I cannot agree more with the rest of the bad reviews on here. Very poor service. Very poor communication and even worse schedule adhesion. Water itself is great, but you can pick up fresh sparklets water at home-depot without the hassle of worrying about delivery and paying extra 'energy fees'. Just don't sign-up for the water delivery service. They are very consistent in being consistently bad. I will file a formal complaint through Costco as well; they need to know that this is not in line with Costco customer service expectations. read more

When we first signed up for this water delivery service....I will admit it was an absolute nightmare. They seemed to have a staffing problem and we could never rely on our bi-weekly delivery. HOWEVER.....the past 4 months have been great! We were assigned a new delivery guy, Marco....and he's been wonderful. Not only is he reliable, but he'll even call us if he's running late or to simply check our inventory in case we might need more water. He's a joy to talk to as well. I can't speak for everyone's delivery person, but we are very happy with Marco and have had absolutely nothing but a positive experience since he's come aboard. read more

Probably the worst company I have ever encountered in my life. Never delivering when they are supposed to, then charging for those deliveries, then when I ask for the water I was supposed to get, charging for that too! Then you're on hold for literally hours to talk to someone about your bill. I recently put my waters on hold, then I was delivered water when they weren't supposed to, I returned the water only to find out they would not give a refund of the water that wasn't supposed to be delivered, wasn't used, and returned!!!!! Completely inconsistent delivery, I have called customer service so many times and waited over 20+ minutes a piece just to be told what I wanted to hear each month, and the next month the delivery was wrong yet again. I just left 4 empties outside my house and left town, I was promised those empties would be picked up the next day. I did not want them sitting out there all week while I was out of town. And when I got back into town the empties had been sitting out there for a week, so much for their promises! No idea how they stay in business. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Overcharged me by double, I paid and then canceled my service. They called me up a month later saying I owed even more. I gave them the date I paid and they said you're right, your balance is zero. 2 months later, I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe them 4 times what my bill normally is. Every month I have to contact customer service because they don't deliver on time. When contacting customer service it takes 20-30 minutes on hold for someone to answer. Management promised to discount last months bill since delivery was 5 days late. Discount was never applied and manager no longer works for company so I have to pay full amount! The customer service people in this company are very nice, but the actual service is HORRIBLE. In the 10 months I have had the service, only two months were smooth. I have had skipped deliveries, duplicated deliveries, incorrect invoices and it has taken several days for me to finally, FINALLY cancel this awful service. I have been promised (multiple times) that I would get a call from the route manager. It never happened. My invoices are still wrong and it has taken DAYS for them to pick up the cooler and unused water. Oh, and they actually delivered water after I cancelled. I recently was involved in minor car accident with one of their trucks. The driver gave me insurance etc - a few days later when I called I was told they no longer have insurance with that company - it took me 3 hours and multiple phone calls to find out that I had to get the information from the local distributor - I went there - Operations manager would not even meet with me - sent another employee to give me the information and when I left I call and was told I had to file a claim at the location - I had just left there. Now someone in Oregon is calling me and we settled - I signed the papers and now am being told that it will be another 2 weeks before my car can be fixed - It has been almost 2 months - if this is the way they treat people then I would be wary of their customer service. read more

