I had Sparklight (and predecessor Cable One) for 22 years. But they completely botched the intro of streaming a couple years ago--software issue that screwed up billing and resulted in hours-long phone wait times. We couldn't watch any TV for more than a few minutes before buffering interrupted our programs. Four service technician visits didn't solve the problem. Then I diagnosed it: by doing multiple bandwidth speed tests/day, I figured that the modem I was renting from them was defective. After I told them to replace it, the buffering stopped. After many rate hikes, I found that T-Mobile offered much lower Internet rates. But Sparklight told me that if I gave up their way-overpriced Internet and modem rental for T-Mobile, I'd be unable to stream their TV. That's when I decided to cut the cord: I went with T--Mobile's 5G wireless Internet and Youtube TV streaming content. No modem rental fee. Youtube TV's picture is much sharper than Sparklight's. I spent 4 hours trying to get status of a work order today. Half a dozen times, the call was dropped. Then, when I did get through to a person, I was told dispatch would call me back. 3 hours later, no call. I started trying to call again. When I got a person on the phone, I was "transferred" to another department and left on hold for 45 minutes. Terrible service. read more

First off their internet is not as fast as advertised! Second! What is it with their offices staff! We came to return their modem and was very busy around 9:30 am , very long line with one office personnel. Had to leave wait was too long. Over one week period I spoke with several who were nice but accomplished nothing. Kaeden apologized for the horrible experience we were having and 6 hours later we are hooked up! OMGGGG! I am new to the area and was HIGHLY recommended to Sparklight. I went into the office to pick up my equipment to find one person working. There were 5 people ahead of me and each person took about 10 minutes to be helped. I was there for over a 1/2 hour to PICK UP EQUIPMENT. This company has ZERO respect for anyone's time. When I got home, I realized how unacceptable this was and I took the equipment back unused, I ran into the same issue. They have 2 desks in the front office, but in their mind people can simply wait for one person to help them. Oh, and unapologetic for any of it... Apparently, they feel superior (lots of people recommend them) and don't need to work for anyone's hard earned money. If you can get T-Mobile get T-Mobile... If you can get ANY other Internet, do it. Cameron More was dispatched to my house on July 19, 2026, for a service call that I had cancelled the day before. Nonetheless, he checked to confirm the problem - audio cutting out - was corrected. (It was.) He then voluntarily inspected our exterior cable box - nearly 20 years old - and discovered the interior connection needed to be replaced. After replacing the connection, he inspected our modem and determined it did not need to be replaced. Throughout the visit, Cameron was thoroughly professional, highly competent and personable. All-in-all a pleasure to deal with and a credit to the company. My next service call, I will ask for Cameron More by name. read more

This is what I can tell you about spark light customer service is horrendous technical people from Pakistan, India or wherever they come from All you get from them is sorry apologizing platitudes that's 90% of the conversation with no remedy to your situation. I ran my Roku box for over six months on my visible hotspot no problem so then I would get spark light. I have spent over 30 hours on the phone with their technical people billing on three different occasions I had eero representatives on three different calls to activate what paying for four hours after the first one within two days they disconnected the extra eight dollars a month for malware, protection, VPN password, etc. and when you talk to one of their representatives it's like they have idea what you're talking about. Now this is on three different occasions yesterday. The day before I had the fourth technician in the house for over six hours rep, replacing router and the eero Wi-Fi box. Well none of them other than setting it up for the basic on your tablet that you can new how to set up the extra protection, nor did the main office could turn on the extra . On the first four hours I finally blew my lid and said get somebody who can access everything and knows what the hell you're selling to customers. And got activated within a week they disconnected it and I had to go through that process again hours.. When I returned from Phoenix last week, my cable was all screwed up. This is why the guy had six hours replacing things. The first technician was a dumb been fired. second two were quality individuals. But neither knows nothing about how to push the button that activates the eero . So here I sit after over two months 30 hours on the phone total five days of my time wasted. I'm losing the will to live. So I advise anybody in the future buy your own.eero Wi-Fi box don't pay them. You can get one for about $130 and deal directly with. eero I have nothing but great praise for their technical expertise and their patience for customers. Because they can see weather, your extra security is activated or not protection I'm paying for or not. first it popped right up on my app that I downloaded. I have never in my life being somewhat of a technical person myself why would you employee horrendous uneducated idiots . The 5 STARS are for Nick ONLY, who installed our service - top notch, very professional and completed the work without any issues, plus made sure I am up and running before he left. NOW THE BAD: to get to customer service by phone or by chat online, well - That Is a Total Joke, can't get anyone to pickup, keeps routing from one bot to another, really hope that I do not need any help with my account - can only picture the frustration. PRO TIP: if you want someone to pickup, make sure you select the options for new service or product, they like picking that line up over the support lines ;) You're welcome! Internet service is spotty at best, service is questionable, they can't schedule an appointment within a reasonable amount of time , you have to plan an entire day for a technician to come out to your house. It's Tuesday and because I work and can't be home till 3 o'clock on Wednesday I have to wait until Saturday for an appointment that's scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM. Dakota Koch, business Technition for Sparklight in Prescott, AZ, not only helped me with my problem but he called me at the site like I requested before he arrived and with a follow up. I needed a wire moved off a dead tree to the nearby pole. He was the only technician out of the 2 previous Sparklight techs and 4 from the electric company to tell me whose wire it was and who I needed to call. I was able to get it removed the same day after trying for the last 3 weeks. The tree needs to be removed and that wasn't going to happen without that wire gone because it's in a position to fall on my house. Thanks Dakota! read more

