I recently switched to a different carrier because T-Mobile service was extremely spotty in my area, but when I went to the store on Iron Springs to get my transfer pin, the people were very understanding and even supportive of my choice (which was unexpected). I tried the internet it was ok but it did not handle the entire house's bandwidth well. I have been with their cell service for just about 18 months and suddenly now; despite opening the account at the store with my military veteran status ID, they are now asking me to upload further information to some useless website that seems to keep asking for a pin, a password and the account number too. It is a matrix to get into their system. I only have a few more months on the contract and I am already looking to leave after the prior problem I had with cancelling the internet and trying to fix that billing issue. I tried emailing them my veteran driver's license picture somehow that does not seem to meet their requirements either. The average 1.4 star for their service on another site summarizes their business practices but with another 1 star review that will slowly decline as well. read more

I have had T-Mobile for the past 2 years and it worked well. Recently, the local cell tower quit working and I have no cell service at my home all I get is Emergency Calls Only. The Wi-Fi system doesn't not work very well and I have to resort to either email or text message as phone calls cannot be completed. I went into the store and the manager Tony put in a trouble slip and was aware of the problem but could not give me any idea on what was being done and how long the problem would last. It's been a week now and I checked back with T- Mobile and they had no answers for me. I will give them a few more days and will go to another provider. T Mobile doesn't seem to care about service after they sell you a plan. I'm very disappointed as I had high hopes. read more

Went to pick up 3 new phones in December, Sales guy said "here, you get 3 sets of galaxy ear buds with that for free. I will fill out the paperwork for you." Since they were free, I took them but I have no use for these ear buds. February comes around and I am starting to get billed for them. Went in to talk to Theresa Hernandez (Manager) who basically said "Yea I see what the sales guy did. Sorry we screwed you out of $450. Maybe you can sell them." There was no further resolution. Great experience here from people who actually care. Anthony was the best! He was super helpful and answered all of our questions and helped us get away from Verizon. I am so impressed with T-Mobile's service quality, it is far more superior than Verizon. Teresa was also very helpful and nice. Together they made us feel very welcome. I agree with Max L. I am pretty sure I encountered the same extremely rude teens. I needed a pin# to change my account. Once they learned I was leaving they ignored me. The young man at least gave me my account number but refused to help with a transfer pin. He said call 611 which I did in the store. I had difficulty with connection and went to the counter to ask for assistance. The young lady firmly stated "we don't do that here." I tried to explain my situation and they both said to go get help where I was going for a new plan. The young lady stated " I no longer had an account" which was not true because I had not changed providers yet. I became upset and their indignity and confrontational behavior. The female stated she could "ban me from their store!" and offered to open the door when I leave. I have never received this kind of treatment in my life let alone in Prescott. I believe Prescott is a friendly place and I am disgusted my the actions of these two workers who I consider a disgrace to our community. If this is the kind of people who are hired for customer service positions, then we are all in trouble. read more

Awful experience. When I walked in there were two male employees and zero customers. They were rude from the start and didn't want to help me. I had just had wonderful service at the Prescott valley store location, but the manager wasn't in to help me with my specific need so they suggested I go to this nightmare of a store in Prescott. When I arrived, I told them I had issues submitting the keep and switch program online and had been told when I switched to T-Mobile a couple weeks ago that if I had any issues submitting it, I could come back to a store and they would do it for me. However these wonderful employees basically refused to help me and said if I couldn't do it online myself that I needed to call support and that they wouldn't help me. I was friendly from the start but was refused service repeatedly until I told them how two separate stores said they could do it for me in the store. So finally he says I need to to it on the app on my phone so I log into the app and give him the phone. He proceeded to take my phone, get out of the app (guess it wasn't actually needed) and go through my phone to the internet to some t-mobile site which is fine but I didn't like him going all through my phone when he told me to go to the app specifically especially after the attitude towards me. Also him not being able to do it on his iPad or their computer is a lie when he said it's because it needs to be done specifically on the app on my phone as a reason they wouldn't do it for me. He did it off the normal website...anyway he then passes me off the the other employee and when it gets to the part where you upload the bill, he just selects to view my photo library and I literally grabbed my phone from him cause he doesn't know where the bill photos are saved and i don't know when it was ever ok to just go through someone's photos but I did not authorize that. They did not tell me what they were doing at any step I was just looking over the counter and saw him open my photos. I uploaded the bill first and then said I needed to upload the other file with my account number showing. So he told me to hit upload again and do the second photo. But then I wasn't sure if it replaced the first one so I asked if they were both on there cause I only saw the second one (not the bill) showing and was just trying to double check but he just said yes and hit next and it says it's processing. So hopefully they got it all but who knows. I have no idea what next steps are accept that I'll "get something in 24-48 hours", don't know what; don't know next steps, don't know why those two employees are in customer service if they can't handle a simple customer that came in friendly with a simple 2 minute process they insisted they couldn't do (and then proceeded to do in 2 minutes). 0/10 would not recommend. read more

I can certainly understand why this store closed down! Three months ago, I went to this store and specially asked to purchase a phone that would have future 5G capabilities. I was shown an Alcatel 3V and was assured that it would be capable of 5G. Well, here it is three months later, my internet is totally sluggish, my phone still has 4G, and I have been informed from other Metro PCS stores that Alcatel 3V does not have 5G capabilities after all! Thankful that I have had better experiences with Metro salespeople at other stores who were actually knowledgeable and competent! read more
