did a wonderful job. Bella did an excellent job on my pedicure. She also suggested we try gel nails again. I have weak nails and both acrylic and gel have not been kind to my nail beds. She said they were taken off incorrectly, if that was the case. When it's time to take them off she said she could do it without hurting the natural nail. I hope she is right because I really like them. There is one other product to try if the gels hurts my nail. Bella was efficient and professional. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I had an appointment for myself and two people that were with me; we weren't helped for about 30 minutes. After our mani/pedis were started it was very clear that they were trying to rush us out because while I was in the chair getting a pedicure another nail tech came over to the side of my chair to start my nails. She put a magazine on my lap to use as a table and then set a bowl of water on the magazine to soak my nails. The water spilled all over me when the nail tech doing my pedicure was having me move. After I cleaned the spilled water off of myself the nail tech brought over the black light to dry my gel polish and again set it up on a magazine on my lap. My sister was also with me and she got SNS with tips. Her nail tech was slapping her hands when he wanted her to move them and yanking on her fingers, he also made almost every finger bleed. This was the most uncomfortable experience we have ever had at a salon and will never go back. read more

Yikes. I've been getting my nails done (acrylic) for 25 years. Never in that time have I ever gotten any kind of infection or fungus....until Sparkle. I recently switched to Sparkle. At the second visit, the man cut my cuticle with the drill on 2 fingers. "So sorry" he said and carried on. That night I went home, washed my hands and put Neosporin and band-aids on the cuts. The next day I developed an itchy rash all around the cuts and around my cuticles. My Dermotologist diagnosed me with a staph infection, put me on penicillin and gave me some cream. 6 weeks later I still have the rash and have spent $225 in creams, medicines and doctor visits. It took a steroid cream to finally make the rash recede. I will NEVER go to this salon again. Ladies, beware. Look to see if the equipment is soaking in sterilizing solution before you go to any nail salon. This was a very expensive and painful lesson for me. read more
