Double smash burger was really good. Had beer in a bottle and it wasn't very cold. Service is ok but they definitely need more help. Hotel bar and restaurant with several TVs. Have bar seating and table seating. It's about 15 degrees hotter in the bar than in the rest of the hotel .

Healthy breakfast is important to me and I dislike hotel breakfasts. Not able to find anything in the area I settled on this gem. Omelette is wonderful, fruit is fresh and a little salad. It's $21 and tea and coffee included. Loved it.

Pulled pork grilled cheese on Brioche... didn't really look or taste like Brioche, but tasted very good.

Their website falsely advertises Kansas City BBQ, but other than that, it was good. No BBQ on the menu at all, which is crazy and probably why not a soul was in the restaurant when I arrived. Still, it's a good option if you don't want to go far. There are a ton of gnats at the bar, but the bar fruit looked fresh and enclosed so not sure where they are coming from.

Driest burger ever. BARELY any sauce.

Worst meal I've had in a long time. Burger had almost no sauce. Completely dry. Caesar salad had crushed up crackers on it? And had to mix in the sauce. Fries were cold. Chili was good so I guess we got $7 out of $77 in good stuff.

This serves as the main restaurant and bar area for the Sheraton in Crown Center. Breakfast is pretty simple. There are only several choices, not a large menu but the portions are generous and food comes out very quickly. Service is pretty good and the ambiance is very causal. I intend to visit this place during the evening to observe not only the menu change but if service is just as good as the breakfast hours.

Hotel bar restaurant and was presently surprised. I had the crafted beer and hummus and shrimp artichokes bruschetta which was excellent. You never get this type of food and service at hotel restaurants.

The sports bar at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center has some nice features. First, it's open later than any other restaurant in the hotel. That makes it the place for conventioneers to gather as their flights come in from around the country. Second, they have a decent selection of cocktails. Third, they have satisfying sandwiches. Our group gathered at a table under the big-screen TV after we had checked in and hung our clothes. We discovered that just two sandwiches appealed to almost everyone: the BBQ beef brisket, and the portabella mushroom. Now, someone who lives here might not give the BBQ beef brisket much credit, but for a traveler who has been dreaming about barbecue ever since he heard the convention would be in KC, this was a must-do. I could tell the waitress liked the sandwich by the way she smiled and almost danced as she described it. She said the sauce was a combination of 1/2 Gates and 1/2 KC Masterpiece, so I knew there was something special about this sandwich. The BBQ beef sandwich, with french fries, an appletini, a diet Pepsi, and a glass of merlot, came to about $37 + tip. Not bad for hotel fare. Also, the service was great. After a slow start, I watched as the entire staff pulled together as a team, and although it was almost closing time, made sure that we were all satisfied.

This is a nice bar located in the Hyatt Regency. I liked that it was on my route from the conference facilities to my room. Very convenient.

I ordered the brisket combo with a quarter chicken leg, cheesy corn, and baked potato casserole. My partner went with the brisket sandwich. We grabbed it to go in a hurry... and forgot plastic utensils. Crisis? Maybe. Regret? None. The brisket was perfection -- tender, beautifully smoked, with bark that had just the right texture. The chicken was outstanding too: lightly sauced, deeply flavored, juicy all the way through. Every bite tasted intentional. Even eating it on the go, slightly improvised utensil situation and all, this was some of the best Kansas City BBQ we've had. Would absolutely come back -- preferably with forks next time.

The outdoor seating looks nice, and the staff were friendly, but I would not come back.

I'm a big Ribs fan and I tell you what...these ribs were big, meaty and juicy!!! I didn't even need any bbq sauce for them. The sausage was great as well, along with the sides. I was full off of 2 ribs and my elote side. I did buy some banana pudding to go which was delicious too!!! As far as drinks go I didn't see any beer/cocktail drinks, just pop or tea. I highly recommend trying out Chef J's, I recently learned on their IG page they are putting one up in North KC that will be open 7 days a week. This location has limited hours/days.

I also thought the Barbecue sauces were very good. Plus I wasn't hassled for asking for more sauce or asked to pay a up charge. Classy place ! The Barbecue beans were also off the hook. They were so meaty and delicious. I could honestly make a meal out of them. This is not a hole in the wall place that makes you feel like you went back in time. The establishment obviously takes pride in everything they do. It shows in so many ways. The place was clean and the employees were well dressed. The cooking staff management team looked like they were proud to wear their beautiful black uniform, very professional and impressive. Putting that all aside the atmosphere is very impressive. Price wise it was comparable to the other outdated dirty places. Definitely a place to bring your guests especially if they are visiting Kansas City. If I needed a catering service, hands-down, they are my first choice. I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon and will certainly stop back in today to get an another taste of heavenly food.

The waitress said she wasn't sure why all the channels said unavailable because they were showing them the night before, so that cut our visit shorter than planned. It's a pretty big restaurant. Tons of space, tables, and bar seating. They also have a nice outdoor area that was pretty big. They looked to just be getting into the World Cup swing because they were just putting up TVs out there. Was in town for the Argentina vs Algeria World Cup game. My friend and I went here shortly after we arrived the Monday and checked into our hotel . We arrived just after they opened at noon. Service was fairly good. Food came out SUPER fast and was still steaming hot and fresh. Kitchen was definitely faster than the bar even though we were seated there. They had PLENTY of staffing in anticipation for the game. She said they were expecting more people but I told her they should just brace themselves cuz it's coming lol. It was very early in the day and it was the day before the game, so people were still making their way in. My entire flight were filled with fans in their jerseys and on our walk front the hotel that's all we saw. Drinks: we had the Tropical Paradise Agave Bloom. Both were good. We would've ordered more but again, we came for the game and couldn't watch, so we left for another restaurant to watch it. Food: my friend had the KC Combo 2 Meats Dinner with turkey and lamb ribs and it came with 1 side - he picked broccoli. I had the World Cup Combo Dinner with pork ribs, pork burnt tips, and spicy pork sausage which came with 2 sides- I had the baked beans and fries. All their meats were soo tender and came right off the bone! Everything was great! The flavor was perfect, the spicy BBQ sauce goes much better than the regular BBQ sauce they served with it but I love that they didn't over saturate the meats in sauce but gave you a good serving on the side. Their ranch sauce was SO good! Asked for some to have with my fries since I don't eat ketchup and man! I would've loved to take that back to NY! The beans were really good too. Only thing I didn't try was the turkey cuz I don't eat that but I tried my friend's lamb ribs and they really just melted in your mouth.

No, this is more of a sit-yourself-down kind of place, instead of being a make-your-way-to-the-bar-for-yet-another-drink kind of place. But they serve up some Joe's Kansas City BBQ, so you know they've got a reason to pull you in. Nothing says Kansas City quite like smoked meats & fabulous sauces, so get comfy & sample a Z-Man. There is plenty else on the menu, but if you're vegan or vegan-ish, then good luck or maybe have a cheat day. The BBQ is fantastic and Ice House has added their own bar & grille twists, so you have options beyond smoked meats. Seating is pretty good, and with both a wraparound bar and table service, there are plenty of options. As is the norm these days, there are screens in all directions, so you just don't miss a single moment of sportsball if that's your jam. P&L is a jammed up place when events are happening, so if you can find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy, then that's a win. County Road offers that and more, and it's only real knock is the service levels, which can be slow at busy times. But hey, if you have a seat and maybe a drink, then wait just a few extra minutes for servers to plow their way through the bar crowd. Definitely worth it for the BBQ alone.
