Horrendous customer service. I went to pick up a box and had to wait an hour and a half, just to pick up a box! It was the first Saturday of the month, only 3 people working, and both managers were off. I even asked to make sure that I had to wait in the line to pick up a box and they didn't care. Camilo was of absolute no help - was not accommodating of the situation, seemed inconvenienced with every suggestion I gave for a resolution, and didn't care to spend even 10 minutes after waiting an hour and a half. I've been a long time customer of TWC and Spectrum and normally pick up at the Costa Mesa location, but since I was in the area, I chose to pick up in Fullerton. I will NEVER go here again and have complained of the situation to the corporate office. Stay away from spectrum! We decided to try and bundle television and mobile services through spectrum. After being lied to about being able to have two lines on one phone we immediately called them back when it didn't work. We were on hold for four hours, then got transferred and we're on hold for another two hours. We tried again on another day with similar circumstances. We have yet to get a refund as all they do is transfer you and put you on hold over and over. Save yourself the heartache and go to AT&T or Verizon. Crap company with crap customer service read more

Horrible horrible horrible service! A simple task of switching address location and provided the date. Got hung up on called back and talked to two different people and when I got home my internet was switched off! Called back and was informed to call back during business hours tomorrow. I called back the next day and by the time I was able to get my service turned back on it took seven people to make this happen and hung up on twice. I went in yesterday to pick up a modem and let me tell you - it was nothing like what some of these bad reviews described. Joseph was friendly and super duper helpful. If it's to good to be true then it usually is, I had spectrum internet witch was great! They call me and ask if wanted to add cable and phone service. I kinda didn't want it however I was insured that if I didn't like it I can go back to my internet only at the same price anytime. HOWEVER once my wife and I decided we couldn't afford the cable and phone and wanted to go back to just internet they say they couldn't honor my original Internet. Instead the rise it $20 more a month. It's not right that they insured me I can go back at anytime and then change it on me. I will be looking for different providers. read more

I came and they have me 3 cable boxes and none of them had the wires or the cables so I had to come back to the store again. We have subscribed to the cable TV service of this company (and predecessors) for approximately 20 years. For two reasons: We are big Tivo fans but have never liked the different Tivo interface for the Direct TV so-called "Direct-Tivos"; Dish had their own DVR's; Uverse not available; so stuck with a cable interface. And, lack of high-speed internet availability in our neighborhood until recently so no streaming options. Issues with Spectrum: 1. If you ever have a problem, they will always blame it on your equipment first. So when your supposedly "digital" signal starts pixellating, be prepared for it to be "your fault". We usually just suffered through until they fixed the problem on their end (which is where it was ever single time). And of course this would always happen during the one show that you really, really wanted to see. 2. Tons of repetitive, low-quality content; hundreds of "junk" channels; all heavily laden with commercials. Probably 1/3 of every hour is commercials. Almost unwatchable even with a Tivo. And continual culling of the few quality cable channels that you like. Over the years we've seen them disappear one after another, without us changing our subscription package. 3. For all that - steadily increasing prices. The prices are raised at least once a year, more often twice a year. Our current rate was $102/month for basically junk. 4. Recently Spectrum instituted a policy where they "Do not do pro-rations" if you cancel your service. Consider that you are billed IN ADVANCE for a month of service. If you cancel your service one day (or a couple days) into your billing cycle as we did, they charge you for the full month anyway. I.e. THEY ARE CHARGING YOU FOR SERVICES THAT THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING. This is - in my opinion - outright theft. It's not that their billing system is not capable of doing pro-rations; they simply made the corporate decision to steal from anyone who is cancelling their services by taking monies for services they are not providing. Nice, huh? Would the fact that we have been customers for TWENTY years and have paid them literally thousands and thousands of dollars over that time have any influence on this policy in our case? Not a bit. They absolutely refused to even consider waiving this policy in our case. So, do you really want to do business with a company that offers crappy service and inflated prices and operates without any moral or ethical compass whatsoever? I would think not. Fortunately we FINALLY have some high-speed internet options and have been able to leave this miserable, horrible company forever. read more

HORRIBLE Company, Terrible Office and Non-sense Customer Support! I came to this office to cancel the contract. They said they requested for refund with Tracking Ref#2879-1957, and sent to third party company: WildCard. They requested with wrong address. I never received the refund. They said I need to contact WildCard to verify the address.... How can I verify the address with Wild card with wrong or unknown address? I paid to Spectrum, why I have to contact Wildcard for your wrong action? Customer service here said they closed the case ?!?!? and could not do anything about this since the contract was canceled. If anyone is planning on canceling their Spectrum Service, be aware. They will not pro rate your bill. Let's assume your billing cycle runs from the 1st of the month to the end of the month. If you pay on the 1st and return your equipment and cancel on the 7th, they will not give you any money back. Even if you cancel your tv service and keep your internet service, they won't credit your account. They just keep your $$. So keep those cable boxes and keep watching, until the last day of your billing cycle. Then you can switch to DirecTv. read more

Once again, a cable provider lies about their pricing. They promised that their pricing would stay the same for 1 year yet within 6 months they increased their bs charges. They claim they have no hidden fees but they casually added increases for next month. I just can't understand how companies are allowed to lie in order to get you to install their products. They know that you most likely won't stop their service because it is too much trouble to switch. If there are federal charges that increase, they should absorb those charges for their initial contract period. I can't express how disappointed I am with Spectrum. Absolute criminals. Assistant Store Manager Bryan Going is an idiot! Walked in and tried signing in on their iPad to put myself on their monitor for one-on-one assistance. However their iPad wasn't functioning properly. The iPad's touch response wasn't responding. I moved to the side and another guy behind me tried signing in and he also wasn't able to. The guy moved to the side and then a lady after him attempted to sign in but wasn't able to either. That's when I took the initiative to bring up the iPad concern to the next Spectrum associate that I saw. That Spectrum associate just happened to be Assistant Manager Bryan Going. I let Bryan Going know about the sign-in issue on the iPad and so Bryan Going walks over to the entrance of the store and starts signing up a lady and then another person who had walked in after me and I immediately told Bryan Going "what are you doing? I came in first these people you're signing up came in after me!" Bryan Going's response was "I thought they were next." I then replied "you have cameras right?" Bryan Going said "yes we do." So I told Bryan Going "then the cameras can prove that I got here first and all these other people that you're signing in came in after me. So does it make sense that you're signing them all in before me?" Bryan Going had no response and stayed quiet. Bryan Going didn't even apologize for his stupidity! What Bryan Going should have done was tap into his leadership skills and should have asked at the front of the store "who needs help signing in and who got here first?" Or Bryan Going could have brought out a clipboard and a pen and start taking names and- again, should have asked who had came first! But Bryan Going did not assess the situation properly, therefore making Bryan Going look like a complete moron for not being able to take control of this basic low-level issue. Now if you're a Spectrum customer and have physically walked in to this location then you know there's always a long wait time. No matter what time you come in there's always a long line. Reservations don't make a difference because you still have to wait regardless. There's no time frame in which a Spectrum associate can be one-on-one with a customer. Every customer's issue varies assisting times. That's why it's pointless making a reservation because they won't assist you at the time that you request. Now if you're Spectrum and you're reading this then hold Assistant Store Manager Bryan Going accountable for his stupidity. Let Bryan Going know to have situational awareness and common sense when facing customer issues. And if you're Bryan Going himself reading this review then fuck you! Line is absolutely long (and listed on screens for the public to see, might I add) and you have workers standing around talking about what time they're off like it's the fucking DMV.
