    A plain slice

Surf City Pizza is you're typical Jersey Shore Pizza Joint. It has a small indoor dining area, but let's be honest, you're probably picking up, getting delivery, or just grabbing a slice to go anyway. The standard plain slice features a fluffy dough with a crisp base and good structure. The cheese is good, the sauce is slightly bitter with mild acidity. Overall, nothing to complain about.

Stopped in with my business partner to grab lunch, we both had the Garden salad and garlic bread. It was a nice size salad and super fresh. Garlic bread was really good as well. We will stop in next time we are in the area!

Ordered a pizza for pick up. The cheese slid right off the pie! Pizza was doughy. First & last time ordering from here! Very disappointed

My fiancé and I were hungry after lounging around on the beach at LBI and decided to check out Surf City Pizza for lunch, after reading the good reviews for the place. We found street parking easily and though the place was crowded, we also found a table to sit at. It's very very casual. You go up to the counter and place your order and take the pizza back to your picnic - type table. My fiancé and I both got the cheesesteak pizza. We liked it well enough, but it wasn't extraordinary. It tasted a bit old. For a $4 slice of pizza, I expect more. I also got a slice of what looked like a bruschetta pizza (arugula and tomato slices with garlic on top) and liked it well enough, but it didn't have enough sauce (or any at all) and tasted a bit plain for $4. My fiancé got a meatball pizza and was also meh about it. Overall, filling food, but nothing extraordinary and not worth the prices. Service was alright. Quick, but not the friendliest. And their water machine was not working, so we ended up getting a bottle of water to share. In the future, I wouldn't rule out Surf City Pizza, but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice for lunch on the island.

Great pizza and wonderful owner and staff. Favorite pizza place on the island! Our favorite pie is either the eggplant parm or surf pizza.

We always come away with the same experience every time we try Yellowfin - the food is fantastic,…read moreno question about it. Despite another review, I actually think the food is NYC-quality. They have a solid range of unique menu items, tons of flavor, well-cooked and good portion size. Genuinely no complaints on the food quality, but unfortunately that's where it ends. The food is just beyond overpriced. I understand LBI is pricey, and this place is BYOB so they have to make money somehow, but the paella special (w/ a half lobster) was "idk $70-75 I think" according to the waiter. If you can't justify $50+ on a seafood dish, the MP is your flag that is going to be well over $50 (i.e $52 halibut??). As an NYC resident who enjoys fine dining, I can genuinely say I've never seen ANY fish dish get near $50. More importantly, the waiter got super pushy with us challenging us twice when we decided to grab a bunch of appetizers and a few mains, rather than a main for each of us. After this, he was basically none existent the rest of the meal, which was still over $300 for 4. We had to flag down others to get things like new silverware between courses or dessert. Overall, food is great, so if you want a good meal don't care about mediocre service at best and overpaying, then give it a shot.

Definitely make a reservation! Dining room is a little tight but nice ambiance. It is BYOB. Great…read moremenu. Service was excellent. Scallops were a little salty but overall we had a really good experience. Hard to get a reservation during the summer season but totally worth visit in the off season!
