Recently I had been in the market for a pair of glasses. Stopping into Spectacle without any expectations really just looking around. I was met by friendless and professionalism. The long and short of things I ended walking out with 3 pairs of glasses that followed my prescription. They were fitted and crafted perfectly. I was treated with respect every time I went into Spectacle over this process. I am extremely satisfied and am getting many compliments on how nice the glasses look. Great, personable eye doctor. They are very friendly, helpful, and respectful of your time. I have a fairly difficult prescription and other than my old eye doctor in another state, Dr. Kim has been the only optometrist in Vegas to nail my prescription, making her highly skilled in my book. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great private office with good customer service. My daughter went to this optometrist office and had a not so great experience. To be completely honest she felt really comfortable during the first and at the beginning of the second visit, and she really liked Tasha. My daughter is on a state health plan and is limited on financial support. At the end of the second visit when it came time to choose new frames she had done her research and knew she could get them for cheaper online. This location accepts the frames to be brought in if you buy them elsewhere. However once she informed Tasha that she would be doing that, Tasha's demeanor completely changed towards her. As in refused to acknowledge my daughter when she came in for her follow up appointment, dropping off the frames for the lenses to be put in, and when she came in to pick them up. Not sure if these employees receive commission for upselling frames but I do not believe this was fair. Whenever my daughter went into this office after advising she would buy the frames elsewhere, Tasha basically refused to help her, and wouldn't even say hello. In fact it seemed what my daughter did was talked about amongst the employees because both of the other employees asked her if she bought the frames elsewhere. If this is an option for people who want to save money and/or can't afford to pay a higher cost I don't believe the customer service should suffer or be altered towards that customer. I would recommend this office for the optometrist, it's really nice inside. Just be cautious when it comes to trying to save money and work with them. read more

I LOVE everything about this place!! This is my second year with Spectacle & each visit has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Vanessa K. is so kind & professional. The location is perfect. What drove me to write this review was the front desk staff. I forgot her name :( - it starts with the letter "T", I believe. She is consistently so very kind, funny, and (most importantly) patient... from the phone call to schedule my appointment to discussing which glasses I should get. A beautiful boutique filled with latest trendy designer frames and the latest exam diagnostic equipment. Dr. Kim and her staff will get you seeing straight again while looking stylish. I have a hard-to-fit wide face and Spectacle was able to fit me into a pair of Nike frames with high-index lenses. This pair weighs next-to-nothing considering my severe myopic prescription. My wife got herself a cool red pair of Dolce & Gabbana frames. read more

Was in the area eating and catching a movie.... By the way, great eats in this shopping center, but I digress. Popped into this super cute, trendy boutique of an eye place to look around and eyeglass and sunglasses shop. I didn't get any regular glasses but found a couple of pairs of sunglasses I just had to have. Amazing selection of really unique styles... Trendy, cool, but also classics. Picked me up some sporty Nikes and some Tom Ford aviators. Got the approval from the wife as well. And equally impressive to the selection was the service from the staff. Super friendly, greeted me right away, answered all my questions and really took great care of me. Like I had my very own personal shopper... Not sale-sy whatsoever... Will definitely be coming back the next time I need to get some new specs. If I lived in Vegas, for sure would consider having my eye exams here as well. read more

Recently I was looking for an optometrist that not only has a lot of experience and knowledge, but one that also has a good selection of high quality frames. A very good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Kim. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my overall experience. They have the latest in high tech exam equipment and they do not do the air puff test but have something much better, which was a big deal for me since I have sensitive eye's, they also have all the designer frames that you can't find anywhere else. Spectacle is truly a one stop shop for those who have high expectations for optometrists and eyewear. Oh and I forgot to mention, we went back to see Dr. Kim because I thought my wife had pink eye. After we saw Dr. Kim she let us know that in fact my wife did not have pink eye, but an eye infection due to using old contact solution. My wife's eye was back to normal in only a couple of days. We will definitely be going back to see her again in the future. read more

The store has an upscale boutique feeling with price points that appeal for all ranges of customers. The Optician - Ernest - has over 15 years experience and he provided excellent suggestions based on the type of work that I do. I received excellent service without feeling 'nickled & dimed' for the features that best suited my needs. Overall, an excellent experience and continued excellent follow-up service. FIRST CLASS!!! TEN STARS!! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with the overall experience I had at Dr. Kim's office. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I was in Las Vegas on a business trip and started to feel something wrong with my eyelid. My eye doctor in Hawaii highly recommended that I look for Dr. Vanessa Kim. I am very fortunate for the referral. From start to finish, the experience I had was very different than any eye doctor "office." When you walk through the doors, you will see the variety and selection of frames presented in a very bright, clean, inviting style. As I waited for my appointment, I browsed the selections: designer brands, children selections, young adult, trendy, contemporary, etc. I become so involved with "shopping" I almost forgot I was there for an eye doctor appointment. Because of my eyelid condition I did not try any of the frames on, but the staff was very helpful in giving me prices. They were very reasonable! If the value is there, why not spend a little for a nice frame that you will use over the next year or two! I also noticed another patient who was picking up her glasses. She was very excited and commented on how pleased she got them back in such a timely manner. My eye exam went smoothly. Everything seemed updated with new technology. Dr. Kim took the time to explain things thoroughly. She did not seem rushed in any way and answered all of my questions! (As well as the ones not related to my particular eye problem) I highly recommend this office to everyone in the Las Vegas area! I only wish they would open an office in Hawaii! read more
