Not surprised by the low score. Verizon doesn't care like they use to. Seems to be a trend and I highly advise Verizon to fix it because they are going to lose me as a customer.

I went in to see if they could help me or what steps I could take if maybe I could upgrade my phone if need be. I didn't get the workers name so that's unfortunate, but she didn't know much and kept going to another associate to answer any question I asked her, which was annoying but it's fine. She gave me four options 1. Pay off the balance of the phone which was about 600 dollars. No thanks 2. Add another phone line and pay for just for both phones but only have one line, does that make sense? Ya, didn't to me either 3. Go to a phone repair shop and have them fix it (excuse me. what? ) 4. Shop around carriers since Verizon wasn't willing to help per this store. I went to T-Mobile since I was in tears not being helped . I have 2 small babies. I need a phone for mostly safety reasons . T mobile said if your phone is less than a year old (which I repeated to Verizon store over and over again) you can go to the apple, and they'll replace your phone since it's within the year apple warranty and he wasn't sure why Verizon didn't tell me that since it's what they tell there customers. I went to apple, and they replaced my phone in under 30 mins. In conclusion of this I really want to switch plans completely out of Verizon because they seriously didn't care to help or listen. Really disappointed with all the time was wasted.

I am writing to formally escalate a deeply disappointing and misleading experience at a Verizon…read moreretail location in Mansfield, Texas. The situation involves clear misrepresentation by store staff, resulting in billing issues, an invalid trade-in offer, and significant inconvenience to my family. Our business representative, Jason Kelley, advised us that we would receive over $800 per phone in trade-in value and that adding a line would lower our monthly bill. He further stated that he had verified my son's phone from Total Wireless was compatible with Verizon and assured us it would be fully functional within 30 minutes of activation. Based on these assurances, we agreed to add the line and proceed. Before leaving the store, I specifically asked about the trade-in return process and shipping labels, and Jason Kelley confirmed we could return the devices to any Verizon store without additional documentation. Unfortunately, after several hours, my son's phone still did not work. We returned to the same Verizon store the following day, where employees were unable to activate the device normally. Ultimately, they activated service using a Verizon test phone and then placed the same SIM card into my son's phone. While this temporarily worked, my Verizon account now incorrectly identifies my phone as a Google Pixel, which it is not. On January 12, 2026, we attempted to complete the promised trade-in. Another Verizon representative, Remy, informed us that no trade-in had ever been initiated and that Jason Kelley had only processed an upgrade. Remy contacted customer service to correct the issue. While a trade-in was eventually started, it was under a new promotion, reducing our value to approximately $600 per phone, instead of the original $800+ we were promised. At that point, we also learned that my son's phone was not compatible with Verizon at all, which explains why it had to be activated through nonstandard means. This directly contradicts the explicit assurances made by Jason Kelley prior to the sale. Additionally, I later confirmed with the manager on duty that we were told--incorrectly--that we could return the phones to any store without needing anything further. This misinformation was reinforced by multiple staff members, indicating a broader failure in ethical sales practices at this location. I believe we were intentionally misled in order to secure a sale and add a line. These sales tactics are unethical, deceptive, and entirely inconsistent with the standards I expect from Verizon. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial uncertainty. I am requesting: Restoration of the original trade-in offer we were promised Correction of the incorrect device information on my account A formal review of the conduct and sales practices at the Mansfield, TX location I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution that reflects Verizon's commitment to integrity and customer trust.

Nate was VERY nice and very knowledgeable- and made the change over seamless- with us leaving leaving with our new Verizon phones and the ole AT&T Phones - with the understanding that we return the AT&T Phones for a credit within 30 days Yesterday we came to the store to return the ole phones to complete the transaction. We had our Service Animal, Bella, with us and was greeted by the store manager- I told him what we needed and he said no problem BUT your pet must leave I informed him this was a service animal and she was remaining with me and was NOT leaving We had several terse exchanges of words- no blows- and I informed him after really losing my cool that he could take the phones and stuff them- we would just go to another Verizon store- which we did- where we received GREAT service- nothing - ZERO being said about Bella- I have NEVER written a negative Yelp review - I always try to be positive and encouraging and point out good things about a business & the employees- It is unfortunate that you have an employee that is so out of line to insult an ole 78 yr old couple and order them to take their service animal out of the store- Bella- our 6# Yorkie feelings were gravely hurt since she did NOTHING wrong to be invited to leave the Verizon store Our treatment here was totally out of line- totally uncalled for; whatever guidelines are in place that would precipitate such behavior need to be corrected and the employer advised to instruct their employees that this ain't the way @ TO RUN A RAILROAD" or a Verizon Phone store Dale B

Do not come here, this place is not a true Verizon store. This is a Victra offshoot. If you have…read moreissues here, you aren't able to just call Verizon and get it resolved. You will have to go back to a Victra store. The salesperson gave me an inflated value for the trade-in on my old phone that never made it onto my account. I also had to follow up with my old phone company later on because my number didn't properly port over to the new phone after he "helped" me. I had to follow up at a different Victra location closer to my house. The salesperson at that location had to have his trainer on speakerphone because it seemed like he was new and literally the only person in the store. Order online and do everything yourself (which you have to anyway), or go into an actual Verizon store. They shouldn't be allowed to have a Verizon logo or branding. This place is nuts.

I came back the next day to speak with the manager and she was slow to try to help me. I got tired of waiting, left my number, and she never called back. She said she would. Verizon support sent me on a wild goose chase around town. I took time off work chasing phones that were NEVER available according to the general manager. It also feels like they are trying to scam me if I'm not paying attention. They were not disclosing accurate pricing despite my insistence that we talk about "total price" and "any additional or hidden fees". They incorrectly use the term "out the door price". So scummy. Verizon corporate doesn't seem to care because they are a third party retailer. I don't care about that. The store has a giant Verizon sign and the logo all over the place. How would I know that they're not actually Verizon if they're allowed to put the logo everywhere. I pay for 5 lines and will gladly be taking my business elsewhere if Verizon doesn't take care of this. They're allowing this third party to act in their name so they should bear some responsibility. Additionally their support sucks. I feel like they falsely advertised phones to me. Not even the ones that were first come first serve. They "guarantee they will hold the one just for me". That phone was never there. Never was according to the stores GM. Go buy from apple directly and get mint mobile. I bet you'll save time, money, and stress.
