Her nails are fresh and you can clearly see the gel peeling away from her skin around the perimeter Of the nail. And the CUT on her, her nail is not irritation or sensitivity. If a nail is filed correctly, she would not be bleeding in a localized area in that nature. That's not irritation. TF? Very unprofessional to gaslight her. I have been frequenting this place for over a year and have recommended this place multiple times. But as of recently, I've been getting knicked, improperly filed down and had less than ideal results. The service has been inconsistent and it's sad to see this place go downhill. It's even more sad to see that management has not only gaslit me, but very clearly is doing it to other women.

I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but the owner is happy to embellish me when I get a wild hair for design - think festival or holiday time. Since I'm customarily boring, I always tell her I'm planning design as early as possible so she can schedule appropriately & I don't F Up the remainder of her schedule. She can do aaalllll the things, but if you wait until go-time to request some outrageousness, she may not be able to work it in. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-20 minutes. If they can't get you in , they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. I have two primary reasons for sticking with a nail salon 1. Quality work. 2. Real people. I never understood people who don't communicate what they expect or say, "whatever you think is best" & then complain when a service isn't what they "expected." Every tech at Lotus has wanted to understand what I want and has worked their best to provide. Every one of them have been uber-nice & respectful to me if I decided on a mid-service change.....they were even nice about a post-service change once, but its probably because that is an extremely rare occurrence for me and I try to be nice & respectful in-kind. You can tell she really cares about her clients and their satisfaction and made me feel like I was her number one client. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming. My technician, Loan, did a great job. She was thorough and didn't try to rush the process. I highly recommend this salon.

Thankfully, the technician who worked on my daughter's toenails understood what I was asking and agreed that the area needed more polish and fixed it. I appreciate that the technician helped resolve the issue, but the interaction with management and the lady who did her nails could have been handled better. When a customer politely points out a small fix, it should be taken seriously instead of dismissed.

Im sorry to say that I was not happy with this salon. Everyone was pleasant but if you have natural nails be careful. the person I had treated my natural nails as if they were acrylic. They used a very coarse nail file on my already damaged natural nails and insisted on filing the face of my nail since they were so ripped up from previous shellac. I brought my own expensive toxic free ZOYA that is specifically made to help heal natural nails that have been ruined by fake nails. The nail tech said it was not professional quality. Obviously he didn't know anything about ZOYA. I asked him for a french manicure and he insisted on making a very thick white line on my very short paper thin nails. I asked him to make the line thinner and he hardly took of any more. I gave up asking and when I was done there I immediately went to another nail spa and had them redo the polish. There was absolutely no massage of the hands or fingers and cold water was used for my nail soak. He was polite. read more

WOW!!!! Love this place. I have been waiting for it to open, and now they are here. Best place I have experienced, ever. Great selection of drinks, attentive staff, clean environment, ask the owner about the extensive venting system that pulls any toxins or poisons out of the air. They literally vent every 12 inches where they do manicure or pedicure. They offer both custom made traditional pedicures with massage, and European style with copper pots that I have only seen on Real Housewives, and in Los Angeles. Did I mention, I absolutely love this place. They are growing slowly to insure customer satisfaction, so please be patient with them. You will not be disapointed. read more

My daughters and granddaughter went over the weekend and LOVED IT. I went on Monday afternoon to have a pedicure and ended up with a Milk & Honey with Chocolate pedi package. Wonderful, wonderful. Danny was great, he massaged, scrubbed and painted my toes. The smells of the coconut oils, lemongrass hot towels and the orange scrub were so luscious. I was told that they want to use more organic and less chemicals in the salon - that is a plus in my book. Another plus, you can get an "adult" beverage here while you are being pampered. Best nail salon I've found in San Antonio! Very clean and friendly staff. I have been to several places that do a rush job, so you have to come back a week or two later. Here they take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. Ask for YONG...she's amazing! I never have problems with chipping or breaking. When I asked her how long she had been licensed, she said she had not gotten her license yet. So I asked her how she got hired if she wasn't licensed, and she said her boyfriend was the manager (Ryan) so he hired her anyway. Anyway, she would barely talk and when she did, it was one word answers or minimal effort. Seemed annoyed that I was trying to have a conversation with her so I quit talking. Because of the poor job she did, she's not licensed, and wasn't friendly, I won't be going back .
