I canceled my service due to moving to an area where Spectrum does not have service. I canceled my service over the phone with Anthony out of Orlando. Anthony told me to return the equipment to a Spectrum store and was kind enough to give me the closest location which was this store. The next day I received an email saying to return my equipment to a Spectrum store. Received an email as well to Return it to the spectrum store. Several texts too saying return equipment to a Spectrum store. So that's what I did. So on October 20, I went to your store. The agent that took my equipment said he couldn't give me a receipt for the return Because my service was canceled. He said I had to return it to a UPS store. I said no, I'm going do like Anthony, the emails and the texts told me. So what I did was, I took pictures Of the equipment Sitting on the counter with proof that I returned the equipment. I was not going to go out of my way to a UPS store plus I was instructed GO TO A SPECTRUM STORE TO RETURN YOUR EQUIPMENT . I am reading other others saying they encountered the same problem. Ok, so how about this Spectrum store contact corporate headquarters and tell them to instruct the person you talk to over the phone with when you want to cancel your service to return it to a UPS store. In addition how about not sending emails and texts to return it to a Spectrum store!!!! Solves the problem. Oh and by the way just received more emails on October 23 and 24 Reminding me to send my equipment to a Spectrum store. Come on guys simple fix for future reference:SAY, TEXT, EMAIL RETURN TO UPS this will help others too. read more

What a bunch of worthless employees. Stay away from this place if you possibly can. Don't bother signing in, you won't ever get called. I gave up after about an hour after watching three other people just walk in past me and get waited on. Signing in means nothing to them. They just take whoever can get to them first. read more

After experiencing some intermittent interruptions in our internet service I did some troubling shooting to isolate the problem prior to contacting Spectrum our internet provider since I own the router. The results showed it was the cable modem which provides connectivity to the router so I contacted Spectrum and was given the choice to schedule a cable technician or swap out the equipment myself at this location. Upon arriving here I read the Covid-19 protocol posted on the door prior to entering, the store appeared very clean with social distancing measure in place on the floor and a hand sanitizing station just inside the door. There is an electronic sign in tablet which I noticed the couple that entered in front of me ignored - I read the instructions and checked in noting the purpose of my visit. Although there were a number of customer hanging out that arrived ahead of my name was called just a moments after checking in using the tablet. I walked to the counter with my old cable modem in hand and the was only asked that the reason for my visit today was to exchange equipment - I nodded yes and the process began after he checked my ID after a few scans with the barcode reader we made the exchange and I was on my way. Yes it was simple and a pleasant experience - note to file: you must have a new modem activated by the service provider after making the connections when returning home. Customer service people English so bad cannot communicate. For someone in the communication business that should be top priority.

TV package is way too expensive. Mobile phone service is unavailable. I have yet to talk to a real person about mobile service.

Need to have negative stars. Worst customer service ever! I can't believe a company allows such rude and disrespectful behavior from employees. First, let me be clear that my real gripe is about Spectrum customer service that you speak to when you call on the phone. However, that wasn't an option on YELP so I just chose this store because it is where I tried to return the garbage they sent me. I called Spectrum to see about lowering my bill as I had just encountered some issues and I was going to have several unexpected medical bills. The lady seemed helpful and after going over my bill, she proceeded to tell me about a deal Spectrum was running on cell phone service. I told her I wasn't interested and then she said instead of a cell phone I could get a tablet instead. That did get my attention since my existing tablet was pretty outdated. I told her I really didn't need to be out anymore money just now and after a big sales pitch, I was only going to be paying $5/mo for 2 years and it would have service those 2 years. I would pay $20 that day, my tablet would be shipped and pay $5 monthly for service. And yes, I was a fool and took the bait. I thought if nothing else, it's Samsung tablet which is what I had before and loved. The tablet came and even though it's a Samsung tablet, I don't know if it's the worst they ever made or if it was used or just a lemon but it's awful. Just turning it on takes forever, whatever service that was supposed to be available is nonexistent and even in my house where I have Spectrum internet, it barely gets a signal. Trying to use this thing reminds me of dial up internet. And my bill, not cheaper. I got into this mess a few months ago but haven't written about it until now. You see I really needed a tablet for something this morning and after an hour for something that should have been 20 minutes, I decided to write this. Had a great experience with Leslie just now. Went to exchange some older equipment for new and she made it seamless. I also mentioned having trouble with my elderly mother's remote in a different account. She gave me a new remote with larger buttons. The whole process was so quick and she was so personable. Overpriced they will tell you to get more services to lower your bill and the bill is high by the next 6 months. Spectrum lie about there service, it seems like employees are just worry about getting sales. I had Spectrum for 6 years and I was told I had to get these services to lower my bill I talk to two customer representative today and was told that I can get these extra services off my account to lower my bill. I am very upset that I had this services going on 6 years and now they can take this extra services off. Spectrum will charge your card without any knowledge and ask if you want a credit on your next bill. I have never sign up for an automatic billing. I recommend to go with an other provider if you can. read more

RUN from this store get a mobile service elsewhere. Ignorant rude manager walks around with his hands in his pockets. Waves his hand in your face almost hit me with it. Tells you it's HIS store. I have had some great results from Spectrum in the past. I completely understand Covid-19 may delay service. But I was told by two different phone representatives that a technician would be here today. The 3rd time I called and questioned why I could not get a technician today I was told one would not be here today that the other two representatives were wrong tell me that a technician would be here before 3pm. I would not be reviewing if I were not lied to. read more

If at all possible, go to a different location. Service personnel in the store will watch customers struggle with payment kiosk, for 20 minutes without helping them, even when they are not busy themselves. I asked an employee to help the customer, and was told no because I was rude last time I was in. read more

I foolishly answered the door for a guy from Spectrum saying they wanted us back as customers. The guy quoted a price which was an improvement over AT&T. We said okay and wanted the Silver package of channels. The first installer guy came into our house with no mask and was coughing. The install took three days and three different guys. Well, when I tried to watch the Smithsonian channel it didn't work. A call to Spectrum said we didn't get the Silver package and would have to pay more to get it. We were also told that they had no idea how their representative got the price we were quoted. We put up with this for several months where many, many times the channel I wanted was unavailable and to TRY AGAIN LATER. So we got ATT back, boxed up the Spectrum equipment and returned it Feb 5, were told a refund would be sent in 3 to 5 business days. Today is March 6 and no check. If I worked for this company I would be embarrassed. Never again. read more