Never do business with Sparkletts! This is the most horrible and corrupt company I have ever dealt with. From the beginning, they have sent me things I did not ask for, they have billed me for things I never received, and now they are not letting me cancel my service easily. I had them stop the deliveries years ago because they would not respect my wishes of what I wanted or did not want delivered, in addition to billing me for things I never even received. My secretary even had the direct line to the boss because we had to dispute the bill every single month! After we stopped the deliveries, we kept renting the machine because it was nice. I have since bought my own dispenser and I want to discontinue my relationship with Sparkletts. I informed them in writing over a month ago that I wanted to cancel service and have them come pick up their equipment. They flat out ignored my request and sent me a bill for another month rental. At this point I am livid and at my wit's end! I called customer service today and they put me on hold for over 30 minutes. When I finally was able to talk to someone, she said that they can't send someone out until Friday (my day off) and it would be "some time between 8:30 and 5". I asked if I could leave it outside and she said that if it was damaged or stolen that I would be charged $170 (never mind the fact that I've paid over $300 to rent the thing.) Rarely do I take the time to write, but I've been a customer for the past ~10 years. In the last ~1.5 years, their service has gone straight down. The water itself, we love. But the delivery and service is horrific. Every few months, I have to spend time on the phone multiple times to even GET a delivery. I'm now on day 4 without any water simply because they've missed deliveries ... when you call them, there's never a way to actually talk to a manager. They'll page out to have someone call you (which never happens) and then just call back again the next day. The latest call to them indicated that my account was on hold b/c the representative I talked to 2 days ago put it there ... even though they'd specifically confirmed that I would have water delivered yesterday. Next step for us is to find a different water delivery company that has good water. read more

Where do I start? After 3 years the water cooler died. Yes they did bring one out and I wasn't there to check it. Yep it did not work. Now it has been over 10 days and was promised on 3 different days to deliver new cooler. Never came and never called. Today they were supposed to come again. Instead the jerks left 2 water bottles but no cooler. Last month I asked for 4 bottles and got 7. I have never dealt with such ignorant people in my life. Got this service through Costco. I have had two 5 gallon bottles of water delivered to my house on Friday Oct 12th. I am NOT a customer of Sparkletts. I immediately called the 800 number concerned for the neighbor who is a customer would be without water because of the miss-delivery. The customer service rep on the 800 number said that she emailed the branch manger for the Austin area to notify him of the mistake and to have the water picked up from my house. Today is Wednesday Oct. 17th and the water is still at my house. After looking up the Austin specific location and pressing the option to speak to the branch manger just to be told that they are not available and then to be hung up on. I redialed to get the 2nd option of leaving a message on the general mailbox and then was told that the mailbox was full and would not accept new messages. This does not speak well of your customer service that you don't have a voicemail box for your branch manager directly and even worse that no one takes the time presumably to listen to, answer/return, and delete as worked the voicemails that are left on the general voicemail box. This is presumed bad customer service because I was not able to leave a voice mail. Your corporate office has emailed you again, branch manager, today about this situation...lets hope you don't take the quoted 48 business hours to respond to their email inquiry. read more

