I feel so discriminated! The gentleman didn't even make sure that my nails was the same size on each finger. While I was sitting down doing my pedicure, I had to move my top body because he was doing my manicure. I was so uncomfortable. Then I got my face wax and the lady spilled some wax on my hair, she didn't even take care of it.

I had a great time getting my nails done here, and having a little alone time. I came in as a walk in at 9:30am and was seated right away. They have a large menu of services to choose from and your choice comes with a drink. Henry took care of me and did a wonderful job, my nails look great. And as an introvert he didn't mind that I wasn't super chatty and was just enjoying the experience. It had great decor and lots of chairs. The pedicure chairs were awesome and give a great massage. And it didn't smell like a nail salon either which was wonderful. Nice big TVs to watch and two bars to sit at too. Wonderful place. I was able to get a classic mani and pedi for $45.

Linn did an amazing job on my ombré nails. She took her time and really made sure I was happy with my nails. The spa made me feel like a client and not just a number.

Nail tech shaved them down to where they look a week old. They got bumped with the air table and instead of getting it fixed the right way the nail tech just put a dot on the spot that was messed up and did not blend it in. So disappointed and and, I have trip to see a college with my daughter and the stop at another college to visit my son.

So I normally go here to get my nails done and they do a great job, the salon is beautiful and very relaxing. Just don't get your eye brows done here. The room they have set up for waxing is very dark the chair was comfortable but the lady did not take her time doing my brows and even missed quite a few hairs that I ended up having to pluck myself and she did not apply any ointment on my lids after she finished!! Left my right eye lid irritated and puffy had to go home and use petroleum jelly for it because it started to burn and I tipped her 5$ on top of that just don't get your brows done here.

Jenny and Dat always go above and beyond for my sister and my mother and myself. They are extremely attentive to us, and always give us what we ask for. They make nice conversation, give great massages, and our gentle with our hands. They're very generous with their prices and always ask us if we want something to drink!! We have been loyal to them for over a year and they are such amazing people Everyone who works here is super sweet and does their job the best they can. I highly recommend this spa read more

This place is absolutely amazing! Super friendly, they take their time and do it right. They treat you right. Wonderful experience! This is not a cheap and fast getting get out place. Not expensive very reasonable. High-quality wonderful vibe. I would suggest setting an appointment. They are busy at times and they will schedule a staff accordingly. Never again !! Nail salons have become a "dime a dozen" popping up all around. Sat, August 13, 2022 three of us went in here with an appointment. I should have known the reduced staff (compared to previous visits) would likely result in reduced quality of service. I wish I had been wrong. There were three on staff. The owner (female) was working on one of us. When other customers arrived, she quickly cut corners and blended in finishing our service while starting on another. You could tell she knew she had done a disservice because she continued asking "is everything ok?" While the person in our party said "yes" to avoid confrontation, everything was not ok. Had it been me, I would have called her out right then and there but was asked not to while there. I'm done !! read more

Believe the reviews! Extremely rude, left with just tips after having my cuticles painfully filed off, told my mail length "won't look good", talked down to being mansplained because I questioned the application method being different from my typical 'shellac manicure with tips' routine & so much more but ultimately left the nightmare being called an IDIOT! This is after I remained polite, thanking the tech for his time & paying $20. I've never in my life experienced such disrespect! read more

I have been coming to the The Heights Nail Spa on Bulverde Road for years. I have never had a bad pedicure or manicure - only amazing service and amazing nails. They are very particular about cleanliness and keeping materials/tools sterilized. The salon inside is gorgeous, the massage pedicure chairs are so comfortable and relaxing. My favorite Nail Salon in San Antonio!! looking forward to the world becoming safe again and pandemic being over. Until then I'll fantasize about how great my nails are going to be! My daughter got her nails done there today and the nail tech literally drilled my daughter's fingers! I had to put medicine on 4 of her fingers! This is ridiculous! Be careful if you choose to get a manicure at this place! Disgraceful! read more

Not a terrible experience but also not the best. I Was happy they were able to work me in quickly on a Saturday however there was a coupon offer for 10% off first time customers on yelp when you check in that they did NOT accept. They said it was old and they wouldn't allow it. They need to get it taken down then...also the girl that did my pedicure was really nice but way too gentle on my feet/massage. read more

Excellent pedicure. Probably one of the best I've had. They offer complimentary drinks as well. It didn't feel rushed and the 15 minute massage felt wonderful. I'd rate it 5 Stars but wasn't aware that they charged $20 extra for shellac. My exact facial expression when my deluxe pedi went from $47 to $67!! Holy hell! I've never had to pay that much extra for shellac! EVER!! Aside from the price shock, it was a great experience. Although because of the price I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Glam!! I'm loyal to my regular pedicure spa but when in a crunch I came here because they were open till 8. Called ahead and said I was on my way. The hostess was very polite and told me to come in even though it was approaching closing time (cue the music). Two ladies got us seated right away and offered us drinks. White wine pls. The pedicures were pricey with the most inexpensive being $35 and the highest being $75 I believe. I went with the $45 hot stone and was like yes! Side note...the chairs were possibly the best I've experienced at a nail salon. They were smooth like butter and massaged deep in your back. The place is really beautiful for a nail salon...it's truly inviting. I'm down to be a repeat customer if the service remains high and they keep offering discounts (teacher, military, etc). Btw...I got the 'Presidential Pink' OPI color in honor of this historic election year. read more

