    My mom has been hospitalized since January and a "valued" spectrum customer for over 11 years- she fell behind on some payments as one does when they are in the hospital- and they didn't extend any sympathy and I ended up paying about $250 worth of charges on my mom's behalf before putting her account on a seasonal hold. Forward to to the beginning of June when the account came off the hold and I inquired about removing the Internet services on June 1st and 2nd. I was told that it would take at least 24 hours to run this process. I received a call back from a customer service agent named Misha, on June 3rd who then after 30 minutes, informed me that we would not be able to remove the Internet without canceling the account. Misha then placed the account back on a seasonal hold and assured me that I would only pay the $26 I was billed for prior. On June 7 when I received a statement for $140 I reached out to customer service where they then filed an incident case the review was denied and I now have to pay $140 for the account being open on the ONE day of the month that they bill because the rep told me it would take an extra day to run the request. After an hour of passing my call from rep to rep- 0 out of 10 on customer service besides the one gentleman in Colorado named Wesson, who actually found my case worth disputing. I will be a closing the account tomorrow on behalf of my mom after 11 years of being one of their "valued" customers.

    I'm told I have 400mbps. Yet their speed test says 5mbps. It's just fraud. My bill has gone from $35 to $100 a month since I've been with them. The internet is so slow I hot spot my cell phone. I'm about to save a $100 a month. Sad when you can't stream a movie. Pathetic!! You all know you can't hit 400mbps. Just marketing fraud. Just like your Verizon cell service you sell under the spectrum name. Just a heads up, Verizon data line is horrific. Doesn't work in Santa Monica at all. See the attached screen capture from the spectrum site using your speed test. You failed miserably. Can't wait for the class action suit for fraud. Edit: I can't make this up. They make me an appointment for the technician then tell me there was an issue in my area that's been resolved. Haha. This is comical. Except I've been having this issue for weeks. They are trying anything and everything not to make the house call. Sorry, youre so overpriced you will send someone out to do the work. I'm not doing it for you. See attachment.

    BAI Connect took my condo building's business, then refused to upgrade us…read more My condo building got fiber internet installed with BAI Connect instead of one of the big companies like Frontier or AT&T when it was built. However, BAI only put in wires for 300/300 up and down even though it is fiber. When I moved in, I connected with BAI over email in hopes they would come resolve this. I offered them a commitment from our HOA/residents for a certain amount of signups and would have happily advertised their services to the residents over other options like spectrum. And to their credit, they were responsive at first. They even sent a tech to our building to assess. However, after this tech came, I never heard from them again. Months passed and no response, even after I followed up multiple times. My building is now taken hostage by BAI because other fiber companies won't route fiber to our building since they are here, but they won't give us gig speeds. This harms our building's value and our resident's internet experience and options. Spectrum charges us more money because they don't have any competition. I would be happy to and will change this review if someone from BAI explains to me why they can't bring us to the modern age of fiber internet. Until then I feel sad that our building is being taken advantage of.

We live in the South Bay in house that was built in 1921 with lath and plaster so getting good WiFi is not easy. Brian spent a few hours assessing our entire house, Sonos system and TV's. He provided a thorough, detailed proposal that addressed our needs. He did not try to nickel and dime us or oversell as others tried to do. Brian goes above and beyond (went to Home Depot to buy mat black paint to hide marks behind the media room TV). The 4 people who work for him are impeccable and care about the job being done beautifully. We are so appreciative of his work and follow through. Brian came back twice to troubleshoot a technical challenge from old equipment, at no charge because he insisted the entire system work perfectly. Read the many 5 star reviews of Circuit Genius over the past 7 years, which are spot on- so very happy that we did.

My initial review stated that I was forced to file a lawsuit against Brian Staller / Circuit Genius (legally known as: Performance Telecomm) for breach of contract. The matter is now permanently settled by the court. After the vendor filed an appeal, the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in my favor and found Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm liable for breach of contract. Owner Brian Staller calls this a "frivolous lawsuit" in his response to my initial review, but the facts prove otherwise. In his response to my first post, Brian called the lawsuit "bananas-level false" and "frivolous." The fact that I won a judgment against this company not once, but twice--once at trial and again on appeal--means that two judges ruled in my favor, finding Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm in breach of contract. The court's decision validated the vendor's refusal to honor two key contractual agreements: 1. The Refund Scam: The vendor refused to process an agreed-upon refund for a Yamaha receiver (which the contract stated had "No restock fee if not wanted"). Instead, he attempted to coerce me into a "settlement" that required me to sign a document agreeing to no online reviews, legal proceedings, chargeback attempts or warranty support for work done. 2. Deceptive Practices: After agreeing in writing to return to my home and install a network rack at "no extra charge," he later refused to do so unless I paid a new 2-hour service minimum. He then withheld equipment that I had already paid for and refused to refund the cost of that equipment. **This Contractor is now a Regulatory Liability** More than six months after the final judgment, Brian Staller / Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm has refused to pay the court-ordered debt. His failure to comply with the judgment has resulted in severe disciplinary action: 1. License Suspension: The Contractors State License Board (CSLB), has suspended his license for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgment. (See CSLB Record for Performance Telecomm; License 117708). 2. Business Lien: I have filed a lien against this business to attempt to enforce the judgement owed (See State of California Notice of Judgement Lien; File No: U250127585224). This business employs deceptive practices and does not honor contractual agreements. Brian is desperate to get 5-star reviews and refuses to accept anything less even if it means bullying and using intimidation tactics with his customers. A business that ignores its legal obligations, has a lien against it, and has its state license suspended should be a major red flag to anyone reading this. Do not put yourself through a lengthy legal ordeal with this vendor. Proceed with extreme caution.

To dispute the charges, I have called them many times and heard many apologies and promises to credit the unsubstantiated charges, but they still went ahead and charged me. I filed a dispute through my bank with their documented email of the credits I was promised. I have also placed a stop payment at my bank on any future charges and have canceled autopay. I just received another bill from Verizon charging me a fee for my bank declining more attempts to charge my account. Mind you, I disconnected Verizon internet on 10/2/2025, over a month ago, and my phone a week before that. Bottom line, their low introductory prices, that are supposed to last 3 years with the basic service and 5 years with Plus and Ultimate, are fake. I have paid over $400 so far, and I am still getting billed. Stay away from this provider. Their 5G network is not reliable, but you keep getting billed for the service promised but not rendered.

Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.

He kept telling me, "I'll be with you in a second buddy" as he saved this father and daughter a TON OF MONEY on their bill. Finally I was up. I told him my situation and honestly I don't know what he did. He kept bashing on that iPad like he was breaking the code in a sci-fi movie and he just.... well I don't know, broke the code. I saw him 19 minutes before they closed and he handed me a brand new iPhone 17pro about 11 minutes before they closed. I'm paying a tiny bit more per month but I have another line now? Finally assured that they were the ones, we committed to an entire new phone system - no small commitment. We have never looked back. Let's talk customer service first. When there's an issue and you call DigiLink - their easy voice navigation system gets you to a live person - in record time! Their incredible desire and commitment to resolving an issue is textbook perfect. Technical mishaps happen. Upstream carriers fail and that has a rippling effect. But it's how DigiLink responds that was what mattered. They communicated their progress and followed up to make sure all was back to normal. They never lost their personal touch even as I saw them grow which is what should happen. Throughout the years, our commitment with them grew. We added additional sophisticated systems and with their incredible service, there is no downtime to complain about.