I've called numerous times & had a service man out & they determined it was not an issue in our house but outside. Our neighbor has had the same issue. After being overbilled $200 for six weeks of service that was supposed to be under an 'introductory offer' of $29.95 (which with tax is actually $35/mo), and still not being able to access my online account "Upgrade in Progress, Estimated Completion Time 7/13/2025" -- that was six weeks ago, I'm ready to go with another provider. I requested an escalation to speak to a supervisor, that they would 'call back' has not worked at all. They can't seem to solve a simple over-charging issue and correct my bill with either a credit or refund on the over-charge. Internet and TV work well. But landline and wifi calling (needed for my cell phone) are intermittent and unreliable. I have complained about them many times in 9 years only to have the complaint dismissed. Many of the website features don't function. Try getting outage information online. It's impossible. The on-hold phone system recommends going to the website to chat with an agent. But the "agent" turns out to be a worthless virtual assistant. I did find a way for the virtual assistant to send the chat to a real person, but that person/agent never appeared on the chat. What a colossal waste of time! If Sparklight's aim is to enrage its customers, they couldn't do a better job. What an awful company! read more

Spoke to customer service about paying the next day even though it would be late and they said it would be fine. Payed next day full amountand they still disconnected my service. I tried to change my service to a special offer they had.. so I don't have to pay 96.00 for just internet.. they keep charging me for the new service and the old service on top of it!!! We commend the service technician Titus King who installed the new boxes for the WiFi TV signal and converted our units to be able to receive the programming that we have previously received by cable. Titus is very professional, knowledgeable and personable; he explained and demonstrated all of the changes involved in transitioning to Sparklight TV. There are charges for service I never ordered but I cannot talk to anyone on the phone. The office in Prescott is closed. All other offices and businesses are open but Sparklight claims things are worse with Covid so no open office. I have a charge of over $195 plus tax that I cannot get off my bill. I am going to send a registered letter to the Sparklight headquarters so they cannot deny that I tried to complain. They are also adding late fee. read more

We started out with Dish network over 4 yrs ago and enjoyed good service. During a light rain we lost service. I was unable to get the Dish franchisee here despite several calls. After he stood me up I dumped them for the Roku device an all of of the sets. For the last several months my Sparklight internet provider has become very sketchy in the evenings. My neighbors have the same problems although the employee at the Sparklight office denies any problems. We text each other when it fails at around 8pm nightly. I would not recommend them at all. Sparklight, which took over from Cable One, is a trash company that regards customer service as unneeded. Resources go only to getting new customers. If they didn't hold a monopoly in my area with my only other option being Century Link, a company that disconnected my lifeline while fooling with the phone lines, I would not be doing business with them at all. They have had continuous outages and crashes, and their network is as secure as a newborn mouse in a lion's den. I've had 5 rental modems from them in as many months because they can't get their equipment to work. I am expecting my 6th new modem come Wednesday. Didn't ask for one earlier because they had a system-wide crash that destroyed all the hard drives at their main office, and the tech said the modem probably wouldn't be connected until Wednesday. read more

My internet delivery system started shutting down for no obvious reason so I called Tech Support to find out why. After a short conversation to present the issue, the tech support agent scheduled an appointment for the next day to see if a new modem was needed or the current one could be fixed. The next day Titus King showed up in the scheduled period after notifying me he was on his way. I have 14 different pieces of equipment in my home that are dependent on the internet working. Titus quickly determined that although we had a good signal, the modem needed to be replaced with newer technology in order to operate multiple units at the same time. Withing an hour, Titus had replaced the new equipment, tested it, set up the account to see the system analysis, and verified all the equipment had been automatically reconnected to the wireless system and were working. Titus answered all my questions, made sure I understood how the monitoring system for the wireless system worked on my phone and helped me to verify any issues, Excellent service, personable and very knowledgeable technician and I am very happy with the result. Better speed on multiple units operating at the same time and major peace of mind that I won't have any failures due to the equipment in the reasonable future. Thank you Titus and Tech Support! When it works, it's okay. Paying $80 for 300 mb download speed and although the speed will fluctuate up and down, the connection usually stays solid. Problem is, when it goes down, you can't contact anyone and you get to listen to a recording about the high volume of calls and it tells you to call back later. Then the system just hangs up which tends to make a bad situation worse. And which is why I rate the company with a generous 2 stars out of 5. When 5G wireless becomes readily available and reliable in my area, I'll switch and and pay for unlimited data and drop Sparklight entirely. read more

I had an issue with compromised credit card, thought I updated the new card, turns out it did not take, my service was disconnected. called today, customer service fixed it all and we are good to go. Hung on by Sean today as I requested paper billing for about the fourth time from them. Sparklight has shifted me to paperless billing for my business and I have requested paper billing for accounting payments. Sparklight can hassle you when you do not pay them since you never got the bill you requested but other than that they are about useless. Their service is ok at best as it often goes out. Sparklight is HORRIBLE so find another service if you can. read more
