I went to this T-Mobile store because my phone was overheating and the battery was draining very quickly. The salesperson told me they were replacing my phone, but I later discovered that instead of a replacement, they had opened a new line on my account without clearly explaining it. I think it's very unfair to treat customers this way. Many people trust what they're told and don't expect a new line to be added when they believe they're simply getting a replacement phone. Future customers should be careful and make sure they fully understand what they're signing before agreeing to anything. I hope this store is more honest and transparent so no one else has to go through this experience. read more

This is an authorized T-mobile retailer. What does that mean? It's not a real T-mobile store so it's not incentivized to help you upgrade your phone without opening or upgrade to a new line. They will straight up lie to you stating they don't have the phone in store so they don't have to sell you the phone and save it for new lines. They will push you to order the phone and have it ship to your home. Hansel lied to us saying he doesn't have the iPhone 17 pro in stock only to be called out by the official T mobile store stating they have plenty. I called and filed a complaint to corporate and will write an official letter. This practice is straight up shady and should not be tolerated.Do not come to this store to get your phone upgrade. This office is not very helpful. Come into the store, as a T-Mobile customer, to get help to reset the phone to factory settings. The representative was nice, and he said it could be done, but he needed authorization from someone (I assume his manager). He came back and said he was not authorized to do that. I would be careful if one of the employees offer you a free T-Mobile tracker. I was not told I would have to pay for a monthly line and on top of that on my bill I noticed one of the trackers had insurance being billed. I had to call customer care multiple times to get it solved. You can't just cancel the line of the trackers because then you have to pay for the trackers themselves. You have a 14 day return but you don't notice all the billing until your monthly bill. On top of that if you're retuning the devices past the 14 days you get charged for restock fee. Also the trackers cannot be used if you are not paying for the line monthly. So you're better off buying an AirTag. I was honestly blindsided and do not trust this store. My business will be taken elsewhere, respectfully. read more

Came here as instructed by customer service to obtain a replacement device for a device that would no longer be supported by their network. The gentleman working was not helpful at all. Been here multiple times for phone purchases and upgrades. I was there 3 months ago for a line addition and phone purchase. Never again. They don't greet you and I saw the 2 reps helping customers so I sat down. "FYI this is not a corporate store " Took them 10 minutes to say hi and not a problem they had other customers. No they won't take your trade in phones instead of mailing them back to tmobile in the flimsy return boxes. I bought the tmobile modem 6 months ago from this location and wow they won't exchange it. Even though I called tmobile the day before and they verified the store. I have bought 5 to 6 phones here and never again. Customer service is terrible. Please go to the corporate store on Warner and brookhurst and they greet you and will definitely get you the equipment you need. Tue 10/12/2021: Stopped by after work to pick up free TM Tuesday blanket. Already ran out! What's the point of keeping all TM stores closed til 10 am when everyone's already at work, and leaving none for ppl who get off from work? They're encouraging the jobless and uneducated to stay that way, and for the rest to entertain the idea. This pattern is a subtle reason for our increasing joblessness. However, I still love all the benefits I've enjoyed from T-Mobile. (months ago) Tried buying a Galaxy S20 FE here once. Went HORRIBLY. Serenity (or similar name) assured me the shipment would come in no more than a week. Turns out it'd take a month. But my UC Master's graduation's in a couple short weeks... Had to cancel my order. Wasted my parent and my time. Even gossiped on the phone with her boss during my appointment. Bad presentation. However, they did teach me the basics of how to buy a phone. I visited this T-mobile store to get my mobile hotspot (Alcatel Linkzone 2) up and running. Although I ordered it online, I was hitting a snag when trying to set it up. I interacted with the two female employees (Mira, and a blonde woman that I can't recall her name). Both of which helped me successfully set up my mobile hotspot within a few minutes. They were young, personable, and friendly. On the way home, I received a phone call from them, because in the midst of setting up my mobile hotspot, they had accidentally forgotten to put back the adapter in the box. Luckily, I wasn't too far away, and drove back for it. This was a bit annoying but wasn't the end of the world. This T-mobile store is the closest one to my house so I'm glad it's such a great store. If I have any T-mobile issues that require going into a physical store, this one will be my go-to. (Plus, it's right by Costco so I can get some shopping and a hot dog!) read more

