Just popped by here to drop off a modem and router from a rental house but then asked Oscar, who was waiting on me, if they had any deals on internet since that's all I use from Spectrum. I'm paying $91 a month for 1GB and Oscar said that was pretty expensive. He asked me if he could bundle a streaming service to lower it to $66.35 a month and then said I could cancel the TV after a month and then the internet cost would drop to $41 a month. Quite a savings and I appreciate Oscar pointing this out. I went with that deal and thanks again for the great service and price cut, Oscar! read more

I contacted Spectrum to send me a NEW receiver due to mine making a lot of noise. So they sent me a new one and it was all scratched up on the screen of the unit. I told them about it and they said l have to return it myself because they don't do pick ups. After all I have been paying $280.00s a month for several years they could have some company pick it up for me. I'm elderly and disabled and they couldn't care less how inconvenient it is for someone to return a damaged equipment that they sent and should have inspected it before sending it to me and have to find a way to send it back. I honestly think it was a USED receiver that they sent me not NEW one. And guess what after l complained about the noise all of a sudden the noise stopped happening. What are they doing ? I've been a loyal customer of Spectrum for the past three years, and this experience has completely broken my trust. In December 2025, I requested a transfer of my internet service to my new home. I trusted Spectrum to handle this correctly. Instead, they opened a new account and continued charging me for my old apartment without my knowledge--since autopay was still active. I ended up being double charged for months. When I called to resolve this, a representative apologized and assured me that the extra charges would be reimbursed. But later, I received a callback saying my request was denied and that I was being held responsible. This is unacceptable. Customers should not have to pay for a company's mistake. Spectrum needs to take accountability and learn how to treat customers who trust them. Extremely disappointed. read more

spectrum like so many other internet providers costumer services is horrible. They do all the unethical marketing tactics that drive me crazy. Rate increase, long hold times (especially if you're trying to quit their service). I was with spectrum for a long time and I finally got fed up with it. Took me an hour on the phone to do it. I had to give them my information 5 separate times and talked to four different people. No shame and they're appalled when you get upset. read more

Then they also charged for the same month My credit card on file and stupid me went to the store to pay in person thinking that was going to stop then .. so there were months that I paid three times a month for one service. I finally canceled my phone and much got a much better server with much better internet. spectrum mobile service sucks. I picked a plan online and needed a tech to run the cable from the street to the house. Ashley couldn't help with that, but did want to up-sell me. Off I went to the Brookhurst/Adams Huntington Beach Spectrum store, where I had the pleasure of being helped by Andrew. No up-sell, no interview, set up a visit for the next day, and at the price and speed I found as an "online only offer". Now they send me text messages saying I've used 100% of my hotspot usage on our phones, but #1 I have unlimited data, #2 they cannot provide me any information on my hotspot data usage on their website, app or anywhere! I recently moved and the only internet provider I could get at my new location was Spectrum. Ordering the equipment was easy enough and I was sent to this location to pick it up. I was given the equipment and a 1 sheet of garbled instructions to connect it and sent on my way. Once I finally got it set up, it didn't work the next day, I called they got everything rebooted and again 2 days later it wasn't working. They sent someone out who rewired whatever needed to be done and it went out about a month later. They did something over the phone and again more issues they sent me a new router and told me I shouldn't have anymore problems. It's gone out about 4 more times since. The service is absolute garbage! I've been in trouble with my job because I work from home and I've missed 8+ days (unpaid) in 6 months for WiFi issues. At this point I'm not even sure they believe me. I've never had Spectrum before and I can assure you that I will leave at the very first chance I get. 10/10 do not recommend. I tend to dread coming to these places. The one off Edinger can be a nightmare. Thankfully, this new store on Goldenwest was quick and easy. The check in kiosk didn't work for me but I only waited for about 5minutes being 3rd in line. I was just exchanging equipment and the guy was very helpful. I was outta there in no time at all. I would not recommend this service. They overcharged me for years and then when I went to cancel, they offered a lower rate but not until I said I was cancelling. Then, they required me to return the equipment. The address they gave me was incorrect and no one in customer service could give me the correct address. The navigation was able to find the store and now I'm in line while 1 person is working the counter and two other workers are just standing around. read more

I have had issues with Spectrum Internet, television, and mobile. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. They have billed me incorrectly several times for the wrong amount or for canceled services. I cannot recommend Spectrum with a clear conscious. I had to call them nearly every month to fix some issue. read more