I have had their service for 3 months and its been awful. I ran out of water and the very rude customer service rep demanded to know how I could run out of water when I had 5 bottles. I told her I only had 2 and not 5 which is why I ran out of water plus why I have called every delivery time to ask when the other bottles would be delivered. When I called the local number, it only goes to voicemail (no one answers) and the phone calls are not returned. It is shocking they are unable to track the bottles and get the bills correct. This is the second time that I have had a relationship with this company in 10 years. I should have learned the first time! I would like to point out where this company excels before I leave the negative review. First, their salesmen, the ones that come out and try to sell you their services, are GREAT I've gotta say. I already had a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) from years before and was SUPER RELUCTANT to sign up for their services again buuut like I said, their salesmen are REALLY THAT GOOD!!! 2nd, the delivery guy we had (I wish I could remember his name) was very nice! He was cordial/friendly and always had a smile! Annnnd that's all I've got! Our account was put into collections less than 7 days after I received my first notice of being "PAST DUE". The reason our account was past due was because we had not received a delivery in almost 3 months. We always pay the driver with a check. Well, no deliveries, no payments! We had resorted to refilling our 5 gallon jugs 'at HEB. Anywho, we didn't find out we were in "COLLECTIONS" status until waiting on hold for nearly 15 min on the telephone with Sparkeletts/DS Services/Sierra Springs. When they finally picked up the phone, they ask for the account # and upon providing it, the young lady says "oh, your account is in collections I cannot talk to you." I laughed and said "Well, I want all of your equipment out of my store please." She responds with "we hate to hear that sir. Will the 9th be okay with you?" To which I respond with "Perfect! thank you" Then she immediately places me on another hold while my call is re-routed to a 3rd party collections company. I proceed to explain what is going on and why, and even the kind lady, Bernie, explains to me how silly DS Services is for placing my account in collections when it is barely past due and the past due amount is only for $140! Then she asks if I am going to return the equipment or pay an additional $440 dollars for the water cooler and the Keurig Coffee machine (darn salesmen came back months later and strapped me with that machine! I DONT EVEN DRINK COFFEE!! Did I mention how good their salesmen were?) Anyway, I explain to her that I already set up an appointment for them to come and pick up their equipment on the 9th. She seemed a little puzzled by that but tells me to make sure i get a signed receipt because Sparkeletts/DS Services/Sierra Springs has a bad habit of misplacing the equipment and their receipts and then the customers are left "holding the bag". Fast-Foward a few days, I receive a hostile email from the 3rd party collections company about "avoiding the embarrassment of legal action" blah, blah, blah "$440 is seriously past due". So I pick up the phone, give them a call, provide a case #, as well as a confirmation # indicating that I had paid my past due balance and that I was waiting on Sparkletts to come and pick up their equipment. The nice lady proceeds to tell me to MAKE SURE I get a signed receipt.....................! As soon as I hang up the phone with her I call Sparkletts to verify that we were still good for our appointment on the 9th. I am only on hold for 20 min this time waiting for someone to answer. When the lady finally does she says "sir I cannot talk to you" HERE WE GO AGAIN!! I politely ask her "please, before you transfer me to the collections company, I would like to talk to your manager or supervisor please" She then transfers me. After I am on hold AGAIN for nearly 10 min, the supervisor picks up and asks "How may I help you?" I reply "I was just making sure you guys were still coming on the 9th to pick up my equipment" She responds with "Sir, once it is in collections, we no longer have anything to do with your service or the equipment. You have to call the collections company and they will arrange the pick up. There is nothing even on your account that indicates we are coming out on the 9th" Now I am LIVID!!!!!! Guess what? I finally find out that I have to return the equipment myself to their closest branch office 40 miles away! read more

After four previous calls to customer service where they were polite but ineffective. First our bottles were set off the porch, then outside the gate on the street. Ok our fault, so we made sure the gate was open. Twice more the delivery was made inside about 50 feet, but a good 150 foot from the house. We had initially been told at the install, by the driver that he was over scheduled. We contacted customer service repeatedly finally a "manager" called. He wouldn't listen to me. He asked if we had dogs. I said yes. He said well that's why your bottles were left out from the house.! Our drivers are instructed not to deliver with dogs out. We signed up at Costco. Sounded too good to be true and it was. No apology ever from manager. I said just come get your stuff. He said do me a favor and lock up your dogs! I said you have to call and let me know when! I never knew if delivery would be 10AM OR 6 PM!! We were never told dogs were an issue. They are inside more than out anyway! No empathy or apology!! All our fault! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! This has got to be the WORST water delivery service in the history of water delivery service! I signed up for this service and not once were they able to deliver my water to the correct address. Each time the bottles were delivered a block away to an address that was similar to mine. Each time I called DS Waters Customer Service and informed them that they were delivering to the wrong address and they still could not deliver to the correct address. After the second time my water was delivered to the wrong address I called and requested a manager. I was told that a note was being made about the proper address and that a Delivery Manager in my area would call me. I never received a phone call and again my water was delivered to the wrong address. Finally, I called and informed them that I would be cancelling my service if they couldn't deliver to the proper address. Again, I was told a delivery manager would contact me. Again, I was never called and my water was delivered to the wrong address. At this point I cancelled my service and requested that they come pick up the NINE five-gallon water bottles that were left over. When they didn't deliver to the correct address they also didn't pick up the empty bottles. Amazingly, the only time they were ever able to find my address was to collect the nine empty water bottles after I cancelled service. However, my problems with this company didn't end there. A few weeks later I saw an almost $50 charge on my credit card from the company after i already cancelled service. When I called to see what the charge was for they stated that it was for nine bottles that I hadn't returned! Again, the only time they were ever able to find my house was when they came and picked up those empty bottles! The level of incompetence is absolutely staggering and completely infuriating. I am still waiting to receive a credit for the bottles that I returned. The price for water from this company may be lower than some others but you get what you pay for. Avoid them like the plague! read more

