As the cars got backed up I witnessed the people that were drying my vehicle just perform the laziest wipe down for $54.99. They ignored the receipt that showed an extra 15.00 (rounded up) for shine to dashboard. They skipped vacuuming the whole right inside of my vehicle. I literally was able to pick up small pieces of trash. Then after pointing these things out the people begin to speak in another language with regard to me and my vehicle. I don't think I would recommend this place. The manager had initially told me if I have a problem just mention it. I did and was told I need to sign up for detailing from the manager. Really? My car was so filthy due to the snow and everything so I had stopped here to get a quick wash. At the time they were only offering one type of wash which was the $9 wash which i believe was due to the cold weather and everything. I didn't ask the lady I just told her I wanted to get a wash and she said it was $9. No options were offered or nothing explained to me. I am so upset with this business. The Sparkling Image on County Line Rd near 31 there in Indpls/Greenwood area sucks bad. Do you know they were cleaning the inside of my car which they hurry hurry anyway and they flipped up the USB cover and broke it completely off. Instead of telling me or one of their manager they just left it there in the cup holder and went on about their business. I saw it and I complained to the assistant Mgr. The manager wasnt there that day. He said he could only take a Pic and take my name and number down. He said someone would call me. So it happened on a Fri. Knowing that the weekends upon us and nobody is in the office on weekends or would be available I gave them a few days. By Wed I still heard nothing. I went in there on Wed or Thurs and spoke to the mgr. He said he had no knowledge of it watsoever. He said the asst mgr could've handled it. We dont do business tht way. He says someone will be contacting you. He turned in the report. Its now been over THREE WEEKS. STILL NO PHONE CALL FROM ANYONE. IVE BEEN IN THERE SEVERAL TIMES. I have been coming to this location for years. Today is my first bad experience with this location. Customer service is TERRIBLE. I was trying to get full service, which includes vacuuming and the worker kept trying to make me go through the car wash instead and then proceeded to scream at me to pull in, bypassing the vacuuming. Another worker had to come over and explain this to him. Of course it was after he was rude and screamed names at me and make rude gestures. It would have been great if he would have just asked me why I wouldn't pull forward anymore. Also, I have a gift card, apparently you cannot check the balance online. The card would not scan. It had $100 left on it, and had only been used once before, no way to verify the amount or to process the payment. The website tells you to email someone. I will no longer come to this location. I've been coming here for YEARS! Always a fan. Two trips ago, I had a rare bad experience where so many spots were missed that I said something, which I had never done before. The manager sent someone to "fix" it but the interior was still done pretty poorly. I've had such a history of strong experiences, though, that I went back last week and paid the upgrade for increased attention to dashboard and door handles and such and my car is shining! Definitely a noticeable difference. Not sure what they did but worth the added $$. The brush beat up my passenger side hood at the County Line Rd location. I didn't see it until three hours later when I put a purchase in the passenger door. They went out to check the two recent washes and said there was no damage. They couldn't be at fault. I explained that it had been three hours. They said they would check their camera and btushes, then informed me that it proved they were not at fault. I asked to see the video and they informed me that you couldn't really see the damaged area at all, as expected. I asked to at least give me a refund for the remaining washes on my card. 1/2/2026 I went to the Countyline location paid the $44.00 wash I specifically asked about the floor matts and the seats.. the young man stated the $44.00 package is what is needed and they would take care of the inside of the car a wipe down dash console seats door and vacuum with wheel shine and air freshener with a five day free wash.. I got in the car no wheel shine no air freshener and the floor and seats was ridiculous for what I just paid.. I went back around the young man took my receipt gave me another one (0.00) told me to look for a guy in a red jacket an run it thru.. NO ONE was wearing a red jacket i go to the cashier she gets on the radio has someone that didn't have a red jacket on said no worries he take care of it i told him the car it was back getting vacuumed for the 2nd time. 2nd time thru vacuum was better seat was not wiped off no wheel shine no air freshener. 3rd time I tracked him down told him seats and air freshener and wheel shine was not done again.. He goes over and tells someone they go get the wheel shine BUT DOES NOT do the air freshener and inside wipe down.. by that time i done spent almost a hour there, This place is ridiculous over charging for half ass service and then not get what you paid for and telling the I guess manager 2-3 times about it he does nothing. read more

