We love the pizza and the garlic knots! We make sure to stop here every year. The cheesesteaks are a hit as well!

Ordered pizza and heated it later on the grill. Still delicious! Planning on dining in and trying it hot out of the oven.

I came in this place to get one slice of plain for my son, I asked them to cut it in small pieces as my son is developmentally disabled an that is the only way he can eat a slice. A young girl behind the counter cut the slice in small pieces as she was turning around to bring me the slice 2-3 pieces of the slice fell on the floor, I informed her of this, she looks over at an older woman who was doing the cooking who scowls at me a states in a very angry and indignant tone "what!, do you want me to give you another slice"! I stated" as a matter of fact yes I paid for a WHOLE slice I want what I paid for" she responds by calling me a jerk, I stated "excuse me this is how you treat a customer YOU drop some pieces of the slice I paid for and you are calling me a jerk" she responds to me "get out" I said " ok give me my money back" so she gives me my money back and then gives me the slice any way for free! further another customer, an older man walks in, I am assuming she knew him, she then says to him "this guy is being a jerk" I responded "what's he going to do?" as I was walking out I said "maybe you need to learn how to treat a customer. And again she calls me a jerk. I initially informed the young girl she dropped some pieces of the slice, I did not initially ask for a new slice, if the woman would have been nice and said I can give you a dollar off the price I would have been fine with this or at least responded in a professional manner. I cannot believe this person is in a position dealing with customers. I hope the owner sees this review because he or she needs to fire this person! See the response from the owner which states I called the girl who dropped the pieces careless, this is a lie! I stated "you dropped 2 pieces of the slice" she did not see it when it happened, she made a mistake, I was not rude at all. I certainly did not deserve to be talked to or treated as poorly as you treated me as a customer. And yes, I am a grown man, unlike you I know how to conduct myself. You on the other hand are choosing to deflect and blame others for your ignorant behavior. Further, my review is 100% accurate, I left nothing out, you are lying! normally I would not waste my time writing this in detail however, I thought it was important to let the public know what type person you are and how you treat your customers. Oh, and by the way not to worry, there are plenty of other pizza establishments on LBI rest assured you will never see me in your dump again. read more

We went here over the weekend and didn't have a good experience unfortunately. The pizza was reheated and was very hard and crunchy. It also had no flavor in the sauce. The owner yelled at a customer right in front of everyone in the restaurant. Due to the quality of the pizza and the unprofessionalism of the owner, we will not be returning. Editing review based on response: I never feel comfortable saying something is bad when asked "how is everything?" I also was very uncomfortable after the interaction with the owner and customer yelling that I didn't want to cause any more issues. read more

If you've been following me over these last 10 years or so, you KNOW I am NOT a pizza person; it's just not in my DNA even though I am Italian. You make sense of that since I can't. My husband can eat, sleep, and breathe pizza 24/7 without a problem. I knew pizza would be one of our meals while away, and we decided to give this "NY style" place a try since we were both curious. THIS PLACE IS A 10/10 - RUN here; don't walk! The pizza reminds me a bit like a tavern style pizza with how crispy and firm the crust was. The sauce packed the right punch, and the pizza wasn't smothered in greasy cheese; it had just enough! I loved how there was just enough crust to hold on to; I hate too much crust. Walking inside on a Thursday afternoon, you got a great vibe of just being a part of this fun, laid back beach community, with children in bunches at tables, and old regulars. The inside is dated and nostalgic; places like this don't need to have modern decor to draw in a crowd. The pizza alone is enough to bring all the boys to the yard. Called a head to pick up; said 15-20 minutes but it was already waiting for me by the time I came to pick it up! Super friendly staff, and the smells coming from the kitchen still haunt my nostrils. The volcano chicken cheesesteak here was amazing! Both the buffalo sauce and the cheese were clearly mixed into the chicken on the grill, and the portion size was great. The buffalo sauce tasted homemade and the habeneros added an extra kick with a little bit of smokiness. The bread they used was not very fresh, but it wasnt soggy or undercooked. Thats the only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. The service was great, the food came out very fast despite being very busy. The design inside is really nice, it truly feels like an old school beach pizza shop with all the decor and cool pictures. I wish I remembered to take pictures for the review but was with my family and forgot. Great place! read more

We got speakeasy pizza twice on our vacation and we're very satisfied each time. Being from NJ, I've missed the pizza. I know shore pizza isn't quite the same as regular Jersey pizza, but this was pretty good! The fries are also good too--nice and crispy, so they survive the drive back to your beach house okay. read more

Food- I had pizza and a steak submarine sandwich. Both were excellent. The pizza crust was perfectly done, crispy but not burned. Toppings were plentiful and balanced. The steak sub had plenty of meat without having to ask and pay for "extra meat". I ordered the sub fairly plain for the benefit of my wife but the meat was tasty enough that the extras were not needed either for taste or as a distraction to cover for a lack of meat. Service- there were three active servers- two ladies and a young man. ALL were professional and engaging. I had grandkids with me and they interacted with my kids in a gentle and friendly way. I couldn't have asked for more regarding their demeanor. As well the food was delivered in a timely fashion, hot and inviting. Ambiance- the restaurant is a local pizzeria at the beach and its appearance fits the mental image of what a beach pizzeria should look like. So, friendly staff, good food, well priced. Can't say enough good things about the delicious and interesting combinations on pizzas. Had a Vinnys prosciutto and a Caesar white slice and they knocked our socks off. I vividly remember walking into this place once every week with my Pop-pop when I was little. I would always get a slice of pizza and he would always get the pasta, claiming it to be the "best pizza and pasta for miles." Now although this might not be true, it's darn near close if my memory doesn't fail me. I also remember the employees being very nice towards me and other little kids, as other places don't really acknowledge the kids in a restaurant.
