My first visit provided me with an xray of my back with an immediate consult as well as laser heat to the trouble spot, massage gun, adjustment, decompressor and electrodes. I am writing this review because I really wish I had read one like it before I went to see this doctor. First,I was very excited to give this chiropractor a try to see if he could help me with my pain. I read all the reviews and really thought it was possible. It was easy to make an appointment online and I received a call back verifying my information and making an appointment within a few days. All good. When I arrived for my appointment I put on my mask and entered the property. I immediately noticed that the receptionist was not wearing a mask. I specifically ask her, "Are we not required to wear a mask?" She said no. I finished my check in with my mask on. It felt strange but there was only one other person in the area (without a mask) so I wasn't too worried. When I was taken back to meet the doctor I was told to watch a short video while waiting. My throat was dry and I stared coughing so I took my own mask off. The doctor entered the room without a mask. He sat down and I asked him, "So have you been vaccinated?" He looked down, sort of hemmed and ha-ed and said, "no, I'm fine." Then continued talking. I'll admit I was a bit taken aback. It so surprised me that I continued listening to him talk although in the back of my head I was concerned to be setting in a healthcare business where mask protocol (and apparently vaccinations) were ignored. He seemed reasonably confident that his services would have a positive effect on my pain level...so I went ahead and decided to stay and learn what his treatment really entailed. Against my own better judgement I stayed and underwent treatment. There was only one other person getting treatment at the same time so I didn't feel too exposed. Oh, and as other reviewers have said, Hashimoto doesn't do any of the treatment himself--that is done by staff. Afterwards I paid for the treatment which wasn't cheap but I do believe it held promise. However with that said I came home and the more I thought about it, felt like I had been put in a very untenable position. After all, when we go to a health care provider we entrust ourselves to them to help us (and yes pay for it). Instead, rather than following the guidelines of the CDC https://covid19.ca.gov/masks-and-ppe/ Dr. Hashimoto his own beliefs and thoughts ahead of his patients. With all due respect to his knowledge and education, clearly his own personal preferences and beliefs take precedence over the guidelines that oversee his profession. To me this is a clear example of profit (and pride) before the needs of the people he claims to want to help. If I had been told before I went to my appointment that this office was not requiring masks and/or vaccinations I doubt I would have given this man's actions another thought. But I was given no notice and put in a very uncomfortable situation. I will not be returning for future treatment and based on the actions that occurred in this office I will not return. I also would NEVER recommend this doctor to any other person. read more

The office staff was fantastic. Efficient and friendly, however I would not recommend this place. Dr. Hashimoto waltzed in with a very casual, arrogant, non personal attitude. After an X-ray I was told that I had a neck of someone 13 years older than me, and it would cost $Xxxx money to fix it over the course of 2 years. Immediately he tried to sell me the full treatment plan and if I paid full up front, I would get 3 free treatments. What?? When he treated me he was rough and was rushing through the process. I understand that he sees a lot of patients, but it would be nice to not feel that that was the case. Upon my follow up appointment I was again greeted with a very blasé, arrogant attitude. After a quick review of my case, I was once again, presented with the cost of the treatment plan. When I suggested I would like a second opinion before I did anything, I was borderline mocked at the suggestion of it. After some back and forth, I realized this was not the guy I wanted in charge of my health on any level. He just wants to sell treatment time. I ended up leaving the office without further treatment. There is no way this guy was getting another cent of my money. I do not recommend. EDIT: You're treatment plan may very well have been in line, but your attitude and presentation is less than desirable. I would gladly pay that money to get my neck fixed, but from someone who seems like they care. No thanks. Will never return. read more

Dr H & Dr. D are both terrific. This practice can treat any type of pain. I have been a patient in this practice for 5 years and I can tell you it is the best and most state of the art chiropractic. For me the introduction of joint pain was alarming. I have officially been welcomed to older age. Always active and athletic.... this pain was not good and also a bit depressing. Facing it head on i did seek advice. Dr. Hashimoto is well respected and I heard from a friend in Los Angeles about the good results he and his staff achieve in a collaborative union with the patient . Joint damage evolves over time. Instead of turning to Advil, pills etc. i would rather work on investing in the practice of therapy and healing. After just a few weeks i am significantly feeling better. The therapy i receive is the best. Don't let pain win.. i will simply say "thank you" to Dr. and staff for our continued efforts and success at managing pain. TY read more

I went to Hashimoto bc of all the five star reviews. I was convinced he was going to be one of the best. However when I went there I felt like I was on a conveyor belt between nurses and stations. I signed in and was sent to the xray room to watch a 20 min video about how his practice was different from others and video testimonials. If I'm already there I don't need more marketing and convincing. Then I waited 40 min for a nurse to say a few more minutes. When he came in he didn't look at me in the eye. He just asked what the problem was without really being engaged. My problem didnt matter bc he quickly took me to get an xray. I told him I had severe pain on my spine. He took the xray but didn't explain what we were looking at. I saw slight curvature in my upper back and asked if that was going to be an issue as an athlete. He said "other athletes deal with it so not sure." He then said I had to go to the front to pay and book my next appt before treatment. Still very little engagement or eye contact. When he finally adjusted my back he was so aggressive. Despite the pain I told him I was in he pushed so hard. So hard that I felt I was going to throw up. And then I never had any interaction with him again. I went from room to room with nurses. Going from machine to machine, lasers, vibrations, magnets, decompression. He did not tell me how long it would take to heal or what could've caused it or what it was. I've been to many chiropractors over my life time. In fact the last review I wrote was for one in nyc who was amazing! His pushing aggressively to get to his next patient made me feel pain in my lower back where I had no issues at all! The nurse saw that I was tearing up but made noo mention of it. Maybe after several treatments his therapy works but this is not the type of doctor experience I ever want to have again. He made me feel insignificant and small. With no solution for my middle back pain. I didn't feel better days later which is why I'm writing this review. read more
