After eating pizza on LBI at various locations for over 50 years, my family and I decided to try Lorenzo's pizza this week while on vacation and were extremely impressed with our meal. The crust was delicious with a satisfying crunch and great texture. The servers were friendly and helpful, shout out to Kevin! Since we were so pleased with Lorenzo's, we decided to try the cheesesteak, chicken Parmesan and Cobb salad a few nights later. We were once again extremely satisfied with our choices! Went in looking for a plain slice just to try out their pizza after finishing up dinner and they only had a few gourmet pie left. Picked the winner though. Got a huge white slice with fig jam, pesto , and prosciutto that should count as dessert. Worth the 5 and change price for one slice 10xs over. Place is extremely clean and service was on point. Yeah no. Sorry I love the chegg but this is not a pizzeria. It's Costco style pizza...doughy and undercooked crust. I can't even call this football pizza. I think kids will like it but growing up in NJ this was the kind of pizza you saw when visiting other states outside of the northeast if you know what I mean. After it's cooked, your pizza is cooling off for you on a metal rack when you pick it up so beware it might not be piping hot. 2 pizzas pepperoni and buffalo chicken was $52 including tax and credit card surcharge. read more

Pizza is excellent. Great late night hours and so local to all of the bars for a slice of pizza at the end of the night!

They have a tochtune to play music we play some Spanish songs and the manager come and change the song to English after we pay for the son I understand that the place is full of English people but there's a option if you don't like Spanish songs just block them don't give that option to play any song this is a place that I come every week that was very racist from this place. Being on the island during off-season limits the options, so we decided to give Lorenzo's a try. We ordered three slices, each with different topping combinations. Overall, the pizza was good, slices were big. We would've preferred that green peppers and mushrooms not be sautéed prior to being put on the pizza. My husband isn't a huge lover of cheese, and was happy with the amount, meaning it wasn't too cheesy. The crust was average/thin. They have lots of specialty pizzas to choose from. i'm sure they'll do fine once the season starts. read more

Honestly, unreal. I am a pizza snob, and this was some of the most delicious pizza I've ever had. I had four flavors, embarrassingly, I had four whole slices. Yes, it's a little embarrassing, but it was actually that freaking good. Seriously this was so good. I gave a two star review because I don't want to slam a new business. I was hoping that the association with the Chicken or the Egg would mean good things. We ordered a large pepperoni pie. On the plus side, I will say it was very big and had a ton of little pepperoni. The problem with the pepperoni is they all turned into little cups of oil. I tried blotting them with napkins with modest success. I don't know whether it was the oil or another ingredient but the net result was the pie tasted so salty, we ended up calling it quits after half a slice and going out. Throwing away a $34 pizza went against the way I'm wired but leaving it in the fridge for someone else would have too. read more

Unfortunately nothing good to say. We called to order 3 pizzas (because their online ordering was down) and were told it would take 40 minutes which in of itself is a bit surprising for a place that only sells pizza. But was shocked to show up 40 minutes later to see a crowd waiting to only sit there for 40 additional minutes just to get 3 pizzas (1 hr and 20 minutes total wait). Wait aside, the pizzas were very poor. The margherita pizza was undercooked and mushy with no basil, the plain pie had basically no sauce and tasted like cardboard, and the beesting pizza lacked chicken and sauce. Also super surprising that they are so isolated from the CHEGG even though it carries its name. Hopefully they can figure things out and make some changes. read more

Don't mean to be rude, but this pizza was actually probably the worst fresh pie I've ordered ever. Maybe their window slices are better, but the fresh pie was stretched so thin, the cheese was thicker than the dough underneath. So the slices had 0 backbone. Pure rubber floppiness. They gotta thicken up that crust and not stretch the fresh pies so thin. I know window slices are supposed to be thinner for the sake of size, but if I'm getting a fresh pie I don't want to basically see through the dough layer. I rated it 2/10 honestly. It's average at best. There are way better options on the island. The atmosphere is non existent. As far as the actual pizza goes, it wasn't bad. If it was the only option at 2 am after having a few pops at Buckalews, I could get down with it. Variety is a plus. The pizza is very good and the place is spacious and new (no tables or seats however). Been there twice already. My only constructive comment is that there's a bunch of young guys working there who walk around like zombies and appear like it's their first day working. The pace they move at is definitely "beach-relaxed-super-slow". They could cut the staff in half with the right people with faster pulse rates and still have capacity. Maybe some Red Bull before their shift is in order? Good thing it hasn't been crowded because I don't think the staff of 8 working there could handle more than 3 customers at once. But yes, good tasty slices. read more
