Where to even begin. The fact that you stopped being able to handle pretty much everything in store…read morewas the start of a nightmare I think in general for the world where you call and people can't even do anything for your account is just mind boggling. Anyone else missing the free upgrades after you had your phone a certain amount of time?! Anyways then let's just keep upping a monthly price for no other reason than they can. AT&T used to be the best option out there for price and service but now they are just as engulfed in the how much juice can we squeeze out of a juiced lemon. So you pay what's said to in your account, a few days goes by and all of a sudden your phone service is disconnected, why you ask? Because there was $10 you didn't pay because it wasn't on the freaking bill. Now in order to get service back up you have to pay next months bill plus and $80 surcharge. But you live in the middle of nowhere and so your WiFi calling can't get you to someone that helps. So via chat you pay what is now said to be $77 in order to reactivat. You pay more than that and still nothing. The chat person with his hands securely hog tied behind his back while bent over by this company can't offer any assistance other than call. WE CANT CALL! So in a world full of greedy people, rude people, turn the cheek people, take them by surprise and tack on more people. I hope you rethink how you "help" your consumers. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.

When I first walked in, Mike immediately discovered that my charging cord was damaged and recommended that I simply replace it, which I did. About a week later, my phone stopped charging through the port again, although it would still charge on the magnetic charger. I was worried that the charging port itself might need to be replaced. I called Nerdy Neighbor, and Mike told me to come in when he was working because he already knew the history of my phone. He also asked me to bring everything I normally use to charge it, including my charging stand. When I came back, Mike quickly discovered another tiny rock lodged inside my charging port! He removed it immediately, got everything working again, and didn't charge me a dime. I truly appreciate Mike's honesty, knowledge, and excellent customer service. Another thing I really like about Nerdy Neighbor is that if they can't answer when you call, they return your call within just a minute or two. I'm so glad I found Nerdy Neighbor in beautiful historic downtown Prescott. I highly recommend them!

Two hours later (as I was told) I was out the door. Excellent service, priced right and they were quite professional. As for the negative comments about this business, I think a couple people were a little fussy when they wrote their reviews. Nerdy Neighbors are running a business, not a free diagnostic clinic. Thanks Mike!

I was unable to activate it myself. 1/22/22 I went to the local Boost Mobile store and asked for help with activation. The associate charged me $35 to activate the phone and $25 for screen protector totaling $62.30. 1/23/22 I went back to the Boost store. The new screen protector didn't fit and had bubbles and a hair under it. The phone also wasn't activated so I was getting error messages and couldn't use the internet. The woman said no returns, exchanges, or refunds. I stated that if she would have been upfront about not having the correct screen protector I would not have bought it. She blamed me for putting the  hair under the screen protector and told me nothing could be done without the owner. I called the store owner Marvin. He said I could get refund for the screen protector. 1/28/22 I went into the Boost store and saw Marvin. I gave him the receipt showing I paid for activation and the screen protector. Marvin handed me $25 cash (not refunding tax paid) for the screen protector. He said he couldn't do anything about my phone activation because my (new) phone was too old to be compatible with 5g. I knew this was not true and was mad I paid $35 for nothing. I went home and called Boost Mobile. The phone associate troubleshot my issue for 30 minutes. Ultimately she determined the sim card I was shipped was incorrect and told me to go to a Boost Mobile store so they could remedy it. 2/1/22 I had such a bad experience with the only Boost store owner in town that I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to Phoenix to get the proper sim card. It took that associate 5 minutes to do a sim card swap. This experience has been a huge waste of time. I don't recommend the two Boost Mobile stores in Prescott Valley to anyone.