I've had my car since 2010 and have never had it detailed. I practically live out of my car as I referee a sport in addition to my day-time job. I have a full second-wardrobe and food packed in the back. I am eating on the road, taking pregame naps in the car, and am airing out sweaty clothes as I travel from state to state. I shop-vac my car 2-3x per year, but that's it. With how crummy I felt my car looked on the inside, I had pretty low expectations on how nice my car could potentially look. Sparkling Image blew my expectations away. I initially went to the one on Keystone, but they do not have indoor detailing, only outdoor and it was 22 degrees, so they asked that I go to the one on 86th Street. I called ahead as they are first come, first serve to make sure that I could get in and headed that way. They were very accommodating. I dropped my car off and went to the Starbucks a couple doors over and waited. It took a little over 4 hours, but my car feels brand new. My husband says that he has never seen my car this clean in all the years he has known me. I was considering a buying a new car, but Sparkling Image made by car feel brand new again. All it needed was a deep clean! I feel like you can spend hundreds of dollar on getting your car detailed, so for $129, I felt like I really got a lot out of that money. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The person at the front desk gave me an estimate on how long it would take for my car to get done and checked me out promptly. The person working on my car in the bay left plastic on the slightly damp seats as they were still drying after being shampooed. I was very impressed by the service and now my husband is planning to get his car done as well. read more

But I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Jeff, Jordan, and the rest of the team at the 82nd street sparkling image for taking the time to fix a botched job. I use my car all the time and they helped fix an issue that I was worried couldn't be solved. My car doesn't have that mildew smell anymore and up until I let some toddlers in the back seat it was sparkling for days! Hi. I am literally sitting in front of the car wash near Castleton. I joined the frequency club two days ago and I think I regret it. It is 8:08am and no sign of life. None. Blue cones block the entrance. YELP says they open at 7:30am. Is that true? Oh, ok. It's 8:10am. Now open. When I signed up for the unlimited monthly service, the employee here told me that I might want to get the ceramic coating for my car from Ziebart, so their car wash doesn't scratch the car. I've only ever used the car wash service here. Every time it's come out very clear. They do a good job vacuuming the inside and wiping everything down. Considering the conditions they work in with being outside in the sun I give them major props. Will continue to visit here. Overall, the car wash itself does a pretty good job, but the inside cleaning/detailing was pathetic. My wife asked them to go over it again after one pass through and after she got home I inspected the cleaning to find this. This is exactly why I normally handle all of our car detailing myself. I'm a Lyft driver. I went to get the interior of my car cleaned and was told it would take around three hours. There was a long line when I got there a little after 1 P.M., but I was able to get my car started for the cleaning around 1:30. As it approached 4:45, I heard them ask who had the Hyundai Elantra, that's my car. Not knowing there was another one, I spoke up. They said it was another one and not mine and the girl who spoke to me said it takes 3-4 hours to do what I wanted, but when she said it, she used a very rude and nasty tone. Not wanting to make a scene, I said okay and sat back down. A short time later, they said my car was done; it took 3.75 hours. They directed me out of the bay/garage and into the direction I needed to go to leave the lot. I do appreciate their thoroughness in cleaning my car. Other than a few minor spots, it looked really nice. It looked better than when I first got the car. My only real complaint on the cleanliness is that the inside of my front windshield, while it was cleaner than before, had a lot of smearing. As expected, there was plastic on my seat because it wasn't dry yet. What they never told me was how long it would take to dry and that I needed to leave my windows down overnight to dry them. I got in my car to put back the objects they took out of the nooks and crannies in my car. It was then that I realized my seat is still wet. I felt the others and they are still wet as well! It wasn't until I called them about it today and asked that I found out about leaving my windows down overnight. Now, they're suggesting I leave the windows down during the day and overnight. I can't do my Lyft job with wet seats and floors! Now I am going to miss a day of driving because they didn't bother to take the time to tell me what I needed to do! Not sure if I'll use them again if I need this service in the future. It was $119.99 for them to clean the seats, clean the dash and console, and vacuum and shampoo the rugs/floor. read more