Worst nail spa ever!!!! Inexperienced technicians and overpriced services. First time I came in, it was apparent that the girls didn't know how to do nails. I went with my sister because it was close by my home. We walked out of there with terrible looking nails! Uneven edges and poor paint job to say the least. It looked like my 6 year old niece did my nails!!! I went in for a second time to try their eye brow waxing...again...big mistake!!! They almost took an eyebrow completely off!!! She said it was already uneven...cmon...so you waxed an eyebrow almost completely off???? Then they proceeded to charge me full price! Don't come here unless you want to walk out jacked up!!!! I was desperately in need of a pedicure so I used Yelp to search nail salons in my area. The Heights was very clean, everything was sterilized, pedicure and massage were wonderful. I was offered complimentary cocktails and the atmosphere was really nice. I would've given this a five star rating, but they would not honor the check-in Yelp! coupon. The 10% discount was definitely an incentive for me to try a new place. The owner told me they repeatedly contacted Yelp! to remove this coupon. I believe a business should honor an online coupon like this, as it helped me choose their establishment in the first place. read more

Pedi starts at 31$ which is a great price. I opted for the deluxe pedi, they did s great job and the staff is very friendly. You also get a complimentary beverage from their nice selection of cocktails on their menu. read more

Pros: Beautiful salon. Very clean & plenty of room to move around. 16 massage pedi chairs. Even has a margarita machine. Cons: basic pedi is $30 & I upgraded to the scrub pedi for $5 more. This included the leg scrub & a hot towel. Nail tech was very rough and rushed thru my pedi even though there were only 4 other people in the salon. All in all, I spent less than an hour in the chair & I even dried there. I didn't feel like she spent enough time on the bottom foot scrub or nail bed clean up. read more

I decided to book a massage at the Windflower Spa as a birthday gift from my boyfriend. With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

I've been coming to this salon for over a year and a half. I fell in love with it the first time I stumbled onto it. I've brought friends with me, given out their cards and referred many to this establishment. The first time I had my nails done, three days later the nails were popping off left and right. I came back and happened to speak to the manager DAT who offered to redo them at no charge. I thought what great customer service. I LOVE the finished job so much that I never allowed anyone else to do my nails. Dat & I have always had a great relationship and have always shared fun playful banter between us. Everyone always found it to be entertaining. When I married in Oct 2019 and moved 50 miles away from the salon, I kept my loyalty by not giving my business to anyone else. There have been a handful of times that I left not perfectly happy with the finished product because a nail on one hand was bigger or wider than the nail on the same finger of the other hand. The last time my nails were done I wasn't happy with again the nails sizes not matching each hand and even showed him a picture so he'd understand what I was saying. Dat immediately became defensive about my opinion of the previous nail job. I let his negative response go because of our great relationship. TODAY I made the 50 mile trip into San Antonio to have my nails done again. When I sat down I asked if Dat would do me the favor of matching each nail to both hands. Same nail size on both pincky fingers and so on and so forth. I was floored when he began SCREAMING at me in front of other customers that he is the professional and that I had NO right to tell him how to do his job. I tried to explain that I wasn't trying to tell him how to do his job but instead was asking that he honor my request as a paying customer who was willing to live with whatever the outcome would be. He told me if I didn't like the way he did my nails that I could take my business elsewhere, which I didn't want to do. I just wanted him to do what I asked this one time. He refused and said he had no intentions of completing the job that I drove 50 miles to have done. He told me to find someone else to do my nails. Needless to say I was very taken aback and upset for the way I was treated. I'll never give this establishment my business again and will let everyone know how I was treated today. Visit sometime, it's a beautiful and always clean salon and the staff have always been amazing. That is until today. If you go and have DAT do your nails, DO NOT QUESTION the completed job or dare give your opinion on it unless it's a raving one because you could be sent packing with a half finished nail job like I was today. Today my review of the professionalism of the MANAGER went from a five star rating to a 1/2 star rating. I'm sad, and will miss my visits with Dat, but it is, always has been and always will be true that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. He needs to learn that. read more

OMG! I just read the previous message and that poor woman certainly had some issues; however, they were not caused from the nail techs! She must have gone in there with a sour attitude looking for trouble. She really should learn how to speak the truth. Bless her heart. I have frequented this salon for several months and I couldn't be happier with the service that I have received. The women that work here are professional, friendly, and know their craft. By the way, MyLynda did my nails today and they were beautifully done. We discussed what I wanted to have done and and she took good care of me. The woman that posted that bizarre review stated that MyLynda "cut my cuticles like 20 times." Weird statement, huh? She also stated that MyLynda was" rude and pushy". That sounds more like the woman that wrote the review - not MyLynda. I will continue to have my nails done here and to speak highly of The Heights Nail Spa. read more

What beautiful establishment, so relaxing! I took my daughter and her friend, the prices were inline with other nail spas, but it was the attentiveness that put this one over the others. I seriously felt like I was at a high end spa being waited on. Our manicures were great and my feet, well overdue for a pedicure, were so soft. I brought my own color which, after seeing the color choices, was really good. They need a broader range of colors or to group the colors in their color spectrum for easy viewing.