My review is for Spectrum internet. S E R V I C E Overall, the service has been steady at 300 mbps for a 2 bed/2 bath condo with just 1 person working from home, 2 smart TVs, and occasional PS5, but not computer gaming. There have been a handful of instances where service cuts out and we have to re-start the router. P R I C I N G Absolutely TERRIBLE. After receiving a guaranteed "promotional price" of $55/month for my home internet, guaranteed for 12 months from Oct 2022, here we are in Feb 2023 just 4 months later and my internet has now gone up to $60/month going forward. It's just $5/month (or $30/year), but my biggest problem is that there was no email, phone call, or letter in the mail, just fine print on your last digital statement in tiny, less than 8 pt font. Spectrum is also notorious for never-ending price hikes year after year, so I know this will not be my last time with out of the blue increases if I continue with them. It seems like the longer you are a customers, the more they will charge you and the less they value you. Only the new customers get a good deal to reel them in, just to send them along a journey of price increases. C U S T O M E R S E R V I C E I called Spectrum just for them to tell me that they notified me in fine print about this a few weeks ago and that my promotional pricing and their word just 4 months ago didn't matter. They don't care about retaining customers, just about their precious dollars. I can tell you that I do not feel valued as a Spectrum customer and I will be changing my home internet to Costco. I would highly advise against using Spectrum for ANY services as this is a common theme with them - good speeds but never-ending price hikes. A L T E R N A T I V E S Verizon internet service some cities, however Garden Grove seemed to be at maximum capacity for internet users when I was looking for service at the end of 2021. I did have a great experience with their customer service. Costco has AT&T 300 mbps internet for only $55/month (forever, not just a "promo period" of 12 months) and they give you a $300 shop card just for signing up. That basically equates to $30/month for the first year and $55 moving forward. read more

I am furious. Spectrum internet is a ripoff. They charged me $70 for 3 days of service when I disconnected my account. When I talked to them on the phone he said sorry we don't prorate! I have been using Android since smart phones were invented. So you can realize why I was skeptical (and nervous) to transfer to iphone13. I relaxed when I walked into the store and was greeted by Kyler. He was so patient with me as I was really anxious. I can say the transfer was rather smooth and painless. As a bonus he was able to copy my favorite android apps from a Samsung 3A Galaxy to an iphone13. The switch was well worth it! I am already in love with my phone. Very poor customer service. The guy wouldn't look at my daughter's phone to help me. Never troubleshoot anything just told me it was an Apple problem. He didn't even look at my account to help to see when I purchase the phone. The location was not busy. So he had time. Spectrum is a ripoff, I cancelled my service when I could get fiber at 5 times the speed but they charged me a full months price of $124.99 even though I only used it for one week that month. The customer service rep said it's $124.99 and not prorated if you cancel after 1 week. read more

I only had one interaction here so I am not going to put this on the entire store but man this employee was RUDE! I was told on the phone that the quickest way to drop off old equipment was to drop it off at one of their physical locations....so this morning I went in. There were two employees and three customers. I went up to the desk waited until the older blonde woman had a moment and asked where the drop off box was for old equipment. She gave me a dirty look and told me it was "at UPS". Just like that, as if I was an idiot for bringing it back to the store. When I said the people on the phone said to just drop it off here so then she replies "well you'll have to get a number and wait in line cause I have to print you a receipt and as you can tell we are really busy", I guess 3 people qualifies for REALLY busy these days. I just don't get bad customer service. As someone who owns 2 businesses I would NEVER tolerate an employee talking down to a customer when they first walk into the store (if they are a jerk then go for it hahaha). I don't care if you think just because your old and "wise" you get to treat people with that level of rudeness right off the back, legit all I did was follow the directions I was given from the company and ask her a question; her snotty response was not appreciated or deserved so I left and went to the cm store which had GREAT customer service. Spectrum if your reading this you should really add some more customer interaction training at this location (if atleast for this employee) cause damn at the start of the day she already had a bad attitude and a chip on her shoulder. read more

Came in today and they entire group of employees were so nice and very helpful. Mustafa, Kim, Anthony, Adrianna and Jason were all engaging with all the customers who visited while my mom and I were there. Mustafa helped us with a new iPad and iPhone to sync pictures! I told our FV community that the store is now there and how helpful they all were! So happy there's another location to go to that's even closer to home!! I am in Huntington Beach and in the last year Spectrum has gone from good to bad service on the internet. It is almost a consestent with outages every week now. I can remember 2 years ago we seldom had an outage, now forget it. Also instead of doing a maintenance service at a convient time for the customers they are doing it during prime times. I almost gave up about 3 months ago and went to T-mobile, but Spectrum gave me such a good deal it was imposible to pass up. There is an old saying "You get what you pay for". Well if this continues I will be gone on the next billing cycle. Also forget the MPS being what they say, I seldom get much over 100 MPS, if I am lucky. Had people out here 6 times in the last 5 years and replaced everything in my house and yard to no avail. read more
