My Verizon store wasn't able to repair the charging port on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, so I Googled the…read moreclosest phone repair shop and found Nerdy Neighbor, located in a beautiful part of historic downtown Prescott near the courthouse. When I first walked in, Mike immediately discovered that my charging cord was damaged and recommended that I simply replace it, which I did. About a week later, my phone stopped charging through the port again, although it would still charge on the magnetic charger. I was worried that the charging port itself might need to be replaced. I called Nerdy Neighbor, and Mike told me to come in when he was working because he already knew the history of my phone. He also asked me to bring everything I normally use to charge it, including my charging stand. When I came back, Mike quickly discovered another tiny rock lodged inside my charging port! He removed it immediately, got everything working again, and didn't charge me a dime. I truly appreciate Mike's honesty, knowledge, and excellent customer service. Another thing I really like about Nerdy Neighbor is that if they can't answer when you call, they return your call within just a minute or two. I'm so glad I found Nerdy Neighbor in beautiful historic downtown Prescott. I highly recommend them!

Two hours later (as I was told) I was out the door. Excellent service, priced right and they were quite professional. As for the negative comments about this business, I think a couple people were a little fussy when they wrote their reviews. Nerdy Neighbors are running a business, not a free diagnostic clinic. Thanks Mike!

Where to even begin. The fact that you stopped being able to handle pretty much everything in store…read morewas the start of a nightmare I think in general for the world where you call and people can't even do anything for your account is just mind boggling. Anyone else missing the free upgrades after you had your phone a certain amount of time?! Anyways then let's just keep upping a monthly price for no other reason than they can. AT&T used to be the best option out there for price and service but now they are just as engulfed in the how much juice can we squeeze out of a juiced lemon. So you pay what's said to in your account, a few days goes by and all of a sudden your phone service is disconnected, why you ask? Because there was $10 you didn't pay because it wasn't on the freaking bill. Now in order to get service back up you have to pay next months bill plus and $80 surcharge. But you live in the middle of nowhere and so your WiFi calling can't get you to someone that helps. So via chat you pay what is now said to be $77 in order to reactivat. You pay more than that and still nothing. The chat person with his hands securely hog tied behind his back while bent over by this company can't offer any assistance other than call. WE CANT CALL! So in a world full of greedy people, rude people, turn the cheek people, take them by surprise and tack on more people. I hope you rethink how you "help" your consumers. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.

Not a good way to pick an establishment for such an important task as phone or computer repair! The nice young man seemed like an honest kid. Quite a devious dude as it turned out. I paid a $50.00 deposit for the initial determination, which would be applied any future expenses incurred toward resolution. He informed me after I returned a couple of hours later that my phone was irrepairable. I inquired about a replacement and could the data be transferred from my dead phone. He said he could try, and informed me that they had a special service plan that would save me money if I had any future issues with my new phone, which was supposed to be an open box special. The service plan, he said, would be $100.00 but because they were having a special promotion the cost would be refunded with the purchase of my new phone. He neglected to inform me that the $100.00 was actually a monthly charge for membership in their club. I did not find out about that little detail until my bank informed me of the $100.00 charge at the beginning of the next month. I immediately called Recconected's Scottsdale office and explained that I did not want a subscription to their service club. The person I spoke with said they would refund the charge and cancel the subscription. This was a bold faced lie as neither of these items occurred. Additionally they continued to charge my account for two more months before I learned from my bank that they had declined to pay a fourth charge. Many hoops later I was able to prevent further theft from my account. Not an honest business. Not trustworthy since the individual did not honor his word that the initial charge would be removed and the subscription terminated. Do not do business with this shady outfit! Crooks and worse!

It is not inexpensive, however, you cannot put a monetary value on being without a phone. He was much more helpful in offering a solution that Verizon or Geek Squad offered. He later helped me with data transfer and stuck to his time estimate and communicated as promised. After the positive experience, I went back to get a screen and camera protector. I am told it's a $10 replacement fee + installation for each for the time that I own the phone--better than what I previously got through Pure Gear from Verizon. My experience was very positive and I would recommend ReConnected.
