Not speedy at all! They scheduled me a couple days out for a 3:30 PM appointment. Needed a new windshield for a relatively common car. They had the make and model and said they would order the glass. I show up and "Shane" walks out to look at the car. He says "oh, this is a two hour job and we close at 5 o'clock. Also I'm not really comfortable doing this. Would you like to go to our Bothell or Burien locations? They have qualified techs there." Then they blamed the new scheduler "Laurie" for setting the appointment time. A customer-oriented business would've gotten the job done by a qualified person even if it meant staying after 5 o'clock. "Speedy" wasted my time and caused more downtime with my undrivable car as I work to reschedule elsewhere. Very poor customer service. If you don't want your time wasted by someone who really doesn't want to do the job and by an operation that didn't have the foresight to prepare for these known factors, make sure you use somebody else. read more

During a typical Seattle rain shower my drivers side window decided to go down and stay down. I called up Speedy Glass and took my car in first thing the following morning. The shop was open on time and the glass tech was very helpful and said he would look at it right away and give me a call when he discovered the problem. About an hour later I got a call that it was just a switch in the door that had come loose so no replacement was needed. I could just come and pick up the car and they wouldn't even charge me for the labor since it was such a simple repair! That is great customer service. read more

After getting lost and turned around trying to find some shady guy who said he could fix it we end up googling this location. This wonderful man, stayed open late for us, and fixed a rather large chip (about the size of a quarter), he wasn't even sure it could be done and he did a fantastic job. It is hard to review or rate a glass repair business when I have nothing to compare with it. The service was quick (less than 30 minutes) and inexpensive- actually it was covered by insurance so it didn't cost me anything additional. The two chips in my windshield were "repaired" but I really thought they would be much less visible after the repair. While there are some well-intentioned folks who work here, overall, they're a nightmare. I hired them to replace tops for a glass table and a dresser. Communicating was a challenge, but I persisted, and finally got someone over to my house to take measurements. They told me the job would take a few weeks, but it took a few months. Not only that, the top for the dresser didn't fit! I'm not talking about just being a little bit off--it was a disastrously poor, totally unacceptable job. So after someone decided to help themselves to my golf clubs by smashing my rear door window over the weekend, I did some recon and found Speedy Glass on Yelp. They were very nice to deal with and flexible on my appointment (I had some conflicts come up and had to change times twice). They didn't seem to mind and were not at all put out by my lack of schedule discipline (I would have been ruder to me than they were on the 2nd schedule change). Not only did the technition show me the new piece of tinted glass (to prove it would match) but he started the job immediately upon my arrival. I dropped the truck there at 9 am and explained that I needed the job done by 11:00 at the latest due to a flight departure. They called me at 10:22 to say it was all done and ready to go. Job looks great and was a painless process for me. Price quoted was price charged and seemed very reasonable. If you have glass needs, you can do much worse than Speedy on Aurora and 89th. Screwed up the initial replacement windshield, and they fired the guy who did it. Then I took it back for a second round (at no charge), and they did it quickly. I now find out that I have been collecting water under my carpet and sound insulation (hidden underneath my all weather mats) all fall and winter, ruining the sound insulation and carpet and driving me out of my mind trying to figure out where the leak is coming in. I will be going somewhere else in the future, but not before I attempt to get reimbursed for the materials it will take to fix the damage done to my vehicle. read more

I arrived at 3:30 pm and was out the door shortly after 4 pm. I had broken windshield that was caused by a truck. The truck did not have their load covered, so when I called the trucking company they agreed to pay for the new windshield through Speedy Glass on Aurora Ave N. Speedy took care of all the paperwork from the trucking company. I got there at 7:45 and even though they did not open until 8:00, the office manager, Theresa let me in to start the process. She knew all about the insurance claim through the trucking company, I only had to sign for the windshield and they will get the reimbursement from the trucking company. I did not have to pay or contact my insurance company. I hope I will not need Speedy again in the near future, but I would use Speedy again if I have a broken windshield. read more

I dropped my car off for a window repair, they have scratch my car. The manager admitted the incident at first and tried to trick me to take the car out to body shop for repair estimate. I refused and insisted on waiting for the police for an official report. They have changed their attitude instantly and have lied to the police to get away from it. The guy who replaced our rear windshield from the Aurora location cut corners, didn't replace it correctly AND there was black tar/glue seeping out onto the paint. He even had the balls to say that it was the cars fault that he couldn't make the windshield fit correctly. Shower doors to the rescue, compliments of Tim, Theresa, and the great staff at Speedy glass. Wonderful, wonderful work. Though they were a little pricey (and really not that much different than anyone else) Tim and Theresa more than delivered a fine product to our master bath in Everett, WA. The professionals at Speedy Glass were helpful, patient with us, and very eager to deliver in a speedy fashion. Tim came to our condo and did a bid for us within a day after we called their office. He was on time, very courteous, and professional. Then Theresa and the office staff did an outstanding job of ordering our shower glass (two panels) and getting Tim back for the install. In less than two weeks, Tim was back , and heTim an incredible job of setting the shower glass. And it looks beautiful. He is a true artist and takes great pride in his work. As he should because it is first rate! And the Speedy glass team got the job finished months before any one else could. I called and scheduled an appointment. The local shop apparently is not open for the weekends but they provide a mobile service that comes to you between 9am and 1 or 1 to 5pm. I scheduled for mobile with a morning window for Saturday. When nobody showed up or called my home by 2pm I called. A very unprofessional person chewing gum and a "oh well" attitude answered the phone. Before even hearing my name and looking me up, gave me a story about how busy they were. I then told her I had a previously scheduled appointment and gave her my name. She looked me up saw all my details, but said that last person neglected to put me on the schedule. After wasting an entire Saturday at home waiting she wanted me to reschedule for their "cable man" like hours, and offered no discount. I'm taking my business elsewhere! Quotes from other area shops are about the same and they seem hungry for the business. read more
