Clean, bright, beautiful spot. I've been back about four times. The staff is incredibly friendly and the services are always completed very well, if they do take a bit of time. It is a good idea to book an appointment. Walk ins are welcome, but who wants to wait? This last time, my boyfriend and I were walk ins that the team managed to fit in. His basic manicure was quick and thorough. My nails were a mess when I walked in. I'd visited another salon in Houston while on a business trip and they'd seriously done a number on my nails. I wish I had a before pic. It was baaaaad. First, I'd asked for dip and they did acrylic. I was in a rush so I went with it but...not great. Kiki didn't have an exact match to the ruby sparkle color of the other salon, so we decided on a dazzling silver ombré fill that she made look seamless. So pretty! She also fixed the terrible shaping of the other salon and gave me uniform almond shaped nails. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is what the male nail tech did to my nails at Sparkle!! You tell me what you think!! I went to get my nails done for New Years Eve but ended up crying because my nails were horrific!! On top of that, he was rude and I tried to strike up a conversation with him because he was in a sour mood. At first he was rude and defensive but then started to be cool which I thought was great because we had a fun conversation!! -- I wanted him in a good mood while he's working on my nails but this guy just doesn't know how to do nails at all!! I even question if he's been to cosmo school or even had a license to do nails! He did my manicure and pedicure used a drill- didn't push my cuticles back or trim them. He did do a decent short massage on one foot/leg was quick with the other. Even my pedicure was a mess and he just smeared it with his finger then female tech came to fix it since he started on someone else. He didn't have me dry my nails- and the coat was too think to dry fast. I tried to warn the new girl that came in but couldn't get her attention. My sister's nails turned out great but a female nail tech did them- forgot her name so just make sure not to go with the male tech. Male tech: if you read this I wish you the best of luck, you're a cool guy but please have someone retrain you to do nails or maybe doing nails is just not for you! You seem miserable doing nails and the results reflect that. I wish I had a good experience and could give 5 stars but this experience was disappointing! read more

I hate doing this, but this experience was really just awful. 1. Artist was aggressive with his handshake when I introduced myself. At one point he literally dragged me by the hand to the color selections and I had to pull my hand back. 2. He cut me. Picture attached 3. He referred to me as baby, sweetie, honey, and mama even after I told him my name. 4. My color is patchy and the nail art is only ok. 5. Water in my foot bath was almost cold. 6. They were doing renovations(tearing down a half wall) 4 feet from where I was drying my feet. 7. They apologized for the raucous laughing that was coming from the back and yelled for them to close the door from the front of the shop and had no problem bantering around dirty jokes at one another. 8. Horrible horrible horrible.... I've been coming here to help their business since they opened and everytime it's something. This last time I took my daughter and they were absolutely neglectful. My pedicure was stared and then the lady said she was leaving and coming back to finish in 30min?!! Then my daughters nails were uneven and crooked... when we told the technician about it.. he kept talking over us and wouldn't listen. He started to file the sides making it worse. She took her time to find out exactly what I wanted, her attention to detail was so appreciated and noticeable the whole service, she carried just the right amount of good conversation and my nails turned out beautiful, shaped perfectly, uniform all around, best set of nails I've had in several years! I found my new Salon and I'm not gong anywhere else Ana was SO amazing and so friendly and went the Xtra mile on a basic pedicure with massage that was so needed Then Zane was absolutely amazing and my nails are stunning. But I don't even care bc they were sooo friendly and they relocated from other states as well and my experience and conversation with them was so good...I was worried what the salons might be like here at first, but not anymore, this one is in my backyard and they are fabulous! How does one even start such a HORRIBLE review?! I work in the service industry, I rarely try to complain. I work my ass off to be able to afford getting my nails done in the first place as a working mother. I just moved into this area and found a decently reviewed place, just to be absolutely disgusted by the outcome. Switched people in between the work, spent 4 hours just to have a horrible outcome, DUST in my nails from the dirty nail light and not to mention the nail tech LAUGH at his disgusting work. For my nails to come out looking like NOTHING I asked for and for the guy to blame it on the color I chose and the powder I chose. Foul. I wish I could give a negative review instead of 1 star. Not to mention I still had to pay $55 for trash work and trash service. Best believe I am calling the owner tomorrow and getting my money back. If you like HORRIBLE, TRASH service do please come to this place. I'll never return and i'll be telling everyone I know about this shitty excuse for a nail place. Do better. read more

They are amazing at design beautiful nails but sad to say quality wasn't great ... they broke within the first day. I went back to repair but for me it's a 30min commute and then after fixing it again it broke the next day. I usually get my nails done so it's not that I was rough . A friend recommended this place because I love glitz and sparkles ! But what girl doesn't. Ohhhh and the staff is amazing .. the customer service and they are friend and helpful! Respectful also! I took my infant child and when he started to cry they let me feed him / change him and were kind to not complain / make faces.. they offered to help watch and play with him. Beware! Sparkles doesn't sparkle with cleanliness. There are health codes that require equipment to be sanitized between uses. My technician pulled her tools from a roll cart not from a sealed and assured sanitized packet. Not a good sign that as I enter just as they are opening that they are sloshing haphazardly a wet mop around us. The rest arms and side trays to the chairs looked like a heard of young children had come and snacked on them with no clean up afterwards. Further, this was one of the worse manicures that I've ever had. I paid for the grade up from the basic but got what I could have gotten at home which equates to less than the basic in the salon. There were a lot of factors to consider with my 1st experience there. Let's just say that first impressions were super bad, more than bad, let's use the word disastrous. It was a lot of factors and everyone was at fault. I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to make a scene about anything and I am also not wired to do that either. The staff all knew that it was a bad deal. How do I keep this short? I went in to get my acrylic nails soaked off, and to get my natural nails manicured and then shellac polish. Normally ... services like this take a total of 1 hour ... maybe 1.5 hours. I was there for 3.5 hours and left with bubbly nails that peeled off that night. There were issues with the machine, issues with the nail tech, issues with the schedule in general (so it seemed), and issues with people being sick and out. The flu was infiltrating everyone ... I understand. Truly! I called them the next day and the manager said I could come in on a Sunday and she'd take care of me and remembered me when I left. They didn't charge me for the soak off because of everything that went wrong, and they did offer to fix my nails for me. At that point ... I didn't want to go back, I didn't feel good, and first impressions were pretty bad and I was disappointed due to the rave reviews that this place had. read more

Worth the little drive from where I live... this was my second visit and so far extremely happy! First time I was there I complained about previous places I have had my nails done at cause they didn't last(lift-break) don't know what he did but my nails didn't break or lift before my next fill. Went in today for a fill and pedi...Nancy did a wonderful job on fill and Kim best pedi I have ever had! This nail salon is not great at all. I had my nails done with the dip powder and not even three days after, my nails chipped on three fingers. After a week, almost all nails were chipped. Other places I've been to in the area last at least 3 weeks. This was a terrible experience, and I will never go back. read more

I love this place. Anna is THE BEST at pedicures and if you haven't gotten a massage from her, you're missing out! They're all very kind there and I always have a fun, relaxing time. I've had some of my nails break or dip cracks but they'll always fix them. Out of all the times I've gotten nails done there, it's only happened a few times (where it wasn't me accidentally breaking them) and I think sometimes that just happens but they're always great when I come in to get them fixed.