I suggest you never do business with Sparkletts. They don't just fail and suck at what they do, they are the worst vendor I have ever done business with. The level of deceptive business practices Sparkletts engages in is staggering. Sparkletts will stop delivering water and then charge you for the equipment they abandon on your property. We used them at our business for two years and twice in that period they just stopped showing up for a month or two, stopped picking up our checks and turned our account over to collections without any notice, going so far as to charge us for the water bottles and dispenser they left on site. Terrible service, very corrupt and viciously rude. I would love to see a class action lawsuit against this horrible company. read more

I signed up at the beginning of this month on 3/3 and was scheduled for a delivery the following week on 3/10. No call and no show for my delivery; when trying to contact them over the phone, no one answers or the automated lady says "you may want to try your call again". I may be too nice but I have them the benefit of the doubt of assuming this was a mistake.. shit happens.. so I tried to email to reschedule a delivery. I received a response that the driver tried calling me at the correct phone number, and that's the reason why the delivery was not made. Funny because I was sitting at home waiting around for a phone call and for someone to show up all day (I work at home). It takes about 5 days for an email response .. and no one ever picks up the phone. Terrible! read more

Service use to be great until recently. They were billing me for water not being delivered, so tried calling customer service many times and was on hold for 20+ minutes! Finally one day I held for 30+ minutes, but was determined to get someone on the phone. Was told they'd send me the water owed to me. Yes, I did get it, but they charged me again for it! So again, on hold forever, finally got someone and was told they'd credit me $55.00. Never got the credit, so again, I called this morning and AGAIN on hold for 30+ minutes and was told they have no record of me getting a $55.00 credit, all she could do for me was a $31.00 credit! Really? So, I cancelled my service and called Ozarka! I'm not surprised to see all the bad reviews on here. Here's Ozarka's phone # 877-229-3368. I asked a lot of questions before I committed to Ozarka. They have to be better than Sparklett's! Don't waste your time or money with these guys. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS. Costco members, if you have Sparkletts and you are having trouble, call Costco and complain. That's the only way Costco will stop offering this service to its members. Sparkletts customer website (corporate office) is not synchronized with their branch offices. So this is what will happen to you: 1) you will be delivered water on the wrong day; so you won't be able to return your empty bottles, 2) you will be delivered water even if you requested the delivery to be skipped because you still have water from the last cycle. And of course (2) will also happen on the wrong day. You will give Sparkletts a pass one time, or pehaps several times, because you are a nice guy or gal. However, soon, you will be drowning on empty water bottles and new water bottles you cannot drink fast enough. Then you will become fed up with the nonsense and cancel your service. Now, at this point, nobody will show up to pickup the equipment or the empty/filled bottles you still have. And as you expect it, they will continue to deliver more water on the wrong day. This will go on while you call repeatedly and escalate through their customer service. Then, one day, if you escalate forcefully enough, they will come and pick up their stuff and you will think the nightmare is finally over. But you would be wrong. Their corporate office has no clue your equipment has been picked up and that you have returned everything. They won't cancel your account until the branch office confirms everything has been returned. But of course, that won't happen in any reasonable amount of time, if ever. In the mean time, you might get more bottles of water but now you don't have a water dispenser any more. At this point you are no longer a nice guy or gal. STAY AWAY and don't become an angry Sparkletts customer. If you see an innocent soul at Costco talking to a Sparkletts representative, put a stop to it and tell them to run away. They will thank you. If you do this repeatedly, you might even become a saint. STAY AWAY FOLKS. read more