I rated this store 5 stars when it 1st opened and I had a wonderful experience w Dominic, I have not seen him since, I bought a 2nd phone w Tefaye and he was fine, my experience w the 3rd phone was a disaster, I'm not sure he had a bad day or what but this was no way to treat a loyal customer, nobody I knew bought 3 IPhone 12,13 and now 14 pro max w all the bells and whistles, he just did not seem to care or did not know the answers to the many questions I had, it's a new IOS, very sophisticated phone and I feel he should take the time to learn about the features to help the customers. He told me about the $500 rebate program instead of all the available options for me to choose from, luckily I was a question box and we finally stumbled on the best option, why would anyone choose the $500 option when $1,000 was available, after all my IPhone 12 pro max I paid a lot of money it's like new and $1,000 is fair. What got me really upset was when I called Tesfaye to ask for help w activating, he sounded reluctant and said something like it would take too long, I should just do it myself at home using my WIFI. This store is quiet not mobbed like other stores I have been to. I decided to drive there anyway, he did not greet me, it was like he did not see me, Jamal saw me and motioned for me to come to him, I did, I was very pleased w Jamal quiet but nice demeanor. It ended up taking too long as expected, Jemal went on a break, Sal told me to take it home and finish it there, I did but ran into error messages, I went back to the store and lucky me Sal was gone, he did not seem to want to help either. Jemal was there to kill stupid error messages and activated the phone successfully, it took like a total of4 hours! (2.5 before and 1.5 hrs after his break) w 1 terabyte hard disc and 2 way authentication, my 300 gig of contents, it was complicated but it was finally done. I asked Tefaye for a box to mail my old phone back, he gave me an empty box, he should have given me a complete box w instructions wo my asking, he clearly did not work too hard and the following day, my husband called and got a nice guy, Colin, he sounded like a manager, he said there was a box w label, address and instructions. I was mad as hell we had to go back and forth wasting my time. Tefaye needs to learn better customer service, there are a T-Mobile store in every block, every mall and I'm not going back here, 4 stars to Jemal, he would get 5 stars if I meet him again, sometimes just 1 visit it's hard to judge a person, I was fooled once w Tefaye and I'm not coming back. Yelp Reviews: Quarantine Edition #11 The best T-Mobile experience ever! In these Covid times a lot of emergencies have gotten even more inconvenient; sadly that is especially true for anything tech related. I had a sudden phone disaster and needed to handle things in a pinch and decided to switch things up from my normal T-Mobile store because the Yelp reviews for this Newhope location looked so solid. Glad I did. Not only was this T-Mobile store as empty as you'd expect in our socially distanced times, but it was also immaculate... not a dust mite or errant piece of trash in sight! The staff was very quiet and very professional, all masked up like tech ninjas executing jutsus on customers' phones. I was especially lucky to have the manager Dominic assist me with my new phone, carefully handling the setup, answering all my device and account information questions... even installing the phone cover and screen protector for me. The whole process was as quick and painless as anything I've ever experienced at any other T-Mobile store and I've been a customer since my high school days. First of all in requesting that the head corporate supervisor take special notice of this review. There is a store associate by the name of Dominic and he was by far more than just an associate. My wife had purchased 2 I phones on promotion and clearly was for sober reading mistaken by what she heard and realized that the following day of her purchase. Now , My Buisness as a first responder deals with the public in the daily and as stressful as this had become he was so helpful and understanding. When my wife indicated that she was misinformed. He without question in my presence explained the entire process and how he was by far extremely patient and had gone over the promotion several times and she admitted yes he did. If this gentle Giant DOMINIC is not a manager at the store already. You won't have to look far!!! he's by far the most pleasant sincere and dedicated employee a company would ever want. Also, If there was 50 Stars on here I'd recommend 100 this Man Dominic knows exactly how to resolve issues without discomfort towards the consumer. We showed up at 8:21 as they said they close at 9 yet the guy hid in the back and then once asked why they were closed he looked at us turned around and left to the back. ONLY once we got to our car did they start to unlock the entire store there's 2 guys and honestly I'm very upset at how we were just treated.