I haven't had my car detailed in over two years so I thought now would be a good time. My supervisor recommended this place since Crew does not do detailing, I was a bit surprised at the $119 price tag, but I have to admit I was spoiled by paying $40 in Tennessee. I have King cake under the seat from last Marks Gras, Spilled chili in the passenger side carpet from last winter, and copious amounts of white dog fur from my week of dog sitting a husky. I wish I had taken before pics. I did, however, clean out as much trash as possible and remove all personal belongings from my trunk before going just to make it a bit easier on the staff. I also made a list of all the minor details I wanted them to pay attention to. Upon arriving, the entrance is VERY confusing. I wasn't sure where to go, but eventually I figured it out. I later realized other people had issues with this as well. The woman taking the orders was pleasant and asked if I had special requests - glad I had my list! I ordered the ultimate interior and she offered me a $20 wax, but I declined as I plan to come back for an ultimate exterior in a few weeks. She placed a sticker on my car and told me I could go inside or grab something to eat and they'd call me when it was done. She didn't take my phone number and I never gave her my payment information. I followed my car to each station and was able to view it at all times thanks to an abundance of windows and access to outside seating. Once my car had been washed on the outside, it looked very shiny and like new. However, I began writing his review at 3:39 PM, at least 10 minutes after it was parked no one touched my car. It was 3:50 PM and I was told by a staff member that I needed to pay before they could start any more work. Not sure that was made clear at the beginning of my service, I was told they'd call me when it was done. That confused me a bit because they didn't have my phone number. I paid and took a seat. Overall it took about an hour and a half to complete the wash and detail and it looks great and smells good! I did notice a glob of red paint near my headlight and I'm positive it wasn't there before I went because I've never had a paint job done on the drivers side of my car. I also have a picture of my vehicle a few months prior to this visit and that glob isn't there. The manager said he didn't know what it was, so I just chalked it up to a ghost that put red nail polish on my car. It's not extremely noticeable, so I didn't make a fuss. Bad Smell Left Behind. My car smelled fine before. My first time at this location. I was happy with the wait time but not happy with the quality of clean. They outside looks good- but the inside was not the greatest. Windows looked fine. But, Seats were obviously not vacuumed, My cup holders still had crumbs left behind. But my biggest complaint is the smell left behind. It just smells dirty like dirty rags in here and I even had "air freshener" added in the package. I can smell the air freshener too, but there's a gross smell here too that wasn't here before. I've been a member of the Sparkling Image Wash club for a couple years now. I pay $40 a month (when I joined it was $35) for unlimited full service car washes which in include exterior washer lines and interior basic cleaning (wipe down and vacuum). Most of the time I leave satisfied. I've also had the detail shop repair some scratch & paint job. That was well worth the money. Even with the long lines it generally moves quickly with two full service lines and an express line. I have used all the locations and this is my favorite by far. I also appreciate the communal tip box. There is always a whole team that works on your vehicle and it's difficult to figure out who should get tips. This may everyone splits what is collected. If you're going to do an unlimited car wash club, this is the best bang for your buck. read more

The register was so backed up I could not speak to anyone to get a refund before I had to leave to pick my son up from daycare before they closed. They wiped down the inside of the doors so water is not dripping off. This place is so much better than Crew and only a few dollars more for a Full service car wash which I was accustomed to growing up. We did not have these express car washes like Crew growing up in the south. It was the pull-in do it yourself or full service and you could get a 15 minute oil change with a full service car wash. That is the only thing that could make this place better. So take the extra time and get the full service. It is worth it and then some... and while you wait pop over to O'REILLYS next door to pick up a cheaper air fresher. I promise, you will be back before they are done even after you pay. read more

I go through the sparkling image car wash on the south side all of the time. I go through it so often, that I bought a monthly full service pass to save money. Now that I have unlimited washes, I'll run through whenever I have some time and pass by one. Someone tracked dirt on the floor mats? No problem! They'll vacuum it out! While the south side location is by far my favorite Sparkling Image in Indianapolis the Castleton location is a close second. Here's what I like about it: -They vacuum your car out before it gets washed. I don't know why I like this better, but I do -You pull up, get out, and they take it from there. Walk inside, and sit in the lobby while your car is vacuumed, washed and hand dried. Then the interior and exterior glass is cleaned, the dash is wiped down. -Additional detailing options are available, and at this location, they have garage bays where this is done inside. I haven't used this service because I keep my car fairly clean, but I like the fact that this location does it inside. And here's what I don't like about this specific location: -the line is usually much slower than other locations -I don't think they do as good of a job compared to the south side. I feel like my carpets are cleaner when I go to the south side location. I suppose it's just a car wash, but I pay close to $40 a month for unlimited full service.. Which is a deal if you go more than twice (it's $21 per visit). I like when they take the time to get it right, and this place does a pretty good job at it! read more
